     Officers located Francisco Gonzales on Victor II Blvd. and placed him under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the City Court of Morgan City.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Simple Battery

     Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 location in regards to a theft of a cell phone.  While investigating the complaint, officers identified a male subject, Ashton Howard who had committed a theft of a cell phone and approximately $200.00 in cash from another subject.  Officers were able to locate the suspect, Ashton  Howard and recover the cash and phone.  The subject,, Ashton Howard was placed under arrest.  During the investigation, it was learned that another subject, Michael Ruffin Sr. had allegedly committed a battery on another subject prior to officers arrival.  Ruffin was also placed under arrest.  Both were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. Michael Ruffin was released after posting a cash bond.

Charge: Speeding 47/35 mph zone; Driving Under Suspension

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle speeding 47 mph in a 35 mph zone on Highway 182 and stopped the vehicle to investigate.  The driver, Charles Doby was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license.  He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he wsa booked and incarcerated. He was released after posting a cash bond.

     Officers were dispatched to a Brashear Ave. location in regards to locating a subject wanted on outstanding warrants for Terrebone Parish authorities.  Officers arrived and located Alton W. Mizell and Ashely Dowdy who were both found to have outstanding warrants.  Both were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

     Thomas Barefoot was located by officers at a Second St. address and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Officers dispatched to the area of Fifth St. and Everette St. regarding a female causing a disturbance located Michelle Brown who according to the complainant entered onto another's property and began to cause a disturbance.  Brown, who was also found to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for the Sixth Ward Court of Morgan City was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Illegal Use of Contraband in Presence of Persons Under the age of 17; Possession of Schedule I CDS-Marijuana (3rd Offense); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Contributing to the Deliquency of a Juvenile

     Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 apartment complex in regards to suspected drug activity in the presence of a juvenile.  Officers arrived and located the apartment in question.  Officers made contact with the occupants, Ciara Leonard and Javien Francis, who was found inside  a bathroom of the apartment with a 15 year old male juvenile.  Officers located suspected marijuana inside the bathroom of the apartment along with items of paraphernalia.  Officers received statements from the suspects admitting to the illegal use of the substance in the presence of the juvenile.  Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

     Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 apartment complex in regards to suspicious activity.  Officers located several subjects in the area and upon identifying the subject, located Cody Rink who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for the Morgan City Police Department.  Rink, upon his arrest was also found to possess suspected synthetic marijuana and was additionally charge.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Tanya Naverre was located at a Highway 182 restaurant and charged with a warrant dated October 2014 for theft of food items from a local restaurant.  Naverre was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and released after posting a cash bond.

     Andrea Wilson was located at a Belanger St. residence and placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in the City Court of Morgan City on a previous charge of Disturbing the Peace.  Wilson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Mevline Thibodeaux was transported to the Morgan City Police Department jail facility from L.E.C. in Centerville where he was booked on outstanding warrants for the City Court of Morgan City.  He was booked and incarcerated.

     Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 location in regards to a suspicious subject.  Officers arrived and located a female who appeared highly intoxicated.  Officers attempts to locate a safe location for the female, identified as Chantel Burke were unsuccessful.  Burke was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

     James Griffin was located on Highway 182 in Morgan City and placed under arrest on several outstanding warrants for the City Court of Morgan City.  Griffin was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Red LIght Violation; Possession of Synthetic Marijuana (1st Offense)

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a red light in the area of  Hwy 90 and Brashear Ave. and stopped the vehicle to investigate.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as Britain Boudreaux.  As officers approached the vehicle, they observed suspected synthetic marijuana inside the vehicle.  The driver, Boudreaux admitted to the use of the substance and was arrested.  The evidence was recovered and Boudreaux was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Warrant: Armed Robbery

     Anthony Watson Jr. was located in the Brownell Homes area and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.  The warrant was a result of an investigation by Morgan City Police Detectives into a robbery which was reported on September 22, 2014.   Anthony Watson Jr. was identified by witnesses as a suspect in the robbery of another on September 19, 2014 in which the victim was robbed of jewelry valued at $300.00 while the offender was armed with a pipe or stick.   The incident, which was reported to have occurred on Barrow St. in Morgan City was then reported to the police.  Watson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated ; Improper Lane Usage

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Front St. and stopped the vehicle after it was observed to cross the center line several times.  The driver, Jacob Breaux was identified and according to reports appeared to be impaired.  Breaux was given a field sobriety test which he failed and arrested.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .162g%.  He was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Armed Robbery-2 counts

     The Morgan City Police Department received a complaint of an armed robbery which was reported at Cajun Country Lounge located on Victor II Blvd.  Officers were provided a description by witnesses and advised that the subject had threatened to shoot a witness as the witness attempted to follow the subject.  Officers set up a perimeter in the area.  Officers located a suspect, identified as Bryant Francois in the area who was positively identified by victims as the suspect in the robbery.  During the investigation, officers recovered the weapon and the items taken.  Francois was arrested.  According to witnesses and victim, the subject entered the lounge, produced a handgun in the robbery.  He was also accused of a robbery and theft of a bystander in the lounge as well and additionally charged.  Bryant Francois was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated with no bond yet set.

      Officers were dispatched to the area of Federal Ave. and Levee Rd. in regards to a vehicle being driven with narcotics inside.  Officers arrived in the area and located the vehicle as described.  The vehicle was found occupied by two adults, Marquis Green, Casey Chenevert and a 16 year old female juvenle.  During the investigation, a responsible parent for the juvenile was summoned to the scene.  During the investigation and subsequent search, officers located suspected marijuana in various locations inside the vehicle.  The subjects were questioned but denied knowledge of the substance.  They were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.  The juvenile was released to a parent pending court proceedings.

     Officers detained a vehicle on Highway 182 in regards to an investigation and located the driver Kathy Schaub who was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license.  Schaub was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Obstruction of Justice, Resisting an Officer; Criminal Trespass; Theft of Goods (Value $202.96)

     Officers were dispatched to a Marguerite St. pharmacy in regards to a male subject who fled the store, setting off the security alarm at the front door.  Officers arrived to investigate and through video surveillence video identified the subject as Richard Giroir, the same subject who was a suspect in a theft which was reported on 09/28/2014 at the same pharmacy.  Officer went to a residence in the 600 block of Arenz St. to locate the subject.  Upon speaking with the resident, Giroir fled the residence into the rear yard area.  Officers pursued the subject and observed him attempting discard an item in his hand.  The subject refused to stop and was eventually captured and detained.  The subject, Giroir admitted to officers that he discarded a pipe, commonly used to consume crack cocaine as officers approached.  During the investigation, Giroir denied any theft from the pharmacy on this date but admitted to officers that he did indeed commit the theft on 09/28/2014 of items with a total value of $202.96.  The over-the-counter type items were not recovered. The owner of the residence in which Giroir was captured advised he was not authorized to enter onto the property and was therefore trespassing. Giroir was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Donald Bosarge was located on Terrebone St. and placed under arrest for outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department.  The lease merchandise was identified as a roofing nailer valued at $250.00 which was not returned to a Highway 182 Hardware store. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Officers were dispatched to Teche Regional in regards to a subject causing a disturbance.  Officers arrived and located Harold Henderson in the emergency room treatment area yellling and causing a disturbance.  Henderson was ordered to leave the premises several times which he eventually complied.  A short time later, Henderson returned to the area, again causing a disturbance and was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
