The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 09/28/2015:


Christopher J. Fazzio, 25 years of age, Address- Houma, La. was arrested on 09/28/2015 @ 8:25 am. 


Charge:  Speeding School Zone 28/15
                Expired Driver's License
                Possession of Sch I Marijuana
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                Possession of Sch II Oxycodone

     A patrol officer in the area of Sixth and Marguerite St. observed a vehicle traveling faster than the speed posted for the school zone area, which was 15 mph. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver, Christopher Fazzio was asked to produce valid driver's license.  A computer check revealed that Fazzio's driver's license was expired. During the course of the investigation, Fazzio gave the officer consent to search his vehicle. Items located in the vehicle were suspected marijuana, a pill identified as Oxycodone and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. Fazzio was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Sidney Brown, 56 years of age, Address- Birch St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/28/2015 @ 10:15 am.


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine

     Sidney Brown turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Brown was booked and incarcerated.

Terrilyn Short, 39 years of age, Address- Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/28/2015 @ 3:14 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Principal to Theft of Goods (2cts)

     Terrilyn Short was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held. The warrant stems from an incident in August of 2015, which alleges Short assisted in a theft that occured at a local business on LA Hwy 182. Short was booked and incarcerated.

Jennifer A. Clark, 36 years of age, Address- Chennault St. Morgan City, La. was arrested 09/28/2015 @ 5:35 pm.


Charge:  Simple Criminal Damge Property
                Aggravated Battery (Domestic)

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Chennault St. in regards to a domestic disturbance.  When officers arrived, the victim stated that he and his girlfriend, Jennifer Clark had gotten into a verbal altercation. During the altercation, Clark grabbed the victim's cell phone and struck him with it.  The victim also claimed that Clark damaged some of his belongings. Officers located Clark in the residence. According to reports, Clark did admit to officers that she struck the victim with the cell phone and damaged his belongings. Clark was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan 
City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

James Jones, 30 years of age, Address- B. Williams St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/28/2015 @ 8:24 pm. 


Charge: Warrant- Probation Violation
               Warrant- Simple Battery 

     James Jones was located in the area of Veteren's Blvd. A local warrants check was done on Jones and it was determined he held an active warrant for Sixth Ward City Court. Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incareration.

Carlos A. Alas, 29 years of age, Address-Egle Mill Lane, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/29/2015 @ 6:52 am. 


Charge:  Two Headlights Required
                Driver Must Be Licensed

     A patrol officer in the area of LA Hwy 182 and East Blvd. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Carlos Alas was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Alas did not have a driver's license. Alas was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Aketa Francis, 23 years of age, Address-Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/24/2015 @ 8:00am

Charges: Hold for St. Mary Parish 
                 Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine (Contempt of Court) 4 Counts
                 Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
                 Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-Simple Battery


    Aketa Francis was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Dept. in regards to active warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. Francis was booked into the Morgan City Police Department and incarcerated.

Mong Duval, 29 years of age, Address - Williams Street, Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/24/2015 @ 09:33 A.M.

Charges: Simple Battery

     Mong Duval who was incarcerated inside the Morgan City Police Deptartment Jail Facility was accused of comitting a battery on a fellow inmate.  According to reports evidence of the battery was substantiated and Duval was booked on the caharge of battery.

Katelyn L. Kruebbe, 20 years of age, Address - Lee Street, Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/25/2015 @ 11:27 P.M. 


Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Possession of Marijuana
                 Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law

Samuel D. Rebardi 19 years of age, Address - Lee Street, Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/25/2015 @ 11:30 P.M.

Charge: Violation of Protective Orders


     An officer with the Morgan City Police Department observed two subjects coming out of a low light area between two buildings at local recreational complex. Officer came into contact with Katelyn Kruebbe who according to reports appeared nervous. Kruebbe gave the officer consent to look into her purse when the officer located suspected marijuana and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. The area Kruebbe was located was in the area of a local church. Kruebbe was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.  During the course of the investigation Officer learned that Samuel Rebardi had a protective order prohibiting him from being around Kruebee.  Rebardi was arrested and also transported to the Morgan City Police Department.

Ariel J. Popote, 23 years of age, Address - Trevino Street Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 2:25 P.M.


Charge: Warrant - Failure to Pay Fine on the charge of Possession of Marijuana

   Ariel J. Popote was transported from the Berwick Police Dept. to the Morgan City Police Dept. in reference to an active warrant held for Popote by the 6th Ward City Court.  Popote was booked on the warrant and incarcerated.

Brad J. Derouen, 25 years of age, Addreses - South Road, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 3:00 P.M. 


Charge: Warrant - Failure to Pay Fine on the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Brad J. Derouen was transported from the Berwick Police Dept. to the Morgan City Police Dept. in reference to an active warrant held by the 6th Ward City Court. Derouen was booked and incarcerated.

Robert Narcisse, 52 years of age, Address: Grove Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 4:15 P.M. 


Charge: Contempt of Court

     Robert Narcisse was placed under arrest in the City Court of Morgan City for appearing in an intoxicated condition. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for booking and incarceration.

Jennifer Lazano, 36 years of age, Address - Brownsville, Texas was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 4:15 P.M. 


Charge: Warrant - Domestic Abuse Battery
                Warrant - Criminal Damage to Property


     Jennifer Lazano was arrested in the City Court of Morgan City for active warrants held for her by  the Morgan City Police Dept.. The warrants stem from and incident on 09/19/2015 which alleges Laranzo was involved in a disturbance and commmited a battery on an individual. Laranzo was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for booking and incarceration.

Clarence Francois, 48 years of age, Address -  Duke Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 4:15 P.M. 


Charge: Contempt of Court


     Clarence Francois was placed under arrest in the City Court of Morgan City for failure to complete community service requirments. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. for booking and incarceration.

Minerva Almazan, 59 years of age, Address - Mallard Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 5:28 P.M. 


Charge: Resisting an Officer
               Disturbing the Peace
               Simple Battery


     Officer with the Morgan City Police Dept. were dispatched to Mallard Street in regards to a disturbance.  Officers were told that Minerva Almazan was involved in a verbal altercation with one of her neighbors. According to reports Almazan is alleged to have committed a battery on an individual. During the course of the investigation it was learned that Almazan had given officers a false name. Almazan was placed under arrest, transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Aubaray White, 25 years of age, Address - Dallas, Texas was arrested on 09/23/2015 @ 2:21 A.M.


Charge: Possession of Marijuana
               Possesion of Drug Paraphernalia
               License Plate Lamps Required
     An officer patroling the area of Brashear Ave. near Fifth St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted at which time the driver was identified as Aubaray White. White was asked to produce a valid drivers license. During the course of the investigation the officer noticed a smell of suspected marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. White gave officers consent to search the vehicle at which time officers located suspected marijuana and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. White was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ameedah Charles, 30 years of age, Address - Eleventh Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/22/2015 @ 9:39 P.M.


Charge: Warrant - Simple Battery

     Ameedah Charles was located on Eleventh St. A local warrants check was conducted at which time it was determined that the Morgan City Police Dept. held an active warrant for her arrest. Charles was placed under arrest and transpoted to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Vanessa L. Clulee, 27 years of age, Address- Todd Lane Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/25/2015 @ 8:52 am.

                Warrant- Failure to Appear- Improper Lighting

     Officers were dispatched to the area of LA Hwy 182 and Grizzaffi St. in regards to a vehicle crash. One of the driver involved in the crash, Vanessa Clulee was found to have a suspended driver's license. Clulee also held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Clulee was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Tyler M. Porche, 29 years of age, Address- Youngs Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/26/2015 @ 2:07 am. 


Charge:  Driving Under Suspension
                Texting While Driving
                 Careless Operation

     Officers were dispatched to the area of LA Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. in regards to a vehicle crash. Reports indicated, driver, Tyler Porche, admitted to officers that he was texting while driving and ran off the roadway. A computer check of Porche's driver's license revealed that his license was under suspension. Porche was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Adrian L. Billiot, 33 years of age, Address-Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/26/2015 @ 1:46 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear (3cts)
                Warrant- Contempt of Court

     Adrian Billiot was located at her residence and placed under arrest for active warrants she held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Billiot was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Alejandro Guiterrez, 29 years of age, Address- Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/26/2015 @ 4:10 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Probation Violation
    Alejandro Guiterrez was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail, when an outstanding warrant from the Sixth Ward City Court was discovered. Guiterrez was booked and remains incarcerated.

Johnny DeBerry, 60 years of age, Address- Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/27/2015 @ 7:40 am.


Charge:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated

     Officers were dispatched to the area of Front St. near Fisherman's Wharf in regards to an intoxicated individual. Officers arrived and made contact with Johnny DeBerry. Officers observed an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from DeBerry's breath. DeBerry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Dorothy Johnson, 68 years of age, Address - Willow Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/23/2015 @ 12:51 P.M. 


Charge: Simple Assault

     Officers responded to Willow Street in regards to a domestic disturance. When officers arrived the victim stated that he and Dorothy Johnson were involved in a verbal altercation. According to reports officers heard Johnson threaten the victim with a weapon. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kyle Q. Rhett, 23 years of age, Address -  Gen McArthur Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/23/2015 @ 3:21 P.M.


Charges: Driving Under Suspension
                 Speeding in a School Zone 30/15


     Officer was patrolling the area of Brashear Ave. and observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit during school zone hours. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Kyle Q. Rhett. Rhett was asked to produce a valid drivers license. A computer check determined the Rhett's drivers license was suspended. Rhett was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Quintin Douglas, 24 years of age, Address -  Tiffany Street, Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/24/2015 @ 1:47 A.M.


Charge: Warrant on Failure to Pay Fine 

     Officers came into contact with Quintin Douglas on Hwy 90. A local warrants check was condcuted and it was determined that Douglas had an active warrant in the 6th Ward City Court. Douglas was placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Blaine A. Scully, 42 years of age, Address- Cypress St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/21/2015 @ 8:52 am.

                Warrant-Disturbing the Peace

      Blaine Scully was transported from the Assumption Parish Dentention Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrants he held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants stem from an incident on September 20, 2015, in which, Scully allegedly threatened an individual with a weapon at a local business. Scully was booked and incarcerated.

Ted A. Smith, 46 years of age, Address-Dawn Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/21/2015 @ 6:56 pm.


Charge:  Disturbing the Peace
                Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

   Officers were dispatched to the area of Everett and First St. in regards to a disturbance.  When officers arrived, they were told that Ted Smith had threaten an individual with a firearm. A description of Smith was given out and officers located Smith on First St. According to reports, Smith admitted that he was at the location.  Officers did find a firearm in Smith's vehicle. Smith was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Danielle Ballance, 39 years of age, Address- Bernice St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/21/2015 @ 6:57 pm.

     Danielle Ballance turned herself in to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants she held for Sixth Ward City Court. Ballance was booked and incarcerated.

Rene Landry, 57 years of age, Address-Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/21/2015 @ 10:00 pm.

                Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                Battery on an Police Officer

    Officers were dispatched to a residence on Brashear Ave in regards to a disturbance.  When officers arrived, reports indicated that Rene Landry was irate, using profanties and appeared intoxicated.  While officers were talking to Landry, he committed a battery on one of the officers. Landry was then placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
