MCPD Arrest Report for 07/02/2020
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded 43 to calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 07/01/2020:
Brandon Scott, 32 years of age, Franklin, LA was arrested on 07/01/2020 at 7:20 pm
Charges: Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Legend Drug
Officers were called to a local business for a disturbance. When officers arrived they learned that Brandon Scott was involved in a disturbance and they wish to have him removed from the business. A warrant check revealed that the Morgan City Police Department held warrants for Scott. The warrants were from a March 2020 investigation. Scott was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
