Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 02/05/2019:
Tarell R. Boulanger, 27 years of age, Address-Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/05/2019 @ 12:16 pm.
Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Trial (5cts)
Warrant-Failure to Appear for Arraignment
Tarell Boulanger was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court and the Thibodeaux Police Department. Boulanger was booked and incarcerated.
Terrell V. Bullock, 25 years of age, Address-Degravelle Rd. Amelia, La. was arrested on 02/05/20019 @ 1:12 pm.
Charge: Theft under $1000.00
Officers responded to a business on Eighth St. regarding a theft. Officers arrived and management provided video surveillance of the theft. From the surveillance, officers were able to identify the suspect as Terrell Bullock. Officers located Bullock on Cottonwood St. Reports indicate that Bullock admitted to the theft. Bullock was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Storm A. Griffin, 18 years of age, Address-Oregon St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 02/05/2015 @ 1:54 pm.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
An officer on Martin Luther King Blvd. observed a vehicle with improper window tint. The officer also did a computer check of the license plate and it was determined that the plate on the vehicle had been switched. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the driver, Storm Griffin was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. The passenger of the vehicle, Casey Chenevert was asked to exit the vehicle. A warrant check revealed that Chenevert held active warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. Chennevert was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Griffin and Chenevert were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Craig O. Robinson, 31 years of age, Address- Mayon St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/05/2019 @ 2:30 pm.

Obstruction of Justice-Tampering with Evidence
Craig Robinson was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop on Mallard St. When officers made contact with Robinson, he had placed what appeared to be marijuana into his mouth. Officers also located suspected marijuana and synthetic marijuana in the area of the front passenger seat where Robinson was sitting. Robinson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Roland Loupe, 32 years of age, Address-Sandra Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/05/2019 @ 8:00 pm.
Charge: Driving While Intoxicated Child Endangerment

Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle
Driving on Protection Levee
Officers responded to a single vehicle crash on LA Hwy 70. Officers arrived and made contact with the driver of the vehicle identified as Roland Loupe. According to reports, Loupe stated that he was driving on the levee where his vehicle became stuck. At some point, his vehicle slide into the wooded area. Reports also indicate that Loupe appeared intoxicated. Officers noticed a small child inside the vehicle along with an open container of an alcoholic beverage. Loupe was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test in which he performed poorly. Loupe was placed under arrest. The child was picked up by a guardian. Loupe was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Loupe results yielded a .136g% of blood alcohol content. Loupe was booked and incarcerated.
Daeon D. Johnson, 28 years of age, Address-Second St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 02/05/2019 @ 9:44 pm.

Officers responded to a residence on Apple St. regarding a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and Daeon Johnson was identified as the suspect involved in the disturbance. Reports indicate that Johnson choked one of the victims and struck a 14 year old in the facial area. Both victims had cuts and bruises consistent with their statements. Officers located Johnson inside the home where he began to yell and use profanities. Johnson resisted officers, but was later subdued and placed under arrest. Johnson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
