Michael Anthony Francois Jr., 34 years of age, Address-Grove St., Morgan City, La., was arrest on 5/10/2019 @ 11:06 P.M.
Charge: Disturbing the Peace
Officers were dispatched to a General McArthur St. residence in reference to a disturbance. When officers arrived they located Michael A. Francois Jr outside the residence causing a disturbance. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Lorman Letrell Skinner, 44 years of age, Address-Cayce St., Franklin, La., was arrest on 5/11/2019 @ 1:21 A.M.

A patrol officer observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop on St. Clair Street. The driver was identified as Lorman L. Skinner and a computer check revealed his driver's license was under suspension. During the traffic investigation, officers located an open container in the vehicle and suspected driver impairment. Skinner was given a Field Sobriety test which he performed poorly on. He was placed under arrest was transferred to a medical facility where he submitted to a blood test for intoxication. The result of the test is pending testing at the Louisiana Crime Lab.
Tremaine O. Batiste, 25 years of age, Address-Ave K, Westwego, La., was arrested on 5/11/2019 @ 8:05 A.M.

A patrol officer conducting a narcotics investigation came into conducted Tremaine O. Batiste in the area of Boman St. During the investigation Batiste was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Tremaine Batiste was also found to be within a drug-free zone
He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop on LA 70. The driver was identified as Celeste L. Lenoir. A computer check revealed her driver's license was under suspension. It also revealed the vehicle had no current motor vehicle insurance and her license plate was expired. The officer observed an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle during the stop. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A patrol officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of HWY 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd. The driver was identified as a 17-year-old juvenile and his passenger as Kaleb Meadows. During the traffic stop, the 17-year-old juvenile and Meadows was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both the Juvenile and Meadows was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.
April M. Phillips, 39 years of age, Address- Lee Charles St., Franklin, La., was arrested on 5/11/2019 @ 11:50 A.M. Charge: Warrant-Simple Battery
April M. Phillips was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant held by Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from a May 6th, 2019 incident where the warrant alleges she committed a battery on another person. He was booked and incarcerated.
James Bennett, 50 years of age, Address-Sixth St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/11/2019 @ 1:07 P.M. Charge: Warrant-Violation of a Protective Order
The Morgan City Police Department received information James Bennett was in the area of HWY 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd. and Berwick Police Department held an active warrant for Violation of a Protective Order. He was located in the area of Grizzaffi St. and Railroad Ave. and a traffic stop was conducted. Bennett was placed under arrest on the active warrant and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking. He was then released to Berwick Police Department.

Appala Raju Allipilli, 43 years of age, Address-Homeless was arrested on 5/12/2019 @ 10:28 A.M. Charge: Remaining after Forbidden
Officers were dispatched to an Egle St. residence in reference Appala r. Allipilli being on the property who was previously barred from the property. When Officer arrived they located him still on the property. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
Amber Nichole Thompson, 33 years of age, Address-Eves St. Jeanerette, La., was arrested on 5/12/2019 @ 11:15 A.M. Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Officers were dispatched to a business on HWY 182 in reference to a person causing a disturbance. When officers arrived they located Amber N. Thomson inside the business causing a disturbance and appeared intoxicated. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Morgan City Police Department received a complaint of a reckless driver on US 90. Officers located the vehicle and observed the vehicle was driving in a reckless manner. Officers conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Renaldo Johnson. During the traffic stop, officers suspected a driver impairment and conducted a Field Sobriety test. Johnson did poorly on the test and was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department. Once at Morgan City Police Department he submitted to an intoxilyzer test and gave a breath sample of .214g%. He was booked and incarcerated.
Donmetric L Singleton, 41 years of age, Address- Arizona St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/12/2019 @ 8:26 P.M. Charge: Contempt of Court
Officers came into contact with Donmetric Singleton on Arizona St. It was learned City Court of Morgan City held an active warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and booked and incarcerated.
Tessie Lynn Toups, 28 years of age, Address- Terrebonne St., Morgan City, La., was arrested on 5/12/2019 @ 10:06 P.M.

Officers came into contact with Tessie L. Toups on Terrebonne St. It was learned Morgan City Police Department held an active warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from December 28th, 2018 complaint where the warrant alleges Toups entered a home of another person and committed a battery. She was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A patrol officer observed a vehicle driving in a reckless manner in the area of Just St. and Allison St. When the officer attempted to make a traffic stop the vehicle accelerated and attempted to elude the officers. The vehicle eventually pulled over and the driver was identified as Marice M. Martin Jr. He was placed under arrest and transported to Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
