MCPD Arrest Report 1/21/2020
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 48-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 132 calls of service. The following person(s) were arrested as the result beginning on 1/17/2020:
Wallace J Williams, 50 years of age, Address-Highway 70, Pierre Part, La., was arrested 1/17/2020 at 10:00 A.M.
Warrants: Failure to Appear (4 Counts)
Wallace J. Williams was located at St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Anthony Javonte Harris, 24 years of age, Address-Arizona St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/17/2020 at 2:00 P.M.
Warrant: Contempt of Court
Anthony J Harris was located at St. Mary Law Enforcement Center and placed under arrest on active warrants held by the City Court of Morgan City. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Edward Guy Delone Jr., 46 years of age, Address-Carl Foulcard Dr., Franklin, La. was arrested on 1/18/2020 at 8:17 A.M.
Charge: Theft under $1,000.00
Officers were called to a local business on Highway 182 about a shoplifter in the store. The caller advised the shoplifter fled the store on foot when confronted by management. Officers were able to locate and detain the shoplifter in the area of 8th St. and Willard St. He was identified as Edward G. Delone. The store management witnessed Delone conceal several items of merchandise valued at $51.75 on his person, while in the store. When Delone was confronted by management, he fled on foot. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Juston Marshall Blake, 42 years of age, Address-Highway 182, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 1/18/2020 at 7:42 P.M.
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Highway 182 and Highway LA 70. During the traffic stop, officers identified Juston M. Blake as a passenger in the vehicle. A warrant check revealed the City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A warrant check revealed the Morgan City Police Department an active warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department on September 4, 2019. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
