MCPD Arrest Report 03/10/2015

The following person were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 03/09/2015.



James P Duhon, 41 Years of Age, Address-Abbeville,La. was arrested on 03/09/2015 @ 4:30 pm.

Charge: Warrant: Simple Battery
                Warrant: Offense Against Intellectual Property
                Warrant: Computer Tampering
                Warrant: Unauthorized Use of a Movable (under $500.00)

     James P Duhon turned himself in to Officer of the Morgan City Police Department and was booked on an outstanding warrant from an investigation dated March 2015.   In that complaint the subject is accused of committing a battery on another and the tampering of electronic information from the victim's cellular phone.  He was booked and released after posting a cash bond.
Mary Landry, 37 years of age, Address-Maple St Morgan City,La. was arrested on 03/09/2015 @ 7:00 pm.

Charge: Warrant: Conspiracy to Introduce Contraband into a Penal Facility 
               Warrant: Conspiracy to Possess Sch III(Suboxone)

     Mary Landry, who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail was charged with warrants, which resulted from an investigation by the Morgan City Police Department which began on February 20, 2015.  In that incident Landry is accused of attempting to procure illegal narcotics and contraband while housed in the Morgan City Police Department Jail Facility. She was booked and remains incarcerated.
Wade White, 22 years of Age, Nebraska St Morgan City,La. was arrested on 03/09/2015 @ 8:31 pm.

Charges: Resisting an Officer
                 Careless Operation of a Vehicle

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle being driven in a careless manner in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. According to reports the vehicle was observed weaving in and out of traffic causing a hazzard.  The officer stopped the vehilce and identifed the driver as Wade White. According to reports White became belligerent refusing to follow the officer instructions. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department, where he was booked and released after posting a cash bond.
