MCPD Arrest Report 04/26/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 38 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 04/25/2017:

Sir Charles Evans 04252017
Sir Charles Evans, 38 years of age, address: Oak St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 11:57 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Home Invasion
                  Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery
                  Warrant: Simple Battery
                  Warrant: Simple Criminal Damage to Property

Sir Charles Evans was located and arrested in the area of Mallard St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted in March of 2017 when patrol officers responded to the area of Oak St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports officers arrived and spoke with the victim who alleged that Sir Charles Evans forcibly entered the residence and committed a battery on them. There was damage to the door that Evans allegedly entered through and another occupant in the home that was allegedly struck during the encounter. Evans was not located due to leaving the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Warrants were prepared for his arrest. Evans was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charles L. Gash, 62 years of age, address: Freret St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 12:08 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Mallard St. in regards to a subject who held active warrants for his arrest. Officers arrived and located Charles L. Gash who held active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. According to reports it was also learned that Mr. Gash had been banned from entering onto Housing Authority Properties. Gash was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tyson Celestine, 28 years of age, address: First St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 12:57 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Transactions involving Proceeds from Drug Activity
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on First St. According to reports investigators located during the search suspected marijuana, US Currency that is believed to be derived from drug proceeds, and drug paraphernalia. Investigators uncovered evidence during the investigation linking Tyson Celestine to the illicit sales of illegal narcotics from the residence.  The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug Free Zone. Celestine was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Sana Khan, 28 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 2:15 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Revocation on 03/27/2017

Sana Khan was located and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court in the area of Headland St. Khan was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Journi O. Loupe, 17 years of age, address: Neptune St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 6:01 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana

Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in the area of US 90. According to reports while the officer was speaking with the driver, the passenger Journi O. Loupe was observed concealing something on her person. Loupe was confronted with what was observed and Loupe turned over suspected marijuana. Loupe was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Dwayne Clark, 44 years of age, address: Verdun Ln. Franklin, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 7:13 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
                  Warrant: Simple Criminal Damage to Property
                  Warrant: Criminal Trespassing

Wayne Clark, 44 years of age, address: Lenny’s Ln. Amelia, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 7:32 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

Officers responded to the area of Mount St. in regards to a disturbance involving a fistic encounter. Officers arrived and according to reports observed Wayne and Dwayne Clark involved in a physical altercation. The subjects were separated and arrested. It was also learned that Dwayne Clark held active warrants for his arrest through the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by investigators when the victim alleged that Dwayne Clark was trespassing on their property and damaged a vehicle. Warrants were prepared for Clark’s arrest. Both Wayne and Dwayne Clark were transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Blaze A. Guerrero, 17 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/25/2017 @ 8:47 p.m.

                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Transaction involving Proceeds from Drug Activity
                  Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Brashear Avenue. According to reports upon searching the residence located was suspected marijuana, suspected marijuana plants, US Currency that is believed to be derived from drug proceeds, and drug paraphernalia. Investigators uncovered evidence linking Blaze Guerrero to the illicit sales of illegal narcotics from the residence. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug Free Zone. Guerrero was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
