Arrest Report 02/17/2014

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning February 14, 2013:

Kayla L. Comeaux, 26 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/14/2014 @ 1:53pm

Charge:  Patteson Police Department-Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-No Insurance; Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-No Drivers License; Warrant: Failure to Pay Fine-No License Plate

     Kayla Comeaux was located at a Highway 182 business and placed under arrest for outstanding warrants for the Patterson Police Department.  She was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

 

Angel H. Montoya, 24 years of age, Address-Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/14/2014 @ 6:39pm

Charge: No Drivers License; Careless Operation

          Angel Montoya was arrested after officers responded to a vehicle crash on Victor II Blvd. in Morgan City.  Montoya, who was identified as a driver involved in the crash was found to be operating a vehicle with no drivers license.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Both Taylor Murphy and Rochelle Suire were arrested after officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a Chestnut Drive address.  Officers arrived and learned that both Suire and Murphy were involved in a fistic encounter prior to officers arrival at the scene which caused a disturbance in the area.  Both were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

     Jessica Ross and Jody Cubbege were arrested after the Morgan City Police Department was dispatched to a disturbance at the corner of Sixth St. and Fig St. in Morgan City.  Officers learned that the subjects had become involved in an altercation which turned physical.  The disturbance was observed by residents in the area.  The subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/13/2014:

 

Kristen S. Evans, 21 years of age, Address-Joseph St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/13/2014 @ 4:59pm

Charge: Theft ($127.72)

      Officers were summoned to a Hwy 182 department store in regards to an employee making fraudulent charges at a cash register.  Officers located Kristen Evans, a store clerk and learned from management that Evans was alleged to have made fraudulent transactions and had committed the theft of funds valued at $127.72.  Evans was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated. She was later released after posting a cash bond. 

 

Dane A. Farrington, 31 years of age, Address-Keith St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/13/2014 @ 5:41pm

Charge: Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense

     Officers in the area of Keith St., while conducting an investigation observed two subjecs run from the scene and detained the subjects after a short foot pursuit.  One subject, identified as Dane Farrington was found to be in possession of a Schedule I CDs-Marijuana and Paraphernalia.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Shanice L. Marshall, 21 years of age, Address-Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/13/2014 @ 9:36pm

Charge: Possession of Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; No LIcense Plate Illumination

      Both Cregory Johnson and Shanice Marshall were arrested after an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Florence St. and Highway 182.  During the investigation, and acting on suspicion, offices went to the subjects residence and received consent to search.  During that search, marijuana and items of paraphernalia were located.  Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. 

 

 Wolfe Levy, 32 years of age, Address-Onstead St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/14/2014 @ 3:03am

Charge: Warrant: Unauthorized Entry (Franklin PD); Warrant: Simple Criminal Damage

     Levy was located and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for Franklin Police Department and the Morgan City Police Department.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 02/12/2014:

Ted P. Richard Jr., 32 years of age, Address-Schriever, La. was arrested on 02/12/2014 @ 1:02pm

Charge: Warrant: Second Degree Battery

     Ted Richard Jr. turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department to be booked on an outstanding warrant which stemmed from an alleged incident which occurred in Morgan City in February 2014.  Richard was accused of striking another subject causing injuries.  He was booked into the Morgan City Police Department where he was released after posting a cash bond of $2,500.00.

 

Casey N. Francois, 28 years of age, Address-Mallard St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 02/12/2014 @ 6:12pm

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery

     Casey Francois was arrested after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Mallard St. residence.  It was learned that Francois had committed a battery on a male subject at that residence causing minor injuries.  Casey Francois was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
