Quentin J. Cooper, 25 years of age, Address-Poncio St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 07/28/2015 @ 3:04am

      
     On 07/28/2015, the Morgan City Police Department received information from Lafayette Police authorities in regards to a homicide investigation in their jurisdiction.  The investigation identified possible suspects.  The Morgan City Police Department located Quentin J. Cooper of Morgan City, La. after he was identified in the investigation.  Cooper was detained for Lafayette authorities and ultimately placed under arrest on a warrant from Lafayette Police Department for Principal to First Degree Murder.  He was booked into the Morgan City Jail facility then released to Lafayette Police detectives.
