Charges: Possession of Cocaine
                 Illegal Use of CDS in the presence of Juveniles
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Over the past few weeks the Morgan City Police Department began an investigation in relation to the sales of illegal narcotics at a Pecos St. residence. Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant on the residence located on Pecos St. in Morgan City. Located inside the home was Jerieth J. Callery, Letitia Pailette, along with a juvenile. According to reports the Morgan City Police Department K-9 Division was utilized in the search of the home and located was a large amount of suspected marijuana and synthetic marijuana that was packaged in a manner consistent with the illicit sales of illegal narcotics along with scales and packaging material to facilitate such sales. Investigators also located suspected cocaine and a 12 gauge shot gun. During the investigation, evidence was uncovered by investigators linking Callery to the suspected Marijuana and Synthetic Marijuana. The area where the incident took place was within a Drug Free Zone. Callery and Pailette were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
