Anthony J. Harris, 17 years of age, Address-Arizona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 12:40am
Charge: Warrant: Failure to Appear-Illegal Carrying of a Firearm; Warrant: Failure to Appear-Disturbing the Peace; Warrant: Failure to Appear-Possession of Marijuana; Warrant: Contempt of Court
Anthony Harris, who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department jail facility was booked on several outstanding warrants for the City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and remains incarcerated.
Brandon Kellerhals, 23 years of age, Address-Utah St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 3:08am
Charge: Appearing in Public Intoxicated
Brandon Kellerhals was arrested after he arrived at the Morgan City Police Department and attempted to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant. Officers were unable to confirm a warrant for Kellerhals. Kellerhals, who was intoxicated was given an opportunity to return home, however, Kellerhalls returned to the police department in an intoxicated condition and became belligerent towards officers. He was arrested, booked and incarcerated.
Mai N. Amador, 31 years of age, Address-Maple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 9:40am
Charge: Warrant: Theft by Fraud (Value $1,122.83)
Mai Amador turned herself in to the warrant officer with the Morgan City Police Department to be booked on an outstanding warrant. The warrants originated from an investigation by Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department regarding a theft from a Highway 182 department store by an employee. Investigators were able to determine that Amador had taken funds on thirteen different transactions beginning on May 29, 2013. The total of the thefts were valued at $1,122.83. Amador was booked and released after posting a $5000.00 bond.
Deshawn Moore, 18 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 3:12pm
Charge: Warrant: St. Mary Parish-Failure to Appear-Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of Weapon in Presence of CDS; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Cocaine; Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
A patrolling officer observed a suspicious subject in the area of Highway 182 and East Blvd. and attempted to stop the subject to investigate. The subject, who was riding a bicycle left the area and appeared to be attempting to avoid the officer. The officer was able to detain the subject in the area of East Blvd. and Railroad Ave. and upon attempting to identify the subject, was given a false name in an apparent effort to conceal his true identity. The officer was able to identify the subject as Deshawn Moore and learned of an active arrest warrant for the subject from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Department. the officer placed Moore under arrest and uncovered a celophane bag which contained suspected cocaine in the subject's pocket. Moore was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated.

Charge: Warrant: St. Tammany Parish-Theft of a Vehicle
Shane Scully was located on Highway 182 in Morgan City and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for St. Tammany Parish authorities. Morgan City officers learned of the outstanding warrant and located Scully. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Isaiah T. Thomas, 24 years of age, Address-Leo Drive Patterson, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 8:32pm

Isaiah Thomas was located at the Patterson Police Department where he was placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jerry L. McTaggart, 44 years of age, Address-Minden, La. was arrested on 06/13/2014 @ 11:41pm
Charge: Disturbing the Peace; Battery on an Officer (3 Counts); Resisting an Officer; Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated; Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Resisting an Officer
Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 motel in regards to a subject in the parking lot who was reportedly pointing a handgun at bystanders and shouting. Officers arrived and located a subject who fit the description and identified him as Jerry McTaggart. It was discovered that the subject was not armed with a weapon but was waving a cell phone charger. As officers interviewed the subject, he became combative towards officers. He had to be physically restrained and placed into the police unit. During the altercation, the subject threatened and eventually struck three separate officers who were attempting to restrain him. McTaggart was found to be wanted on several outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was placed into a holding cell until he could be processed due to his combative nature. It was also learned that McTaggart was wanted by Minden Police Department on outstanding warrants, however, Minden authorities refused to extradite the subject. He was booked and remains incarcerated.

Charge: Appearing in Public Intoxicted
Officers were dispatched to a Bowman St. residence regarding a reported medical emergency. Officers arrived with ambulance personnel and discovered a subject, later identified as Larry Mingo refusing emergency workers attempts to enter the residence. The subject, Mingo, who appeared highly intoxicated eventually allowed officers to enter the residence where they located another male subject, Leroy Favors crawling on the floor and a female, Lydia Bastien sitting on the couch inside. All subjects appeared intoxicated and were shouting obscenities. As officers were attempting to determine the condition of Favors, they observed items of drug paraphernalia which Mingo retrieved and ran to the rear of the residence where he discared the items in the toilet. No medical emergency was present. All three subjects, who were intoxicated were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

Officers located Kevin Drexler on Highway 182 in Morgan City and placed him under arrest on outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. Drexler was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Treylon Grogan was located by officers on Ditch Ave. and Highway 182 and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Improper Lighting; Possession of Schedule I CDs-Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting in the area of Roderick St. and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was identified as Noel Trimm. Officers immediately detected the odor of marijuana eminating from the vehicle and detained the driver. Trimm was found to be in possession of a Schedule I CDS-Marijuana along with items of paraphernalia. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Sixth St. regarding an intoxicated subject. Officers arrived in the area and located a male subject, later identified as Luis Martinez who was found in an intoxicated condition. As officers attempted to place Martinez under arrest, he became combative and had to by physically restrained. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Curtis Robinson, 44 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/15/2014 @ 2:25am
Charge: Aggravated Second Degree Battery; Warrant: Probation Violation
Officers were dispatched to a Brashear Ave. motel in regards to a female being struck by another subject. Officers arrived and located the victim with a severe gash injury to the head. The female identified Curtis Robinson as the person who had struck her with a telephone causing the injury. Robinson was located inside a motel room and questioned. He was also found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. The victim was transported to Teche Regional where she was treated for the injury.

Charge: Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute; Possession of Marijuana; Possession of a Legen Drug without a Prescription; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Transactions Involving Proceeds from CDS Activity

Charge: Possession of Schedule II CDS-Methamphetamine; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department's Narcotics Division secured a search warrant for a room located at a Highway 182 motel based on an investigation into illegal drug activity at that location. With assistance from the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division, investigators secured the location and located three subjects, Brandon Boudreaux, Jamaine Tsang and George Coleman. Detectives also located several items of drug paraphernalia, marijuana and a large amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance along with a prescribed antibotic, amoxicillin without a prescription. Investigators also located monies which had been derived from the sales of narcotics at the location. All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Roland J. Loupe Jr., 27 years of age, Address-Sandra Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/15/2014@9:07am
Charge: Theft of Goods (Value $248.63)
Officers were summoned to a Highway 182 supermarket in regards to a shoplifter. Officers arrived and Roland Loupe Jr. was identified as the suspect. According to management, Loupe concealed several food items,and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The total of the items was $248.63. Loupe was arrested, transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. He was released after posting a cash bond.

Charge: Warrant: 2 Counts-Failure to Comply with Drug Court-St. Mary Parish
A patrolling officer observed Ryan Delahoussay in the area of Onstead St. and was aware of an outstanding warrant for the subject. When the officer attempted to turn his unit around, the subject left the area. Officers were able to locate the subject in a shed at the rear fo the residence and place him under arrest for the warrant. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
