Bryan Wright, 41 years of age, Address- Gray, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 1:30 am. 


Charge:  Remaining After Being Forbidden
                Resisting an Officer
                Warrant- Failure to Appear-Possession of Marijuana (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
                Warrant- Failure to Appear Aggravated Battery (St. Mary  Parish Sheriff's Office)

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Gen. Hodges St. in regards to removing an individual from the residence. When officers arrived, the homeowner wanted Bryan Wright removed from the property. Officers located Wright outside of the residence. A warrants check was done on Wright and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. While trying to place Wright into handcuffs, he began to jerk away from the officer, but was subdued. Wright was then tranported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Terrell V. Bullock, 22 years of age, Address- Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 10:29 am.


Charge:  Warrant: Canal Knowledge of a Juvenile

     Terrell Bullock was located in the area of Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. Bullock was placed under arrest for an active warrant held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an investigation that began on October 20, 2015, which alleges that Bullock had sexual contact with a 13 year old female. Bullock was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Charles Walker, 32 years of age, Address- Filmore St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/02/2015 @ 9:59 am.


Charge:  Warrant- Simple Battery
                Warrant- Failure to Appear-Criminal Damage to Property
                Warrant- Failure to Pay Probation Fees

    Charles Walker was transported from the Assumption Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the Morgan City Police Department and the Sixth Ward City Court. Walker was booked and incarcerated.

John P, May, 25 years of age, Address-West Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/03/2015 @ 1:40 am.


Charge:  Brake Lights Required
                Warrant- Failure to Appear to Pay Restitution (St. Mary Parish Sherriff's Office)

     A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, John May was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A warrants check revealed that May held an active warrant for the Sixteenth Judicial District Court. May was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Frank R Johnson, 49 years of age, Address: Louisiana St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/29/2015 @ 10:50 A.M. 


Charges:  Warrant: 6th Ward Court-Probation Violation
                  Warrant: Failure to Pay Probation Fee
                  Warrant: Failure to Appear to Pay Fines 
     On officer was patrolling the area of Fifth Street near Louisiana Street when Frank R Johnson was observed in the area. A warrants check revealed that the Morgan City Police Dept. held arrest warrants for Johnson. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

David B Morgan, 34 years of age, Address: Pine Hill, Iowa, La. was arrested on 10/29/2015 @ 4:19 P.M. 


Charges: Warrant - First Degree Rape
                 Warrant-  6th Ward Court -Failure to Appear for Disturbing the Peace 

     David B Morgan was transported to the Morgan City Police Department Jail from Iowa, La. in regard to active arrest warrants for Morgan held by Morgan City Police Department.  One of these warrants stemed from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Detective Division based on a complaint reported in August 2015.  It is alleged that David Morgan raped female victims, currently ages 13 and 9 years of age on multiple occasions since 2009.  The investigation is continuing. Morgan was booked into the Morgan CIty Police Department Jail and remains incarcerated on a $100,000 bond.

Kenneth M Rhyne, 38 years of age, Address: Shane St. Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 10/27/2015 @ 12:27 P.M. 


Charge:  Possession of Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance (buprenorphine)

     Officers responded to a local business on Hwy 182 in regard to a subject sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle. Officers arrived when contact was made with Kenneth M Rhyne who was identified as the occupant who was reported to be asleep in the vehicle. Reports indicated that while speaking with officers, Rhyen appeared to be very nervous. Officers were assited by the Morgan City Police Dept. K-9 which resulted in a search of the vehicle being conducted.  During the search officers located what was believed to be Buprenorphine inside of the vehicle. Rhyne was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Travis D Lamar, 33 years of age, Address: Palm St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 10/27/2015 @ 2:54 P.M.

     Travis D Lamar was turned over to the Morgan City Police Department by the 6th Ward City Court in regard to warrants for for his arrest held by Morgan City Police.  Lamar was booked into the Morgan City Police Jail and incarcerated.

Bradley R Mamieson, 20 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/27/2015 @ 3:16 P.M.

     Officers responded to an apartment building on Hwy 182 in regard to information of illegal drug activity inside one of  the apartments. The officers arrived when contact was made with the two occupants of the residence who were identified as Bradley R Jamieson and Jinny L Mengay. Reports indicated that officers observed suspect marijuana along with drug paraphernalia in plain view. A search was the residence was conducted when officers located more suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both Jamieson and Menegay were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where they were booked and incarcerated.

Melanie A Ruffin, 44 years of age, Address: Canary St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/27/2015 @ 4:57 P.M.

DeShawn Sylvester, 17 years of age, Address-Short St, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/30/2015 @ 5:30 pm.


Charge:  Armed Robbery 
                Aggravated Burglary
                Possession of Sch II Crack Cocaine
                Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Violent Crime or CDS

    The Morgan City Police Department recevied a complaint of an armed robbery at approximately 3:30 pm around the 700 block of Federal Ave. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who described the suspect and gave information on the items taken. During the course of  the investigation, information was received that the possible suspect was in a vehicle on Brashear Ave.  A vehicle matching the description given was stopped in the area of Brashear Ave and Victor II Blvd.  Officers located DeShawn Sylvester, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Sylvester also matched the description given by the victim and was in possession of the items that were allegedly taken. Officers also located a firearm and suspected crack cocaine in Sylvester's possession.  Sylvester was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Oscar Hernandez-Perez, 24 years of age, Address- River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 10/31/2015 @ 3:38 am. 


Charge:  Failure to Signal
                Possession of Sch I Marijuana

     A patrol officer in the area of LA Hwy 182 observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal while turning on to Everett St. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Oscar Hernandez-Perez was asked to produce a valid driver's license. While speaking to Perez, the officer could spell an odor of suspected marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer asked for consent to pat Perez down, which was given and the officer located suspected marijuana on Perez. Perez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Marie A. Franklin, 28 years of age, Address- Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/31/2015 @ 12:21 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines (3cts) 

    Marie Franklin was located at her residence. A warrants check was done Franklin and it was determined that she held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Franklin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Nsikan M. St. Martin, 32 years of age, Address- Marquis Manor Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/01/2015 @ 11:49 am.

                Posssession of Sch IV (Alprazolam)
                Possession of Sch II (Mepheylphenidate)
                Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of CDS
                Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Marquis Manor in regards to removing an individual.  When officers arrived, they spoke to Nsikan St. Martin, who wanted Alisa Marshall removed from her residence. While talking to officers, St. Martin informed them that Marshall had suspected marijuana in her vehicle. Officers were able to speak to Marshall and informed her of what was alledged.  Marshall gave officers consent to search her vehicle and officers located suspected Marijuana and items used to smoke illegal narcotics in the vehicle, After finding the items, Marshall stated that suspected marijuana could be located in the bedroom of St. Martin. Officers again spoke to St. Martin  and told her what Marshall had stated. St. Martin gave officer consent to search her bedroom. Officers located suspected marijuana, pills identified as Alprazolam and Mephelyllphenidate and items used to smoke illegal narcotics.  Also, several firearms were located in the bedroom. Both Marshall and St. Martin were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. Both were later released on bail.

Frank Singleton, 32 years of age, Address- Oak St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/01/2015 @ 9:50 pm.


Charge:  Failure to Signal
                Driving Under Suspension

    A patrol officer in the area of Everett St. observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Frank Singleton was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Singleton's driver's license was under suspension. Singleton was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. He was later released on bail.

Randy Jackson, 36 years of age, Address-Jennie Drive Morgan City,LA was arrested on October 28, 2015 @ 5:30 pm


Charges: Warrant FTA for Restitution hearing-City Court Morgan City
     On October 28, 2015 Randy Jackson was located by officers with the Morgan City Police Department.  Officers knew of a warrant for the arrest of Jackson, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked on warrants for City Court of Morgan City for FTA for Restitution hearing.

Kendell Johnson, 30 years of age, Address-Belanger St. Morgan City was arrested on October 28, 2015 @10:23 pm

Charges: Stop Sign Violation 
                 No Drivers License
                 Resisting an Officer by False Information 
                 Warrant: 16 JDC FTA- Armed Robbery
     On October 28, 2015 a patrolling officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Sixth St. and Brashear Ave. after seeing a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign.  The officer identified the driver of the vehicle as Christopher Johnson.  The officer could not locate a valid drivers license for Johnson and placed him under arrest.  After being transported to the Morgan City Police Department it was learned that the subject was actually Kendell Johnson.  A warrants check showed Kendell was wanted by the 16th Judicial District for Failure to Appear for Armed Robbery.  Johnson was additionally charge with Resisting an Officer.

Jesse Hart, 23 years of age, Address-Franklin,La was arrested on October 28, 2015 @ 10:54 pm.

Charge: Warrant: FTA for Resisting an Officer-City Court      Jesse Hart came to the Morgan City Police Department to turned himself in on a warrant.  Hart was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail for FTA for City Court of Morgan City .

      An officer was patrolling the area of Railroad Ave. near First Street when a vehicle was observed with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Benjamin Blackman. Blackman was asked to produce a valide drivers lincese but could not. A drivers license check revealed that Blackman had a suspended drivers license. Blackman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lee P Pierce, 32 years of age, Address: Egle Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/23/2015 @ 10:09 P.M.

     An officer conducted a traffic stop due to a traffic infraction on Brashear Ave. near 7th Street. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Lee P Pierce. A warrants check revealed that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's officer held several active arrest warrants for Pierce. Pierce was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jaboby Phillips, 19 years of age, Address: Poplar Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/23/105 @ 11:06 P.M. 


Charge: Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling

     Officers responded to an address on Ditch Ave. in regard to subejcts being inside the residence without the owners permission. The call was made due to the owner being out of town but that the owner had received information that several people were inside the residnece. The officers arrived on scene and located Jacoby  Phillips and Jayme R Wininger in the company of a juvenile.  The officer spoke with them about the incident and according to reports it was learned that Phillips, Wininger and the juvenile did go into the residence. Phillips and Wininger were placed under and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where they were booked and incarcerated.

Ricky D. Allemond, 55 years of age, Address: Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 10/24/2015 @ 2:39 A.M. 


Charges: Distubing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers were responded to an address on Hwy 182 in regard to a disturbance. The officer made contact with Ricky D Allemond who apeared to be the victim of a battery. Allemond told the officer that he and Paul M Daigle had gotten into an argument when Daigle struck Allemond.  Officers spoke with Daigle who was located in the area.  It was believed that both Allemond and Daigle had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Through the course of the investigation reports indicated that there was evidence of the battery and that Daigle and Allemond were heard arguing by witnesses.  A warrants check revealed tha the Morgan City Police Dept. held an active arrest warrant for Daigle. Daigle along with Allemond were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where were booked and incarcerated.

Michelle L Eunice, 39 years of age, Address: Tiffany St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 10/24/2015 @ 4:45 P.M.


Charges: Engaging in a Fistic Encounter

     An officer responded to and address on Youngs Rd. in regard to a distubance involving an altercation. Officers located Michelle L Eunice along with another subect.  According to reports Eunice, the subject and witnesses made statements which indicated that Eunice and the subject had been involved in a fight. Reports indicated  that the subject had sustained injuries as a result of the altercation and had to seek medical treatment. Eunice was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where she was booked and incarcerated.

Valentin Serna-Espinoza, 25 years of age, Address: Front Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/24/2015 @ 10:23 P.M. 


Charges:  No Drivers License
                  Obstructing Public Passages

     An officer was patrolling the area of Brashear Ave. near 7th St. when a vehicle was observed stoppped faceing west bound in the east bound lane blocking the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Valentin Serna-Espinoza. A drivers license check revealed that Serna-Espinoza did not have a valid driver license.  Serna-Espinoza was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Orlando G Flores, 35 years of age, Address: Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/24/2015 @ 10:40 P.M. 


Charges: Driving with a Suspended Drivers License
                 Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle



     An officer responded to an address on Railroad Ave. in regard to a traffic crash.  The officer located one of the vehicles involved which appeared to have struck a parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Orlando G Flores. A drivers license check revealed that Fores had a suspended drivers license. According to reports an open container of alcohol was also located inside of the vehicle. Flores was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.

Junior Morales, 20 years of age, Address: Spruce Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 10/26/2015 @ 12:20 A.M. 


Charge:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated

     An officer responded to a local business on Hwy 182 in regard to an underage subject attempting to purchase alcohol. The officer arrived and made contact with Junior Morales. Reports indicated that Morales addmitted to attempting to purchase alcohol. During the course of the investigation it was believed that Morales had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Morales was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Dept. where he was booked and incarcerated.
