MCPD Arrest Report 03/22/2017
The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 03/21/2017:
Racquel Delaune, 41 years of age, address: Apple St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/21/2017 @ 12:11 P.M.
Charges: Warrant:Contempt of Court
Racquel Delaune was located in the area of Hemlock St. and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Delaune was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Brandi Scully, 33 years of age, address: Neptune St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/21/2017 @ 1:43 P.M.
Charges: Warrant: Cruelty to Animals
Brandi Scully was located at the Morgan City Police Department and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation that began on 03/16/2017 in regards to a horse allegedly owned by Scully that was not properly being cared for. According to reports the horse was seized by ASPCA Task Force during the investigation. An arrest warrant was obtained by investigators. Scully was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Jacob Pearce, 23 years of age, address: Aucion St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/21/2017 @ 3:10 P.M.
Charges: Warrant: Second Degree Battery
Warrant: Criminal Damage to Property
Jacob Pearce was located in the area of Eighth Street and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Department. Pearce was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Martena Rasco, 27 years of age, address: Third St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/21/2017 @ 4:38 P.M.
Charges: No Driver’s License
A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of MLK Blvd. Martena Rasco was identified as the driver of the vehicle and according to reports she was observed by the officer in court moments prior to the traffic stop. The officer had knowledge that Rasco was in court for not having a valid driver’s license as required by Louisiana State Law. The officer observed Rasco enter a vehicle after court proceedings and operate the vehicle from the area. During the traffic stop it was learned that Rasco still did not have a valid driver’s license. Rasco was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Eric Gaskins, 46 years of age, address: Apple Street Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/21/2017 @ 5:00 P.M.
Charges: Warrant: Contempt of Court
Eric Gaskins was located at the Morgan City Court House and arrested on active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Gaskins was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Raven Burise was located in the area of Eighth Street and arrested on active warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court for failing to pay fines on the original charges of careless operation and no child restraint. Burise was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
