MCPD Arrest Report 08/30/2017
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 08/29/2017:
Cade Ordoyne, 18 years of age, address: Brier St. Schriever, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 10:45 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 06/15/2017
Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 06/20/2017
Cade Ordoyne was located and arrested at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Ordoyne was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lynette A. Guidry, 34 years of age, address: Wytchwood Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 11:17 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Theft of a Motor Vehicle
Lynette A. Guidry was located and arrested at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 3, 2017, where Guidry took the vehicle belonging to the victim. A warrant was prepared for Guidry’s arrest. Guidry was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Rickie J. Hayes, 53 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 2:45 p.m.

Dequante Wesley, 23 years of age, address: Orange St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 4:20 p.m.

Lynette A. Guidry was located and arrested at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 3, 2017, where Guidry took the vehicle belonging to the victim. A warrant was prepared for Guidry’s arrest. Guidry was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Dequante Wesley was located and arrested at the city court on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wesley was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Ciara V. Williams, 29 years of age, Tom Park Dr. Houston, Tx., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 5:50 p.m.
Charges: Theft under $1000
Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 06/28/2017 (16th Judicial Court)
Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a theft. Officers arrived and according to reports, Ciara V. Williams was identified as taking merchandise valued at $22.00 without paying for it. Evidence was uncovered linking Williams to the crime. Williams was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 16th Judicial Court. Williams was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Sidney L. Wainwright, 21 years of age, address: Third St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 9:25 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana
Warrant: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles
Warrant: Disregard of Traffic Controls
Warrant: Resisting an Officer
Sidney L. Wainwright was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 3, 2017, when patrol officers observed a vehicle disregard a stop sign in the area of Fifth St. The officer initiated a stop and the operator of the vehicle fled the area on foot. According to reports, during the investigation, that female was identified as Sidney Wainwright. Officers located suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia that was linked to Wainwright. There were also juveniles located in the vehicle. Warrants were prepared for Wainwright’s arrest. Wainwright was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Austin M. Forsythe, 22 years of age, address: Barber Dr. Laplace, La., arrested on 08/29/2017 @ 11:36 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Open Container in a Motor Vehicle
Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling in the area of LA 182 with its bright lights activated. A stop was initiated and Austin M. Forsythe was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Forsythe was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and an open alcoholic beverage in the motor vehicle. Forsythe was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Shila Mouton, 48 years of age, address: Oak St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/30/2017 @ 5:43 a.m.
Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Oak St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Shila Mouton was identified as the suspect in the investigation. Reports indicate that the victim alleged that Mouton struck them during the disturbance. Evidence was uncovered that a battery was committed and Mouton was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
