MCPD Arrest Report 03/29/2018
Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 50 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 03/28/2018:
Ciara D. Percle, 31 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/28/2018 @ 6:05 a.m.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace
Criminal Damage to Property
Possession of SCH IV CDS (Alprazolam)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Warrant: Probation Violation
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 12/09/2017 (4 counts)
Patrol officers responded to a local Motel in the area of Eighth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Ciara D. Percle was identified. Percle held several active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Percle was found to be in possession of suspected alprazolam and drug paraphernalia and it was learned that she had damaged property belonging to the motel. Percle was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Stacy A. Antoine, 59 years of age, address: Orange St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/28/2018 @ 10:17 a.m.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Teresa Bland, 48 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/28/2018 @ 10:17 a.m.
Charges: Disturbing the Peace by Fighting
Patrol officers responded to the area of Robin St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Stacy A. Antoine and Theresa Bland were identified as the parties involved. According to reports, Antoine and Bland were involved in a fistic encounter. Antoine and Bland were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
Kimberly Mayon, 27 years of age, address: Glenwood St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 03/28/2018 @ 12:09 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: Failure to Return Leased Merchandise
Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 05/10/2017
Kimberly Mayon was located and arrested in the area of Railroad Ave. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police and 16th Judicial Court. The warrant from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on November 04, 2016 when they responded to a local business in the area of Seventh St. in regards to a subject failing to return leased merchandise. Kimberly Mayon was identified as the suspect in the investigation. Mayon allegedly leased merchandise from the business and failed to make any payments or return the merchandise. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Mayon’s arrest. Mayon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Charges: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. According to reports, officers attempted to initiate a stop on the vehicle when the vehicle fled. The driver operated the vehicle in an erratic manner passing vehicles and placing other motorists in harm’s way. The vehicle fled to the area of Young's road when the driver exited the vehicle with the vehicle still in motion. The vehicle continued to travel striking a tree where it came to rest. The driver fled on foot into a wooded area when officers gave chase. The subject resisted officers but was eventually taken into custody. Jovan M. Mosley was identified. A firearm was located in the vicinity of Mosely which he is prohibiting from possessing due to him being a convicted felon. Mosely’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and the vehicle he was operating was not properly registered nor had a proper license plate. Mosely was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Mosely was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charges: Possession of Stolen Things $5,000 to $25,000

Charges: Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. A stop was initiated when Kenneth P. Jones was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Amber A. Chatagnier was identified as an occupant but initially provided officers with a false name. According to reports, the vehicle was found to be reported stolen through the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Jones’ Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Jones was found to hold active arrest warrants through the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Chatagnier was found to hold active arrest warrants through the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and Houma Police Department. Jones and Chatagnier were both arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
