MCPD Arrest Report 03/08/2016

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period begining 03/07/2015

Camelia Tosca-Chan, 35 years of age, Address Morgan City,LA was arrested on 03/07/2016 @ 10:35 hrs

Charges:  Switched License Plate
                  No Drivers License
                  No Inspection Sticker
                  No Insurance

An officer patrolling the area of Seventh St. near Marguerite St. observed a vehicle which he determined had a switched license plate.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Camelia Tosca-Chan.   Ms. Chan was advised of why she was stopped and asked to produce a driver's license.  Ms. Chan advised the officer that she did not have a driver's license.  The officer also determined that the vehicle had no insurance.  Ms. Chan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and later released after posting bond.
