MCPD Arrest Report for 9/12/2019
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 09/11/2019:
Robert Joseph Gussman Jr., 46 years of age, Address-Aucoin St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 10:27 A.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (3 Counts)
Robert J. Gussman Jr. was located at St. Tammany Parish Detention Center and placed under arrest on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Chad Mitchelle Ferguson, 25 years of age, Address-Levee Rd., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 3:00 P.M.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear
Chad M. Ferguson was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on an active warrant held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.
Robert John Skipper, 38 years of age, Address-Dora St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 5:47 P.M.
Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (4 Counts)

Darell Jonic Gash, 38 years of age, Address-Willard St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 6:11 P.M.
Charge; Warrant- Simple Battery
The warrant stems from a complaint filed with the Morgan City Police Department on July 17, 2019. Darell Gash was identified as committing a battery on another person. A warrant was issued and on 9/11/2019 officers located him on Federal Ave. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Wayne Curtis Demarco, 49 years of age, Address-Belanger St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 7:47 P.M.
Charge: Resisting an Officer
Possession of Schedule II Methamphetamine
Violation of Uniform CDS Laws-Drug Free Zone
Officers were called to a local business on Brashear Ave. about an individual in the store under the influence. When officers arrived they come into contact with Wayne C. Demarco and observed he was under the influence. When officers attempted to detain Demarco he pulled away from officers and attempted to flee on foot. As he struggled with officers they fall to the ground at which time the officer was able to handcuff Demarco. He was located in possession of suspected methamphetamine within a drug-free zone. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
David W. Mire, 43 years of age, Address-Velma Court, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 9/11/2019 @ 11:34 P.M.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear
Officers came into contact with David Mire on First St. A warrants check revealed the 16th District Court held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
