Officers investigating a disturbance on Egle St. encountered Samantha Williams who was identified as the subject causing the disturbance in front of the residence. Officer also learned of an outstanding warrant for the St. Mary Parish and attempted to place Williams under arrest. Williams reportedly resisted officers attempts and struck an officer in an effort to resist arrest. She was arrested and transported ot the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Improper LIghting; Possession of Schedule I CDS- Marijuana

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle with improper lighting on Sixth St. and stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver, The driver, Jerri Champine, according to reports appeared extremely nervous when speaking with the officer. During the stop, Champine was found to be in possession of a Schedule I CDs-Marijuana located inside a cigarette pack and was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Officer were disptched to a Highway 182 convenience store regarding a disturbance. Officers located a female subject, Nancy Sandoval who was impaired and reportedly causing the disturbance was given several opportunities to leave the premises but refused. She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer observed a subject, Cheyenne Percle operating a vehicle in the area of Grizzaffi St. with a suspended drivers license and stopped the subject to investigate. Percle was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants. During the stop, Percle was found to be in possession of items of drug paraphernalia which were also seized. Cheyenne Percle Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers were dispatched to a Levee Rd. residence regarding the use of synthetic marijuana. Officers arrived and learned during the investigation that a male subject, Demetrus Owens and a male Angel Brouillet were alleged to have encouraged a 14 year old female juvenile to consume synthetic marijuana which they reportedly supplied to the juvenile. Both subjects were located and based on statements provided, were arrested and charged with contributing to the deliquency of that juvenile and abuse ot toxic vapors. Both Demetrus Owens and Angel Brouillet were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

Officers were dispatched to a Front St. residence regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived to investigate and encounted Amanda Bordelon who, according to reports, was screaming profanities and hollering in front of the residence causing others to investigate. The officers encouraged Bordelon to cease, however she continued her actions and was placed under arrest. She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and released after posting a cash bond.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated (2nd Offense); Operating a Vehicle with a Suspended Drivers License

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle being driven by Joseph Andrews in the area of Roderick St. Andrews was known by the officer to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license. As officers attempted to stop Andrews, he pulled into a residence and quickly exited the vehicle. Andrews was detained and, according to reports, found to be in an impaired condition. Andrews admitted to officers that he was aware that he was operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license and was attempting to evade the officer. Andrews was provided a field sobriety test in which he did poorly on. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .97g%. He was booked and incarcerated.

Officers responded to a disturbance complaint at an Arenz St. residence where they located Ashley Aucoin who was wanted on warrants for the City Court of Morgan City. Aucoin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Third St. and Railroad Ave. and arrived to investigate. Witnesses advised that a male subject was observed screaming profanities in the area, causing people to exit their homes to investigate. The subject, Verret was reported as telling parents to bring their kids in the house if they didn't want them to hear it. Verret was located on Union St. by officers and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 convenience store regarding a theft. Officers arrived and learned that a customer, William King had attempted to purchase alcoholic beverage and other items totalling $18.21. The clerk advised that the subject attempted to purchase the items with a check but was advised by the clerk that the check was not valid. The clerk advised that the subject ignored the clerk and took the items, leaving the store. Officers located the subject, William King at his residence and after questioning, placed King under arrest for the theft. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charge: Attemtped Second Degree Murder

Officers were dispatched to a Grizzaffi St. residence regarding a subject who had been stabbed. Officers arrived and located a male victim with a wound to his abdomen. Medical personel were summoned to assist the victim while officers investigated the incident. Officers learned during the investigation that the victim and another subject, Jair Razo had been involved in a verbal altercation earlier. It was learned that the verbal altercation turned physical. Razo, according to the victim physically attacked the victim, striking the victim in the abdomen area with a knife, causing the wound. Officers located Jair Razo, who after being advised of his Miranda Rights admitted to stabbing the victim during the disturbance. Officers conducted a search and located the weapon involved and seized it as evidence. Jair Razo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. The victim was transported to a medical facility where he was listed in good condition.
