Dakota A. Daigle, 22 years of age, Address-Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2015 @ 2:00 pm.


Charge:  Warrant-Failure to Appear to Pay Fine
                 Warrant- Contempt of Court

     Dakota Daigle was transported from the Iberia Parish Sheriff Office to the Morgan City Police Department for outstanding warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Daigle was booked and incarcerated.

Sade M. Singleton, 26 years of age, Address-Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2015  @ 3:46 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Theft Under $750.00 (5cts totaling $745.00)

     Sade Singleton was located in the area of Federal Ave. and Egle St. Singleton was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an investigation that began in April 2015, in which Singleton was an employee of a local business and according to reports, cash transactions were collected, but not recorded on the register.  Singleton was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Davey W. Gober, 57 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested 06/04/2015 @ 4:50 pm.


Charge:  Taking Contraband into a Penal Institution 

     Davey Gober was transported to the Morgan City Police Department from the Morgan City Sixth Ward City Court to serve time for unrelated charges. Officers searched Gober and located a pill identified as Tramadol. Gober was booked on the additional charge and was incarcerated.

Shaddrick J. Neddie, 39 years of age, Address-James St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/04/2015 @ 8:46 pm.


Charge: Two Headlights Required
                Driving Under Suspension
                 Warrant-Harris County Sheriff's Officer (Probation Violation)
     A patrolling officer in the area of Hwy 182 near the Greenwood Overpass noticed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Shaddrick Neddie was asked to produce a valid driver's license.  During the course of the investigation , it was determined that Neddie's driver's license was under suspension.  Also, a computer check showed that Neddie held an outstanding warrant from the Harris County Sheriff's Office.  Neddie was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

     David Darcey was located in the City Court building where he was placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court of Morgan City.  He was booked and incarcerated.

Nathaniel A. Rollins, 19 years of age, Address-Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/02/2015 @ 3:49pm

                Possession of Schedule I CDS-Synthetic Marijuana
                Hold for St. Mary Parish

     Nathaniel Rollins was transported to the Morgan City Police Department's jail facility from the Law Enforcement Center correctional facility in Centerville where he was booked on an outstanding warrant.  Correctional officers discovered that Rollins had entered the jail faciltiy in the possession of suspected synthetic marijuana which was concealed within his clothing.  The substance was retrieved.  Rollins was arrested, booked and incarcerated.

Jalen D. Allen, 22 years of age, Address-Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/02/2015 @ 6:55pm

Charge: Possession of Marijuana-2nd Offense
               Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
               Possession of Schedule I CDS-MDMA(Ecstasy) with the Intent to Distribute
               Failue to Signal Turn
               Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law-Drug Free Zone
               Resisting an Officer
               Hold for Probation and Parole

     Narcotics Detectives of the Morgan City Police Department with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Narcotics unit were patrolling the high crime areas of Morgan City and observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn at the intersection of Fourth St. and Freret St.  The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Brashear Ave. and Fourth St. The driver, later identified as Jalen Allen was observed by officers attempting to conceal an object inside the vehicle.  Allen exited the vehicle and began to shout at officers and taking a threatening stance and attempting to pull away from investigators.  Officers had to restrain Allen.  Officers observed suspected marijuana inside the vehicle and continued the investigation.  Investigators, upon searching the vehicle discovered items of paraphernalia along with a celophane bag which contained (34) thirty four pills of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy).  Jelen Allen was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where it was discovered that Allen was presently serving a probation period for a narcotics violation.  The subject was also detained for Probation and Parole authorities.  Allen was booked and remains incarcerated.

Aaron Simoneaux, 26 years of age, Address-Hwy 70 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/02/2015 @ 7:01pm

Charge: Simple Battery

     Officers dispatched to a disturbance at 501 Roderick St. were advised by victim and witnesses that a subject, Aaron Simoneaux had went to a residence, confronting the resident and striking the victim.  Officers located Aaron Simoneaux returned to the location to speak with officers and was subsequently arrested.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Paris N. Bias, 23 years of age, Address- Lafayette, La. was arrested on 05/29/2015 @ 6:11 am.


Charge: Warrant-Issuing Worthless Checks (2cts)

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Third St., they made contact with Paris Bias and a local warrants check was done. It was determined that she held active warrants for the Sixteenth Judicial Court.  Bias was placed under arrest transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.  She was later released on bond.

Stacy A. Benandi, 48 years of age, Address-Mount St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/29/2015 @ 12:10 pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace by Alarming the Public

    Officers were dispatched to a local business on Railroad Ave. in regards to a disturbance. Officers learned that a subject had come to the business very upset which alarmed the employees.  The subject had left the area prior to officers arrival, but a description of the subject and the vehicle he was driving was given out to officers.  Officers located the subject, Stacy Benandi in the area of Myrtle St. and Youngs Rd. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Christopher S. Webb, 46 years of age, Address- St. Michael St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/29/2015 @ 3:17 pm.


Charge: Warrant- Distribution of Cocain (Patterson PD)
               Warrant- Criminal Neglect of Family
               Warrant- Failure to Appear (2cts)

     Christopher Webb was located by officers in the area of Kentucky St. Webb held active warrants for the Patterson Police Department and the Sixteenth Judicial Court. Webb was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

David A. Turner, 24 years of age, Address-Houma, La. was arrested on 05/29/2015 @ 6:00 pm.


Charge: Warrant-Contempt of Court

     David Turner turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Turner was booked and incarcerated.

Jamichael D. Bowie, 25 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/30/2015 @ 10:43 am.

     A patrolling officer in the area of Fifth and Freret St. noticed a vehicle with improper lighting.  A traffic stop was conducted. A local warrants check was done of the passenger, Jamichael Bowie and it was determined that he held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Bowie was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Deondre F. Walker, 18 years of age, Address-Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/30/2015 @ 10:31 pm.

    Officers were dispatched to a residence on Railroad Ave. in regards to loud music. Officers made contact with Deondre Walker and Donnell Williams sitting in a vehicle. Inside the vehicle officers located suspected marijuana. Both Walker and Williams was placed under arrest and tranported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Derek J. Pellegrin, 18 years of age, Address-Houma, La. was arrested on 05/31/2015 @ 9:48 am.

    An officer in the area of Hwy 90 westbound, noticed a vehicle with the driver not wearing a seat belt. A traffic stop was conducted.  The driver, Derek Pellegrin was asked to produce a valid driver's license.  Officer also noticed the passenger, male juvenile in the vehicle.  During the course of the investigation, officers located suspected marijuana in the vehicle and items used to smoke marijuana. Pellegrin and the juvenile were both placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department.  Pellegrin was booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was booked and released to a guardian.

Stephen C. Barbour, 30 years of age, Address-Jones St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/31/2015 2 3:15 pm. 


Charge: Theft of Good ( $17.82)


     Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket on Hwy 182 in regards to a shoplifter.  Officers were told the subject had left store and was running in the area of Florence St. A description of the subject was given to officers by management.  Officers located the subject, Stephen Barbour and was found in possession of items belonging to the supermarket.  Barbour was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Crytal G. Thompson, 36 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/01/2015 @ 12:15 pm.


Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear for Drug Court (3cts)

   A patrolling officer noticed a vehicle make a improper turn in the area of LA 182 near Myrtle St. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was asked to produce  a valid driver's license.  The officer also ran a local warrants check on the passenger of the vehicle, Crystal Johnson.  It was determined that she held active warrants for the Sixteenth Judicial Court.  Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Byron J. Mcgraw, 43 years of age, Address-Pecos St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/03/2015 @ 3:08 pm.


Charge:  Violation of Protective Order
                 Criminal Trespass

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Pecos St. in regards to someone violating of a protective order.  When officers arrived, a witness stated that Bryron Mcgraw was found inside the residence.  Officers did locate Mcgraw in the residence and asked him if he was aware of the protection order against him. According to reports, Mcgraw stated he was aware of the order. Mcgraw was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Sable A. Leal, 25 years of age, Address-Gibson, La. was arrested on 06/03/2015 @ 3:43 pm.


Charges:  Warrant - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                   Warrant - Possession of CDS Schedule IV (Diazepan)
                   Warrant- Possession of CDS Schedule I (Heroin)

     Sable Leal was transported from the Patterson Police Department for outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department.  The warrants stem from an investigation on April 7, 2015, at a local motel where suspected herion and Diazepan was found in the room Leal was occupying. Leal was booked and incarcerated.

Donterrieaux Bell, 25 years of age, Address-Belle Rose, La. was arrested on 06/01/2015 @ 6:29 am.


Charge:  Driving Under Suspension
                Window Tint Violation 
                No Proof of Registration

     A patrolling officicer in the area of Marguerite and Sixth St. observed a vehicle with improper window tint.  The officer stopped the vehicle to investigate.  The driver, Donterrieaux Bell was asked to produce a valid driver's license.  It was determined that Bell's driver's license was under suspension and he could not provide the proper registration for the vehicle. Bell was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. He was later released on bond.

Derrick J. Batiste, 27 years of age, Adrress- Grove St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/01/2015 @ 11:18 am. 


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Comply with Terms and Conditions of Drug Court
                  Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine

     Derrick Batiste turned himself into the Morgan City Police Department for outstanding warrants he held for the 16th Judicial Court and the 6th Ward City Court. Batiste was booked and incarcerated.

Terrell Irvin, 17 years of age, Address- Oak St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/01/2015 @ 2:01 pm.


Charge: Simple Battery

     Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Sixth St, in regards to a disturbance. Officers were informed that Terrell Irvin had commited a battery on another person. According to reports, Irvin and another subject had gotten into a verbal altercation that had turned physical.  Irvin was located in the area, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
