Alesha Vidos Desormeaux, 37 years of age, Address-Burchfield Lane #2, Berwick, La., was arrested on 6/7/2019 @ 8:45 A.M. Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear
Officers came into contact with Alesha V. Desormeaux on 8th St. A warrants check revealed 16th District Court held an active warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Keondra Shanise Clark, 27 years of age, Address-Oak St., Morgan City, La. was arrest on 6/8/2019 @ 9:20 P.M. Charge: Warrants-Failure to Appear (5 Counts)
Keondra S. Clark was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on active warrants held by City Court of Morgan City. He was booked and incarcerated.

Rae Ann Allemand, 36 years of age, Address-Railroad Ave., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 6/8/2019 @ 11:09 P.M. Charge: Possession of Marijuana (1st. Offense)
A patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on HWY 182. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Rudy J. Bazare Jr. along with his passenger Rea A. Allemand. During the traffic stop, Bazare Jr. was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, trazodone hydrochloride, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Officers located suspected marijuana in Rae A. Allemand possession during the traffic stop. Both Bazare Jr. and Allemand were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Taylor Annette Murphy, 24 years of age, Address-Green Leaf Boulevard, Morgan City, La., was arrested on 6/9/2019 @ 9:07 A.M.Charge: Improper Lane Usage

Gavin Paul Bellanger, 27 years of age, Address-Matherene St., Lafitte, La., was arrested on 6/9/2019 @ 9:07 A.M. Charge: Possession of Marijuana
A patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on U.S. 90 and Martin Luther King Blvd. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Taylor A. Murphy and her passenger Gavin P. Bellanger. A warrant check revealed City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for Murphy. During the traffic investigation, Murphy was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and heroin. Gavin P. Bellanger was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Both Murphy and Bellanger were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Claudia Hawkins, 34 years of age, Address-Melanie Lane, Gray, La., was arrested on 6/9/2019 @ 11:06 A.M. Charge: Theft under $1,000.00
Resisting a Police Officer
Officers were called to a local business on Martin Luther King Blvd. in reference to a theft. Upon officers arriving they learned from the complainant a theft in the amount of $100.00 had occurred. During the officer's investigation, they developed Claudia Hawkins as a suspect in the theft. When officers went to place Hawkins under arrest she began to resist officers. She was handcuffed and placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Archie Vinning Jr., 70 years of age, Address-Fig St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 6/9/2019 @ 3:20 P.M. Charge: Warrant- Home Improvement Fraud
Officers came into contact with Archie Vinning Jr. on Fig St. A warrant check confirmed Morgan City Police Department held an active warrant for Home Improvement Fraud. Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department received a complaint on May 6, 2019, in reference to Vining accepting $2,685.00 for a deposit for home repairs. Detectives learned Vining had accepted $2,685.00 as a deposit for remodeling materials. During the investigation, it was learned Vining had accepted the money but never ordered the supplies to complete the remodeling job. He was placed under arrest and transferred to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Matthew Beval Lacy, 35 years of age, Address- Glenwood St., Morgan City, La. was arrested on 6/9/2019 @ 8:23 P.M. Charge: Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Driving While Intoxicated (1st Offense)
Officers responding to a complaint of a reckless driver on HWY 182 located the vehicle in the area of HWY 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd. Officers observed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Matthew B. Lacey. During the traffic stop, the officer suspected driver impairment. He was given a field sobriety test which he did poorly on. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the Morgan City Police Department he refused to give a breath sample. A search warrant was obtained for a blood sample was collected. Results are pending at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab.

An officer on patrol observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Gerson Perez-Cardona. A computer check revealed he did not possess a valid driver's license or valid motor vehicle insurance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

An officer on patrol observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of HWy 182 and Myrtle St. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Joseph L. Jenkins. A computer check revealed his driver's license was under suspension. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Driving While Intoxicated (1st. Offense)
An officer on patrol observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation in the area of HWY 182 and Aycock St. The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Roderic T. Clay. During the traffic stop, the officer suspected driver impairment and conducted a field sobriety test which he performed poorly on. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the Morgan City Police Department, he was given an intoxilyzer test and gave a breath sample of .107g. He was booked and incarcerated.
