MCPD Arrest Report 04/12/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 04/11/2017:
Frank J. Rock Jr., 29 years of age, address: Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/11/2017 @ 2:17 p.m.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
A patrol officer was flagged down in the area of Federal Avenue in regards to a suspicious subject. Frank J. Rock Jr. was located and upon the officer making contact with Rock he was found to be in an intoxicated state. Rock was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Nicholas Paul Kapp, 22 years of age, address: Lake Palourde Rd. Amelia, La, arrested on 04/11/2017 @ 10:48 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 04/05/2017
No Driver’s License
Patrol officers observed a vehicle in the area of Greenwood St. and the occupants were not wearing a seatbelt. A stop was initiated and Nicholas P. Kapp was identified as the driver. During the investigation it was learned that Kapp held active arrest warrants through the 16th Judicial Court and that he did not hold a valid driver’s license. Kapp was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
