MCPD Arrest Report 09/03/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 09/02/2015:


Amy E. Grow, 33 years of age, Address- Orange St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/02/2015 @ 10:01 am. 


Charge:  Warrant- Second Degree Battery

     Amy Grow was located on Orange St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant she held for the Morgan City Police Department.  The warrant stems from an incident in February of 2015, which alleges that Grow committed a battery on an individual. The victim later required medical attention. Grow was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Scarlett Burkart, 33 years of age, Address- Shriever, La. was arrested on 09/02/2015 @ 1:58 pm.


Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear

  Scarlett Burkart was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail Facility, when a warrant was discovered for the Sixth Ward City Court. Burkart was booked and continues to be incarcerated.

Tommy D. Donati, 33 years of age, Address-Carter Ln. Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/02/2015 @ 11:27 pm.


Charge: Driving Under Suspension

   A patrol officer in the area of Brashear Ave. and LA Hwy 182 observed a vehicle traveling without any headlights on. The vehicle was stopped to investigate.  The driver, Tommy Donati was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check determined that Donati's driver's license was under suspension, Donati was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
