MCPD Arrest Report 08/10/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 08/09/2017:
Joel M. Floyd, 28 years of age, Address- Cross Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/09/2017 @ 11:20 am.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear (Patterson PD)
Joel Floyd was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop. A warrant check was done on Floyd and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the Patterson Police Department. Floyd was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Keith R. Henderson Jr., 18 years of age, Address- Hilda St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/09/2017 @ 8:21 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Probation Violation
Keith Henderson turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the 6th Ward City Court. Henderson was booked and incarcerated.
Kord T. Atkinson, 30 years of age, Address- Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 08/09/2017 @ 10:17 pm.
Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Probation Fees
Warrant- Probation Violation
Kord Atkinson was located in the area of Fifth and Greenwood St. A warrant check determined that Atkinson held active warrants for the 6th Ward City Court. Atkinson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
