Arrest Report 12/10/2014

     The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 12/09/2014:

 

 

 

Lance C. Carbins, 39 years of age, Address-Mallard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/09/2014 @ 11:36am

Charge: Disturbing the Peace; Resisting an Officer; Attempted Battery on a Police Officer

     Officers were dispatched to the Brownell Homes area in regards to subjects fighting.  Officers arrived and investigated the incident and were preparing to leave when they were approached by a male subject, Lance Carbins who began agitated at the officers presence in the area.  The subject was instructed to calm, however the subject began to use profanities and started yelling.  As officers attempted to place Mr. Carbins under arrest, he refused to cooperate and attempted to strike the officer with a closed fist.  The officer deployed a Taser and the subject was subdued.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was placed in a holding cell due to his combative nature.  He remains incarcerated with a bond of $2,168.00.

 

 

Jamison C. Dunigan, 39  years of age, Address-Shubuta, Ms. was arrested on 12/09/2014 @ 4:10pm

Charge: Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Warrant: Simple Escape

      Jamison Dunigan was located at Lauderdale County Detention Center in Mississippi where he was transported to the Morgan City Police Department and incarcerated on outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department.  Dunigan had escaped from officers custody on 08/24/2014 after being arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was booked and incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail facility and later transferred to the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, La. 

 

 

Aubrey J. Daigle Jr., 38 years of age, Address-Francis St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/10/2014 @ 2:34am

Charge: Simple Assault; Criminal Damage to Property

     Aubrey Daigle Jr. was arrested by officers after they received a complaint of a male subject who had attempted to strike another male subject in the parking lot of a Brashear Ave. drugstore.  The victim advised that Daigle had broken the window of his vehicle in the disturbance.  Officers gathered video evidence which cooberated the victim's story and located Aubrey Daigle Jr. who had returned to the scene.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. He was released after posting a cash bond.
