Travis Cain, 2420 Pecan St., 27 years of age, Address-Pecan St., Morgan City, La., Arrested on 2/22/2019 @ 12:00 P.M. Charge: Disturbing the Peace Fighting
Officer was dispatched to a fight on Tupelo St. near Levee Rd. Officers arrived and identified Marc Rhodes and Travis Cain as the subjects involved in a fistic encounter. Rhodes and Cain were charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Rhodes was additionally charged with simple battery for striking a separate victim on scene. It was learned the City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for Rhodes. Rhodes and Cain were both placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Depart for booking and incarceration.
Scott Russell Barr, 36 years of age, Address-State HWY 71, Bay City, Tx., was arrested on 2/22/2019 @ 1:42 P.M. Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear (2 Counts)

An officer on patrol came into contact with Barron Bowie on Railroad Ave. Upon conducted a warrants check it was learned Barron Bowie had active warrants through 16

Marquil Singleton, 19 years of age, Address-Tiffany St., Patterson, La., was arrested on 2/23/2019 @ 10:13 A.M. Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
Officers came into contacted with Marquil Singleton during a traffic stop on Sixth St. It was learned the City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for Failure to Appear to Pay Probation Fee. He was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers observed a vehicle driving reckless manner on Poncio St with an obstructed driver’s window. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Brennan N. Skinner. Upon running a computer check of his driver’s license it was learned it was suspended. Skinner was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Appala Raju Allipilli, 42 years of age, Address-Egle St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/23/2019 @ 5:21 P.M. Charge: Entry on or Remaining after Forbidden
Officers were dispatched to an Egle St. address in reference to a complaint. Upon officers arrival, they came into contact with Appala R Allipilla who had been previously barred from the property by the landlord. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
John Clark, 52 years of age, Address-Willard St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 2/23/2019 @ 5:48 P.M. Charge: Battery of a Dating Partner
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Willard St. in reference to a disturbance. Upon officers arriving on the scene, the complainant identified John Clark the subject committing a battery on the victim. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on Brashear Ave. for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Andy J. Maise. During the traffic stop officers located suspected Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Sergio Guerra Contreras, 40 years of age, Address-Cynthia St., Amelia, La. was arrested on 2/23/2019 @ 7:35 P.M. Charge: Two Headlamps Required

Officers conducted a traffic stop on HWY 182 for a traffic violation. The driver was identified, Sergio Guerra Contreras. Upon running a computer check on his driver’s license it was learned this license was suspended. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Jorge Luis De La Cruz-Tolentino, 20 years of age, Address- West Syls, Amelia, La., was arrested on 2/23/2019 @ 7:53 P.M. Charge: Possession of Cocaine
Officers of the Morgan City Police Department observed Jorge Luis De La Cruz-Tolentino acting suspiciously in a parking lot on Myrtle St. During officers investigation they located suspected cocaine in his possession. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Cheryle Lynn Lumpkin, 37 years of age, Address-Cypremort Rd, Jeanerette, La., was arrested on 2/24/2019 @ 2:04 A.M. Charge: Possession of Marijuana
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Ninth St. and identified Cheryle Lumpkin as a passenger in the vehicle. During the traffic stop officers located suspected marijuana in her possession. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on LA 70. Officers identified as James Tumbleson. Officers detected an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Officers observed an open alcoholic beverage inside his vehicle. He was given a field sobriety test which he did poorly on. He was placed under arrested and transported to Morgan City Police Department. Once at Morgan City Police Department he submitted to an intoxilyzer test and gave a sample of .091g%. Tumbleson was booked and incarcerated.
