MCPD Arrest Report 07/30/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 07/29/2015:


Devon E. Marsh, 23 years of age, Address-Ciro St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/29/2015 @ 9:35 am. 


Charge:  Warrant-Failure to Pay Fine
                Warrant- Contempt of Court

     Devon Marsh was transported from the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, La. to the Morgan City Police Department for outstanding warrants held for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Marsh was booked and incarcerated.

Michael M. Gonzales, 27 years of age, Address-Ditch Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 4/29/2015 @ 3:16 pm.


Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

    Officers were dispatched to a residence on Ditch Ave. in regards to a disturbance.  Officers arrived and made contact with Michael Gonzales outside of the residence.  Officers observed that Gonzales appeared intoxicated and  was using profanities. Gonzales was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Casey C. Chenevert, 18 years of age, Address-Mount St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 07/29/2015 @ 7:49 pm. 


Charge:  Warrant-Simple Battery

     Officers located Casey Chenevert in the area of Terrebonne and Sixth St. A local warrants check was done Chenevert and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident on July 12, 2015, in which Chenevert is alleged to have committed a battery on an individual. Chenevert was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
