Antonio M. Campbell, 27 years of age, Address-Canary St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/26/2015 @ 3:56 pm.


Charge: Driving Under Suspension 
               Failure to Signal

     A patrol officer in the area of Sixth St. and Brashear Ave. observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal. A vehicle stop was conducted. Driver, Antonio Campbell was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check determined that Campbell's driver's license was under suspension. Campbell was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Irvin Thomas, 50 years of age, Address-Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2015 @ 7:56 am.


Charge:  No Driver's License
                Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
                No Seat Belt

     A patrolling offiicer in the area of LA 182 near Federal Ave., noticed a vehicle with a child unrestrained in the rear of the vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was asked to give a valid driver's license.  During the course of the investigation, it was determine that the driver, Irvin Thomas had given officers a false name. When questioned about his identity, he admitted he had given a false name and did not have a driver's license.  Thomas was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Cory Chapman, 49 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 05/21/2015 @ 11:23 am.


Charges: Warrant- Failure to Appear 
                 Warrant- Theft under $750.00, Criminal Trespassing
                  Resisting an Officer

     Cory Chapman was located in the area of Railroad Ave. and Mount St. Officers was aware of active warrants on Chapman. According to reports, Chapman tried to flee from officers, but was subdued.  Chapman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jana N. Jones, 39 years of age, Address-Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2015 @ 11:30 am.


Charge: Theft of Goods ($8.95)

     Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket on LA 182 in regards to a shoplifter. When officers arrived, managment stated that a female, Jana Jones had placed items in her purse and tried to leave the store without paying. According to reports, Jones did admit to officers that she had placed the items inside of her purse and did not intend to pay for them.  Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jonathan P. Wiggins, 28 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2015 @ 1:03 pm. 


Charge: Bank Fraud

     Officers were dispatched to a local bank in regards to possible fraud.  An employee of the bank stated to officers that Jonathan Wiggins had come into the bank to cash a check from a local business. The employee contacted the bank and the owner of the buisness stated that no check was ever written to Wiggins.  Officer made contact with Wiggins in the bank and was asked about the check.  According to reports, Wiggins stated the check was written to him for work he had completed. Wiggins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Quincy J. Johnson, 21 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/21/2015 @ 2:38 pm.


Charge: Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines (3 cts)
               Warrant- Possession of Stolen Things
               Warrant- Contempt of Court

    Quincy Johnson was arrested by the Patterson Police Departmen and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants held for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Johnson was booked and incarcerated.

Fabiola Quintanilla, 23 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 9:52 am.

                Warrant- Improper Backing

     A patrolling officer in the area of Levee Rd. observed a vehicle with an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Fabiola Quintanilla was asked to produce a valid driver's license.  A computer check on Quintanilla's license was done and it was determined that her driver's license was under suspension. Quintanilla also held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Quintanilla was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Gerald Jones, 40 years of age, Address-Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 12:00 pm.


Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Probation Fee

     Gerald Jones was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department Jail, when an active warrant from the Sixth Ward City Court was filed.  Jones was booked and continues to be incarcerated.

Angela Curtis, 28 years of age, Address- Chauvin St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 1:30 pm.

    Angela Curtis turned herself into the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants held for the 16th Judical Court (Drug Court). Curtis also had active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Curtis was booked and incarcerated.

Cynthia Daigle, 48 years of age, Address- Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 11:32 pm.

Valane Villarreal, 48 years of age, Address-Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 11:32 pm.


Charge: Possession of Sch l Marijuana
               Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law (Drug Free Zone)

     The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division along with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division excuted a search warrant on a Brashear Ave. residence. When officers entered the residence they located Rene Landry, Valane Villarreal and Cynthia Daigle. Landry and Daigle stated that they both lived at the residence.  While there officers located a large amount of suspected marijuana in the residence and items used to smoke and package marijuana.  According to reports, Villarreal stated that she had come to the residence to purchase mariijuana. Officers located several firearms and currency associated with the sell of illegal narcotics.  All subjects were charged with the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law (Drug Free Zone) because the residence is within 2000 feet of a elementary school.  All subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Shannon Nash, 31 years of age, Address-Ellis St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/22/2015 @ 7:34 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Contempt of Court

     Shannon Nash was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department Jail, when a warrant from the Sixth Ward City Court was filed for her arrest.  Nash was booked and continues to be incarcerated.

Heath A. Loupe, 18 years of age, Address-Maple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/23/2015 @ 7:06 am.


Charge: Hit & Run Driving
               Careless Operation
               No Driver's License on Person
               Simple Criminal Damage to Property

     Officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth St. in regards to a hit and run vehicle crash.  When officers arrived in the area, witnesses stated that they heard a crash and observed a truck fleeing the area with a trash can stuck underneath the vehicle. After getting the description of the vehicle, officers searched the area and located the vehicle in the area of Seventh St. and Ditch Ave.   Officers made contact with driver, Heath Loupe and according to reports, Loupe admitted to crashing into the vehicles and hitting the garbage can. Loupe was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Shakettia Skinner, 24 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/23/2015 @ 1:17 pm.


Charge:  Hit & Run Driving
                Careless Operation
     A patrolling officer was advised of a vehicle accident in the area of LA 182 and Cottonwood St. When the officer arrived, the owner of one of the vehicles stated that she was traveling west on LA 182 when the other vehicle involved pulled in front of her crashing into the front of her vehicle.  The driver of that vehicle continued traveling west.  A witness stated that the vehicle was parked on Sandra St. A short time later, the driver of the vehicle came back to the scene.  The driver, Shakettia Skinner was asked to provide a valid driver's license and prooper paperwork for the vehicle..  According to reports, Skinner stated she left the scene because she did not have her driver's license.  Skinner was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and later released on bond.

Lakendrick C. Chambers, 25 years of age, Address-Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/23/2015 @ 2:37 pm.


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear (2cts)

    Lakendrick Chambers was arrested by the Berwick Police Department and was transported to the Morgan City Police Department.  Chambers held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Chambers was booked and incarcerated.

Paul B. Lavergne, 51 years of age, Address-Canal Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/23/2015 @ 6:20 pm.


Charge: Simple Criminal Damage to Prooperty (under $750.00)

     Officers were dispatched to a local supermarket  on LA 182 in regards to a customer who had destroyed some property.  When officers arrived, management stated that Paul Lavergne had removed the heads of some shrimp and placed the heads back into the cooler.  Management stated that it was not store policy to remove the heads of the shrimp and the value of the items he destoryed totaled $17.00. Lavergne was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and later released on bond.

     Khadijeh Parker turned herself in to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants from the Sixth Ward City Court. Parker was booked and incarcerated.

Monte A. Davis, 43 years of age, Address- Glenwood St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/24/2015 @ 6:25 pm.

Dale J. Crouch, 46 years of age, Address- Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/24/2015 @ 6:25 pm.

     Officers working the Lake End Park area observed two subjects engaged in a fistic encounter.  Officers were able to break the subjects up and according to reports, both appeared intoxicated.  Both Monte Davis and Dale Crouch were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Bobby J. Scully, 33 years of age, Address-Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/24/2015 @ 7:08 pm. 


Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear Theft of Goods

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Egle St. in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, the complainant stated that her daughters had gotten into a verbal alteration.  A local warrants check was done on both subjects and it was learned that Bobby Scully held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Scully was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration,

Leo J. Dore, 42 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/25/2015 @ 8:31 am. 


Charge:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated
                Simple Criminal Damage to Property (value $2000)

    Officers were dispatched to a residence on Egle St. in reference to a male subject carrying a sledge hammer.  When officers arrived, a witness stated that a male subject went to the residence and busted the windshield of a vehicle with a sledge hammer. A description of the subject was given and that the subject was heading west on Egle St. Officers were able to locate the subject, Leo Dore on Marshall St. near Federal Ave.  According to reports, Dore stated that he went to the residence and damaged the windshield of his ex-girlfriend's car with a sledge hammer.  Officers also noticed that Dore appeared intoxicated.  Dore was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

David S. Blair, 38 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/25/2015 @ 6:15 pm.


Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery (3rd Offense) 
                Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Bush St. in regards to a disturbance.  When officers arrived, the complaintant stated that her husband was very intoxicated.  She also stated that he threw a pot that hit her juvenile son on his leg.  Complainant stated that her husband, David Blair had fallen during the disturbance causing a laceration on Blair's head.  Officers located Blair in the residence and he appeared to be intoxicated,  Officers asked Blair to explain what had a occured, but he refused to answer any question.  Blair was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Erika L. Ware, 21 years of age, Address-Francis Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/20/2015 @ 3:13 am.

                Unlawful Purchase of Alcohol Beverage for Persons Under 21
                Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                Poessession of Sch l (Synthetic Marijuana)

     Officers were dispatched to Lake End Park in regards to someone causing a disturbance.  When officers arrived, they spoke to the complainant, who stated that a female was knocking and yelling outside his camper door. Officers were able to locate the female, Erika Ware near the camper.  According to reports, Ware appeared to be intoxicated and stated she and her friend was trying to find a place to hangout.   Officers located the other subject, Ryan Bowman in a vehicle parked next to the camper.  While speaking with Bowman, officers noticed an open can of alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle.  Bowman was asked to produce his identification and it was determined that he was under the age of 21.  He was asked if the open can of alcohol was for him and he stated that it was his alcohol, but was purchased by Ware.  Officers also noticed on the front seat of the vehicle suspected synthetic marijuana. Both Ware and Bowman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Lisa A. Turner, 36 years of age, Address-Franklin, La. was arrested on 05/18/2015 @ 7:56 pm.

     Lisa Turner was transported from the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville, La. to the Morgan City Police Department for outstanding warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court.  Turner was booked and incarcerated.

 Peter E. Grogan, 37 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2015 @ 5:43 am.


Charge: Warrant- Criminal Neglect of Family (2 cts)

     Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Sixth St. in regards to someone being in the complainant's backyard.  When officers arrived, they noticed a subject in the backyard of the residence asleep in a chair. Officers made contact with the subject, Peter Grogan and a local warrants check was done. It was determined that Grogan held active warrants through the Sixteenth Judical Court. Grogan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
