MCPD Arrest Report 4/23/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 33 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 4/3/2019:
Alton Michael Kemp Jr., 32 years of age, Address-Verdun Lane, Centerville, La., was arrested on 4/22/2019 @ 12:00 P.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (5 Counts)
Contempt of Court (4 Counts)
An officer came into contact with Alton Kemp Jr. on Wren St. A warrants check revealed City Court of Morgan City held active warrants for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department and booked and incarcerated.
Heath Johnson, 49 years of age, Address-Lawrence St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 4/22/2019 @ 4:26 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Domestic Abuse Battery
Officers located Heath Johnson on Lawrence St. on an active warrant held by Morgan City Police Department. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Kiethen K Humphrey, 30 years of age, Address-Cardinal St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 4/22/2019 @ 6:56 P.M.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery
Criminal Damage to Property under $1,000
Officers were dispatched to a Cardinal St. address in reference to a domestic abuse battery complaint. Upon officers arriving they spoke to the victim and learned her boyfriend, Kiethen Humphrey, had committed a battery on her and damaged her vehicle. Officers located and arrested Humphrey on the scene. He was transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Alita M Tabb, 19 years of age, Address-Deslinges Rd., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 4/22/2019 @ 11:00 P.M.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
