MCPD Arrest Report 06/15/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result, beginning on 06/14/2017:
Jonathan Franklin Sr., 29 years of age, address: Garber St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/14/2017 @ 3:20 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Aggravated Assault
Jonathan Franklin Sr. was located and arrested in the area of Garber St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in early June of 2017 where Franklin allegedly threatened the victim with a weapon. A warrant was prepared for Franklin’s arrest. Franklin was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Leonard A. Yarborough, 55 years of age, address: Egle St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/14/2017 @ 4:10 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/18/2017 (4 Counts)
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 05/19/2017
Leonard Yarbrough was located and arrested in the area of Egle St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Yarbrough was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
