Cassy Bursey, 32 years of age, Address-Orange, Tx was arrested on 12/11/2015 @ 2:29 am

Charges: Reckless Operation of a Vehicle
                 Possession of Marijuana less than 14 grams (2ed Offense)      An officer investigating a complaint observed a vehicle being driven in a reckless manner.  That officer called a second to the area at which time he located the vehicle.  The driver identified as Cassy Bursey could not produce a valid driver's license.  Bursey was placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.  Once at the Morgan City Police Department Jail a search was conducted of her property, where officers located suspected marijuana.  Bursey was booked and incarcerated.

Hedi Hoffpauir, 47 years of age, Address-Teche Road, Morgan City was arrested on 12/11/2015 @ 10:54 am.

Herman Sonnier,  47 years of age, Address-David Road, Morgan City,La was arrested on 12/11/2015 @ 10:54 am

Trey Jones, 33 years of age, Address-Ciro St. Morgan City,La. was arrested on 12/11/2015 @10:54 am

                Warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (3rd Offense)
                Possession of Marijuana 
                Entering Contraband into a Penal Institution
                Resisting by Giving False Information
     Officers responded to a call from a local business due to a subject being threatened  Officers learned that the was attempting to get money from another subject.  Officers learned that the subjects that had threatened him was still on scene and demanding money for an outstanding drug debt.  Officers detained three subjects in a vehicle outside of the business and began to speak with them.  Officers identified the subject's as Trey Jones, Heidi Hoffpauir, and Herman Sonnier.  Once officers began to speak with the subjects officers could smell Marijuana inside the truck.  Officers gained consent to search the truck and located suspected Marijuana along with suspected drug paraphernalia.  Officer also located a pill bottle, which belonged to Hoffpauir which contained Trazodone.   Officer also learned that Trey Jones had identified himself as Trey Smith was wanted from Terrebonne Parish and St. Mary Parish.  Sonnier was also found to be wanted from Lafayette Parish.  All of the subject were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department Jail.  Once there officer located suspected marijuana in Mr. Jones's underwear.

     Bradley Druihet, 29 years of age, Adams St., Morgan City,La was arrested on 12./11/2015 @ 11:59 pm

                  Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute
                  Violation of Uniform CDS law
                  Illegal Carrying of a Weapon
                  Possession of legend Drug-Promethazine
                  Warrant-Baldwin PD-Traffic
                  Warrant-St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office-Traffic
     An officer in the area of Allison St. observed what he thought was a speeding vehicle.  The officer checked the vehicle speed with his radar and confirmed that the vehicle was traveling 35 mph in a 20 mph zone.   The officer conducted a traffic stop and came into contact with the driver, who identified himself as Brad Broussard.  The driver later identified as Bradley Druihet was asked to exit the vehicle when he could not produce a driver's license.  The officer allowed Druihet to look for the paperwork for the vehicle and noticed brown medicine bottle with the label scratched off.  The officer detained Druihet along with the passenger Donald Richard.  The officer discovered that the bottle contained suspected Promethazine cough syrup.  The officer also located in that area several bottles of prescription pills.  Both subject were advised of their rights and checked for weapons.  Mr. Druihet was found to have a spring assisted automatic knife in his pants pocket.  Officer then located a digital scale inside the car which had suspected marijuana on it.  During the investigation officer noticed that Mr. Richard appeared to have something in his mouth.  When officers attempted to remove the items Richard began to attempt to chew the item.  Officers were able to get the item, which was a small baggie with suspected cocaine.  Officers also located suspect crack cocaine on the ground near Richard.  Richard was also in possession of a large amount of cash which he could not tell officer how he came to be in possession of.  Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department.  Once there Druihet was found to have a bag of suspected marijuana in his underwear.  The subjects were stopped in an area which was within 2000 feet of a school and a church.

Tony Kaufman, 21 years of age, Address-Franklin,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 2:01 am


Charges: Speeding  
                 Improper Lane Use
                 Driving While Intoxicated
     Officers responded to a complaint on Railroad Ave of a Motorcycle driving on Railroad Ave. at a high rate of speed.  Officers were able to locate the motorcycle and follow behind it at which time the officer paced the motorcycle around 60 mph.  The officer also observed the motorcycle cross over the center line several times.  The officer stopped the motorcycle and identified the driver as Tony Kaufman.  Kaufman was believed to be impaired and was given a field sobriety test which he failed.  Kaufman was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to a intoxilyzer test with the results of .098g%.  Kaufman was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Renee Garrison, 35 years of age, Address-Patterson,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 2:01 am

Charges: Warrant-Failure to return leased Movables
                 No Turn Signal 
     An officer in the area of Brashear Ave observed a vehicle turn without using its signal.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver Renee Garrison.  Garrison was found to have a warrant with the Morgan City Police Department for failure to return leased movables.  Garrison was placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department, where she was booked and released on bond.

Kim Crouch, 53 years of age, Address-Catherine St. Morgan City,La was arrested @ 10:54 am on 12/12/2015


Charges: Theft of Goods(Valued at  27.18)

     Officers were called to a local business after employees observed Crouch attempt to take items from the business without paying.  The officer spoke with store employees who observed Crouch place items in her purse and attempt to leave the store.  The employees stopped Crouch from leaving and contacted Morgan City Police Department.  The officers spoke with Crouch who admitted that she was going to leave the store without paying for the items.  Crouch was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Craig Albardo, 52 years of age, Address-Patterson,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 12:32pm


Charges:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Possession of Marijuana 
                 Possession of Sch IV-Clonazepam
                 Possession of Sch IV Diazepam
                 Possession of Sch II-Methamphetamine
                 Resisting an Officer
     An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 182 near Cottonwood Street.  Upon stopping the vehicle the passengers open the door and began to run.  While doing so he threw a bag at the officer.  The officer was able to give chase and after a struggle place the subject identified as Craig Alabrado in handcuffs. The officer recovered the bag at which time noticed a small baggie sticking out of it.  The officer then obtained consent to search the bag where he found the suspected narcotics.  Alabrado admitted that the bag and the narcotics belonged to him.  Alabrado was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarcerated.

April Aucoin, 35 years of age, Address-Patterson,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 6:07 pm


Charges: Hit and Run Driving 
                Operating a vehicle while Intoxicated 3rd 
                Careless operation of a vehicle
     Officers were called to Park Road in Morgan City after an off duty officer observed a vehicle strike a mailbox and drive away.  The off duty officer flagged down the vehicle and detained the driver until a patrol unit arrived.  The officer spoke with the driver April Aucoin who stated that hit the mailbox and spun her tires trying to get away.  The officer believed that Aucoin was under influence of some type of medication.  The officer conducted a field sobriety test which she failed.  Aucoin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she admitted that she had taken several types of medication.  A urine sample was provided  and the results are pending.  Aucoin was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Jose Lopez, 57 years of age, Address-Wise St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 9:29 pm


Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 No Turn Signal
     An officer patrolling the area of Brashear Ave and Second St. turn without using a turn signal.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver Jose Lopez.  Lopez seemed to be nervous while speaking to the officer and consented to a search of his vehicle.  The officer located a pipe which is used to smoke illegal narcotics.  Lopez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Robinson Castro-Aquino, 36 years of age, Address-Andras St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 9:52 pm


Charges: Operating a vehicle while intoxicated 3rd
                 Driving under suspension
                 General Speed Law
     An officer in the area of Front St observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.  The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver Robinson Castro-Aquino.  The officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol on Aquino who was found to have a suspended driver's license.  Aquino was placed under arrest after almost falling while the officer was conducting a field sobriety test.  Aquino was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to a intoxilyzer test with the results of .216 g%.

Nyah Boudreaux, 34 years of age, Address-Franklin,La was arrested on 12/12/2015 @ 11:04 pm


Charges: Probation Violation -City Court of Morgan City

     Nyah Boudreaux was transported from Franklin Police Department and booked into the Morgan  City Police Department Jail on Warrants from the City Court of Morgan City for Probation Violation.  Boudreaux was later released after posting bond.

Clarence Francois, 48 years of age, Address-Morgan City,La was arrested on 12/13/2015 @ 12:57 am.


Charges:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated

     An officer in the area of Railroad Ave observed a subject riding a bike in the middle of the roadway.  The officer stopped and spoke with the subject identified as Clarence Francois.  Francois began to get irate and cursing. The officer could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage and Francois admitted to drinking.  Francois was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Gerald Ruffin, 33 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City,La. was arrested on 12/13/2015 @ 2:11 am


Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Driving under suspension     An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 90 and La 70.  Upon coming into contact with the driver Gerald Ruffin the officer learned that he was driving under suspension.  While speaking with him about the stop the officer noticed that Ruffin kept placing his hand in his pockets.  The officer searched Ruffin and located what he suspected to be marijuana.  Ruffin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Cayde Hatch, 18 years of age, Address-South Everett St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 12/13/2015 @ 4:33 am


Charges: Possession of Marijuana 
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Violation of the Uniform CDS Law
                 Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of persons under 17
                 Contributing to the delinquency of Juveniles
     Officers were called to a South Everett St. residence for a loud music complaint.  The officer located the residence and attempted to speak with the owner.  The officer contacted Cayde Hatch, while speaking with him the officer could smell a strong odor of what he suspected marijuana.  The officer advised Hatch of his rights and learned that he had marijuana in the residence.  Hatch gave the officers the suspected marijuana, however he would not give consent to search.  The Officer obtained a search warrant and searched the residence.  The officers located suspected drug paraphernalia in the residence.  Also in the residence was a juvenile.  Hatch was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
