MCPD Arrest Report 04/07/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 46 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 04/06/2017:
Andre Molo, 47 years of age, address: 7th Ave. Port Arthur, TX, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 09:05 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Simple Battery
Andre Molo was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation in 2015 where Molo allegedly struck the victim. Warrants were prepared for his arrest. Molo was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Alicia M. Billiot, 33 years of age, address: Ditch Ave. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 09:45 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana
Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)
Warrant: No Turn Signal
Alicia M. Billiot was located and arrested in the area of Federal Avenue on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in which a traffic stop was initiated for a signaling violation. Billiot was identified as the driver and during the investigation marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located. The area where the incident took place was within a Drug Free Zone. Billiot was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Jasmine A. Junifer, 27 years of age, address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 11:03 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Court on 10/12/2016
Jasmine A. Junifer was located and arrested in the area of Hilda St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Junifer was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Niki D. Freia, 33 years of age, address: Laurel St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 3:29 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to pay Probation Fee
Warrant: Probation Violation
Warrant: Failure to pay fine on 10/25/2016 (3 counts)
Niki D. Freia was located in the area of Levee Rd. and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Freia was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Danny P. Freia, 30 years of age, address: Laurel St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 3:41 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Failure to Appear for Drug Court
Danny P. Freia was located in the area of Laurel St. and arrested on active arrest warrants held the 16th Judicial Court. Freia was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Edward A. Gil, 39 years of age, address: Kimberly Dr. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/06/2017 @ 7:14 p.m.

Simple Criminal Damage to Property (2 counts)
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Patrol officers responded to a local business in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who alleged he was struck by a male subject who was identified as Edward Gil. According to reports Gil allegedly approached the victim and began hitting him. During the altercation, due to Gil’s actions, property was damaged. Gil was found to be in an intoxicated stated. Gil was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail. While being transported to the jail Gil damaged a Morgan City Police Department patrol car. Gil was booked and incarcerated.
Joel Claudio-Deleon, 40 years of age, address: Grizzaffi St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/07/2017 @ 3:41 a.m.
Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Oxycodone)
Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
No Drivers License
Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the area of LA 182. A stop was initiated at which time Joel Claudio-Deleon was identified as the driver. It was found during the investigation that Claudio-Deleon did not hold a valid driver’s license. According to reports during the Claudio-Deleon was found to be in possession of Oxycodone which is a SCH II CDS and he did not hold a valid prescription. Claudio-Deleon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
