Officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth St. in regards to a hit and run vehicle crash. When officers arrived in the area, witnesses stated that they heard a crash and observed a truck fleeing the area with a trash can stuck underneath the vehicle. After getting the description of the vehicle, officers searched the area and located the vehicle in the area of Seventh St. and Ditch Ave. Officers made contact with driver, Heath Loupe and according to reports, Loupe admitted to crashing into the vehicles and hitting the garbage can. Loupe was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A patrolling officer was advised of a vehicle accident in the area of LA 182 and Cottonwood St. When the officer arrived, the owner of one of the vehicles stated that she was traveling west on LA 182 when the other vehicle involved pulled in front of her crashing into the front of her vehicle. The driver of that vehicle continued traveling west. A witness stated that the vehicle was parked on Sandra St. A short time later, the driver of the vehicle came back to the scene. The driver, Shakettia Skinner was asked to provide a valid driver's license and prooper paperwork for the vehicle.. According to reports, Skinner stated she left the scene because she did not have her driver's license. Skinner was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and later released on bond.

Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket on LA 182 in regards to a customer who had destroyed some property. When officers arrived, management stated that Paul Lavergne had removed the heads of some shrimp and placed the heads back into the cooler. Management stated that it was not store policy to remove the heads of the shrimp and the value of the items he destoryed totaled $17.00. Lavergne was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and later released on bond.

Officers working the Lake End Park area observed two subjects engaged in a fistic encounter. Officers were able to break the subjects up and according to reports, both appeared intoxicated. Both Monte Davis and Dale Crouch were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Egle St. in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, the complainant stated that her daughters had gotten into a verbal alteration. A local warrants check was done on both subjects and it was learned that Bobby Scully held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Egle St. in reference to a male subject carrying a sledge hammer. When officers arrived, a witness stated that a male subject went to the residence and busted the windshield of a vehicle with a sledge hammer. A description of the subject was given and that the subject was heading west on Egle St. Officers were able to locate the subject, Leo Dore on Marshall St. near Federal Ave. According to reports, Dore stated that he went to the residence and damaged the windshield of his ex-girlfriend's car with a sledge hammer. Officers also noticed that Dore appeared intoxicated. Dore was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Bush St. in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, the complaintant stated that her husband was very intoxicated. She also stated that he threw a pot that hit her juvenile son on his leg. Complainant stated that her husband, David Blair had fallen during the disturbance causing a laceration on Blair's head. Officers located Blair in the residence and he appeared to be intoxicated, Officers asked Blair to explain what had a occured, but he refused to answer any question. Blair was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
