The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 07/19/2016:

Darnell Johnson, 37 years of age, Address- Birch St. Morgan City, La. was arrested 07/19/2016 @ 6:35 pm. 

Charge: Indecent Behavior with Juveniles

   Officers responded to a residence on Birch St. in regards to an individual masturbating in front of the residence. A description of the individual was given to officers. When officers arrived they located an individual fitting the description with a t-shirt covering his gential area. The individual was identified as Darnell Johnson and was detained by officers. According to reports, witnesses stated that Johnson was standing in front of the location and appeared to be masturbating while several children were outside of the residence. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 
Eric Lelleaux, 50 years of age, Address- Fourth St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 07/19/2016 @ 9:35 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana (3rd Offense)

   A patrol officer located Eric Lelleaux in the area of Sixth St. and Brashear Ave. While talking to the officer, Lelleaux appeared nervous. Lelleaux gave the officer consent to pat him down and suspected marijuana was located on Lelleaux's person. Lelleaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
