               Possession of Sch I CDS-MDMA (Ecstasy)

Jesse Hart, 26 years of age, Address-Grandwood Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/28/2019 @ 3:35 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana
               Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

   An officer in the area of Catherine St. observed a vehicle with obstructed window tint on the driver and front passenger side windows. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Samantha Rowell was asked to provide a valid driver’s license. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Jesse Hart and he was asked to exit the vehicle. During the course of the traffic stop, Rowel was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, a pill identified as MDMA (Ecstasy) and drug paraphernalia. Hart was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both Rowell and Hart were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Robert M. Clause, 18 years of age, Address-Lesley Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/28/2019 @ 7:45 pm.

Charge: Simple Battery

   Officers responded to a business on Victor II Blvd. regarding a disturbance. Officers arrived and Robert Clause was identified as the suspect involved in the disturbance. According to reports, witnesses stated that Clause approached one of employees, when that employee tried to walked away from Clause, he struck the employee in the facial area.  Clause was located in the parking lot of the business. Clause was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

  Cassie Rankin was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Rankin was booked and incarcerated.

Marcus T. Gray, 34 years of age, Address-Greenwood St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/24/2019 @ 9:55 am.

Charge: Warrant=Theft under $1000.00

   Marcus Gray was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident in July 2018 that alleged Gray committed a theft. Gray was booked and incarcerated.

Pearl M. Ross, 34 years of age, Address-North Verret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/24/2019 @ 12:26 pm.

    Officers responded to the parking lot of a business on LA Hwy 70 regarding an individual asleep inside a vehicle. Officers arrived and made contact with the individual identified as Pearl Ross. Reports indicate that while officers were speaking to Ross, they noticed several baggies of suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia near where Ross was sitting. Ross was placed under arrest and transported the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Stephen P. Rodriguez, 34 years of age, Address-Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/24/2019 @ 9:50 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Discharging a Firearm in City Limits

   Stephen Rodriguez was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident on January 14^th that alleged Rodriguez discharged a firearm within the city limits. Rodriguez was booked and incarcerated.

Dustin J. Ferguson, 26 years of age, Address- Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested 01/25/2019 @ 4:35 am.

Charge: Warrant-Criminal Conspiracy to Introduce Contraband

   Dustin Ferguson was located on Front St. near Everett St. and was placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident on January 2^nd that alleged Ferguson tried to introduce contraband into the Morgan City Jail Facility. Ferguson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department received information regarding possible on-line exploitation of minors.  Morgan City Police Department detectives recovered information indicating that person(s) were actively utilizing the internet and social media to solicit a 15 year old minor for sex.  During the investigation, investigators were able to recover evidence, identify, and secure arrest warrants for the individuals.  During the operation, the individuals were arrested after they allegedly made an attempt to rendezvous and make contact with the victim, but instead, were met by investigators.  The Morgan City Department has actively participated and contributed to the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and will continue to monitor, identify, investigate and pursue those who utilize the internet to exploit children.  Chief James F. Blair and the Morgan City Police Department will remain committed to protecting our children and our community from internet based predators.  If anyone has any information that may assist the Morgan City Police Department and this community in this goal, please contact the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division @ (985) 380-4605, their local or Parish law enforcement agency or the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.       On January 18, 2019 @ 2:45pm, investigators located and intercepted a white male, Jeremy M. Harrison, 40 years of age, Address-Saturn Rd. Bayou Vista, Louisiana. He was arrested on a warrant for: Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.  Harrison was arrested after traveling to a Morgan City location to reportedly meet the juvenile but instead, was arrested by detectives.  He was booked and incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail facility. 
    
On January 22, 2019 @ 5:04pom, investigators located and intercepted a black male subject, Caffery Joseph Williams, 53 years of age, Address-Garber Street Morgan City, Louisiana.  He was arrested on a warrant for: Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile.  Williams was arrested after traveling to a Morgan City location to reportedly meet a juvenile but instead, was arrested by detectives.  He was booked and incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail facility.

Crystal G. Thompson, 40 years of age, Address-Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2019 @ 11:00 am.

Charge: Warrant-Theft under $1000.00
                Warrant-Access Device Fraud under $1000.00

  Crystal Thompson, who is already an inmate at the Morgan City Jail facility was booked on additional charges. In December 2018 it is alleged that Thompson committed a theft at a residence. Also, while incarcerated on January 14^th Thompson allegedly use another inmate’s pin number to make phone calls. Thompson continues to be incarcerated.

Robert Mulligan, 66 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 01/25/2019 @ 3:58 pm.

    Robert Mulligan was located on Fifth St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident on January 23^rd where it is alleged Mulligan burglarized a vehicle. Mulligan was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Titana R. Francois, 21 years of age, Address-St. Nicholas St. Jeanerette, La. was arrested on 01/25/2019 @ 6:04 pm.

Charge: Home Invasion
               Aggravated Battery

     Officers responded to a residence on Apple St. regarding a disturbance. When officers arrived Titana Francois was identified as the suspect involved in the disturbance. According to reports, Francois entered the home without permission and struck the victim several times on the head with an object.  An ambulance service was contacted for the victim and the victim was eventually transported to a medical facility for treatment. Officers were able to locate Francois inside of a residence on Orange St. where she was placed under arrest and transported the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Joseph J. Julien, 52 years of age, Address-Arizona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/26/2019 @ 12:45 am.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 2^nd Offense
               Driving Under Suspension
               General Speed Law

        An officer in the area of Railroad Ave. and Aycock St. observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Joseph Julien was asked to produce a valid driver’s license.  Reports indicate that Julien appeared intoxicated. A computer check revealed that Julien’s driver’s license was suspended. Julien was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which he performed poorly. Julien was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the department, Julien submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Julien results yielded a .108g% of blood alcohol content. Records indicate that Julien had a prior driving while intoxicated charge within the last ten years. Julien was booked and incarcerated.

Mason W. Mabry, 21 years of age, Address-St. Landry Lane Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/26/2019 @ 3:21 am.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 1^st Offense
                Careless Operation

   Officers responded to LA Hwy 182 near Myrtle St. regarding a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane. Officers were able to locate the vehicle on LA Hwy 182 and Everett St. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Mason Mabry was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. According to reports, Mabry appeared intoxicated. Mabry was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test and he performed poorly. Mabry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the department, Mabry submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Mabry results yielded a .192g% of blood alcohol content. Mabry was booked and incarcerated.

Storm A. Griffin, 19 years of age, Address-Oregon St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 01/26/2019 @ 7:03 pm.

   An officer in the area of Federal Ave and Freret St. observed a vehicle fail to use its turn signal, while turning onto Federal Ave. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Storm Griffin was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate while the officer was speaking with Griffin, the officer noticed an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle. During the course of the traffic stop, Griffin was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Griffin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   Ra’Sean Augman was located on Gen. Hodges St. and placed under arrest on an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in August 2018 where it is alleged that Augman committed a battery on the victim in such a matter the victim loss consciousness. Augman was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   An officer in the area of Marguerite St. observed a vehicle with only one functioning tail light. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Kira Guillory was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. During the course of the traffic stop, Guillory was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Guillory was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

       Officers responded to a residence on Seventh St. regarding a disturbance. Officers arrived and Jacob Klenert was identified as the suspect causing the disturbance. Reports indicate that Klenert came to the home, damaged the front door and caused a disturbance with the victim. Officers made contact with Klenert inside the home and Klenert appeared intoxicated. Klenert was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

     An officer in the area of LA Hwy 70 near Brashear Ave. observed a vehicle parked partially in the roadway.  The officer approached the vehicle and noticed two individuals asleep inside. The officer made contact with the driver identified as Angel Jimenez. Jimenez was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed Jimenez never had a driver’s license.  The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Bailon Rico. The officer also noticed open containers of alcohol. Both Jimenez and Rico were place under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

      Jeremy Watson was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle crash in the area of LA Hwy 70 near the US Hwy 90 up ramp. No injuries were reported at the time of the crash. A computer check of Watson’s driver’s license revealed that his license was suspended. Also, the vehicle Watson was driving did not have valid insurance. Watson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Irvian A. Singleton III, 19 years of age, Address-Cypress St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/22/2019 @ 12:14 pm.

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery

   Officers responded to a business on Brashear Ave. in regards to domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim. According to reports, the victim stated that she and her boyfriend, Irvian Singleton had gotten into a verbal altercation, but later it became physical when Singleton committed a battery on her. Officers observed marks on the victim consistent with her statement. Singleton was located on Cypress St. and placed under arrest. Singleton was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
