Amy I Poncemata, 38 years of age, Address: Chirpy Ln. Amelia, La. was arrested on 03/03/2016 @ 1:21pm.
Charges: Stop SIgn Violation
Driving Under Suspension
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle disregard a stop sign at the US 90 west bound down ramp at Martin Luther King Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver was identified as Amy I Poncemata. A drivers license check revealed that Poncemata had a suspeded drivers license. Poncemata was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
Decator J Crochet, 18 years of age, Address: Laurel St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/03/2016 @ 6:25pm.
Charge: Aggravated Assault
Shanna M Orgeron, 22 years of age, Address: Bowman St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/03/2016 @ 6:33pm.
Charge: Aggravated Assault
Officers responded to an address on Laurel Street in regard to a report of a male and female in the roadway fighting with weapons. Officers arrived when Decator J Crochet and Shanna M Orgeron who fit the descriptoin of the subjects involved were located in the area. According to reports, officers spoke with Crochet, Orgeron along with several witnesses to the incident when it was determined that Crochet and Orgeron were the two involved in the disturbance. Officers were further told that during the argument, Crochet was armed with an knife and Orgeron armed with a board. Officers were able to located a knife and board in the area which were suspected to be the weapons used in the incident. Crochet and Orgeron were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
