MCPD Arrest Report 1/9/2020

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 30 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 01/08/2020:

Nikki Rene Mayon, 37 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/8/2020 at 7:14 P.M.


Warrant: Failure to Appear

Officers came into contact with Nikki Rene Mayon on Highway 182. A warrant check revealed City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Laketra Mitchell, 40 years of age, Address-Joseph St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/8/2020 at 11:00 P.M.


Charge: Driving under Suspension
              No Motor Vehicle Insurance

An officer on patrol observed a traffic violation on Highway 182. Upon conducting a traffic stop, the driver was identified as Laketra Mitchell. A computer check revealed her driver's license was under suspension and the vehicle she was driving was not insured. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Kim M. Crouch, 57 years of age, Address-Catherine St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/9/2020 at 1:09 A.M.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)

Officers were called to a Catherine St. residence to investigate suspicious activity. Officers came into contact with Kim M. Crouch at the residence. While officers were speaking with crouch, they could detect the odor of marijuana emitting from the residence. During the investigation with the assistance of K-9 Lady, suspected marijuana was located inside the residence, belonging to Crouch. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Tammy Hawk Fuselier, 50 years of age, Address-River Road, Berwick, La., was arrested on 1/9/2020 at 1:40 A.M.

Warrant: Speeding
                Improper Lane Usage
                Possession of Methamphetamine
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tammy H. Fuselier turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. She was booked and incarcerated.
