MCPD Arrest Report 12/03/2015

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 12/02/2015:


Alton M. Kemp, Age-29, Address-Verdun Lane Centerville, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 9:25 am. 


Charge:  Warrant- Telephone Harrassment

     Alton Kemp was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. Kemp was booked and later released on bail.

Jasmine R. Broussard, Age-25, Address- Maple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 12:05 pm. 


Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation

   Jasmine Broussard was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail, when a warrant was filed by the Sixth Ward City Court for probation violation. Broussard was booked and remains incarcerated.

Allen C. Lennep, Age- 59, Address- Freret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 12:12 pm. 


Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation

   Allen Lennep was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail, when the Sixth Ward City Court issued a warrant for probation violation. Lennep was booked and remains incarcerated.

Russell Blanchard, Age-28, Address-Perro Lane, Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 2:04 pm. 


Charge: Warrant- Simple Battery

     Russell Blanchard turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant for simple battery. Blanchard was booked and later released on bail.

Rebecca J. Demarco, Age- 44, Address- Verret St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 5:40 pm. 


Charge:  Warrant- Unauthorized Use of an Access Card ( St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
                Warrant- Failure to Appear (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)

     Rebecca Demarco was located in the area of David Dr. A warrant check was done Demarco and it was determined that she held active warrants for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and the Sixteenth Judical District Court. Demarco was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
