MCPD Arrest Report 02/05/2016
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 02/04/2016.
Dean J Beranek, 30 years of age, Address: Birchfield Lane, Berwick, La. was arrested on 02/04/2016 @ 9:19am.
Charge: Warrant - Violation of a Protective Order
Dean J Beranek was transported from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Jail to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated on an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police.
Jacob T Alcina, 28 years of age, Address: Martin Luther King Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/04/2016 @ 4:07pm.
Charges: Driving Under Suspension
Warrant - Probation and Parole Hold
Patrolling officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jacob T Alcina on Victor II Blvd. near Clothilde Street. The stop was in regard to Alcina having an active arrest warrant through Probation and Parole. A drivers license check revealed that Alcina also had a suspended drivers license. Alcina was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.
Eugene J LeBlanc, 21 years of age, Address: Elaine St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/05/2016 @ 12:11am.
Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear to Pay Fine on Possession of Marijuana
Eugene J LeBlanc was located on Freret Street near Florida Street where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. LeBlanc was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.
Brandi W LaCoste, 33 years of age, Address: Sandy St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/05/2016 @ 1:44am.
Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear for Possession of Hydrocodone
Brandi W LaCoste turned herself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial Dist. Court. LaCoste was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.
Dennis J Richard, 20 years of age, Address: Chennault St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/05/2016 @ 2:09am.
Charge: Peeping Tom
An officer responded to an address on North Third Street in regard to a complaint of a subject knocking at the door. The officer arrived and spoke with the complainant who advised that Dennis J Richard was oberved looking through a window of the residence. Reports indicate that Richard then attempted to enter through a door but was locked. Richard was told by the complainant that police had been contact at which time Richard fled the area on foot. A description was provided to responding officers when Richard was located in the area moments later. An investigation was conducted at which time Richard was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarerated.
