MCPD Arrest Report 09/04/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 09/03/2015:


Bradley S. Williams, 25 years of age, Address-Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/03/2015 @ 10:50 am.


Charge:  Remaining After Being Forbidden
                Resisting an Officer

     Officers were dispatched to a local motel on LA Hwy 182 in regards to an individual on the property that had previously been banned. Officers arrived and spoke to the owner and were told that Bradley William was not allowed on the property and was seen in parking lot area.  Officers were able to locate Williams not far from the motel.  Williams tried to flee from officers, but was subdued. Willams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ernestine Vasquez, 49 years of age, Address- Third St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 09/03/2015 @ 9:03 pm.


Charge:  Headlights Required
                Driving Under Suspension

   A patrol officer in the area of Federal Ave. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. The vehicle was stopped to investigate. The driver, Ernestine Vasquez was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check determined that Vasquez's driver's license was under suspension. Vasquez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. Vasquez was later released on bail.
