Dylan Bryant, 19  years of age, Address: Daphne St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 02/17/2017 @ 2:57am.

Charges:  Under Age Driving While Intoxicated
                  Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle

     Officers responded to the area of Hwy 182 near David Drive in regard to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. The officers were told that the vehicle left the area traveling east on Hwy 182 when officers located a vehicle matching the description moments later on Hwy 182 near Grizzaffi Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Dylan Bryant.  Officer spoke with several witnesses to the incident who told officers the vehicle was obsedrved being operated in a reckless manner in the parking lot of a convenience store on Hwy 182 near David Drive nearly striking several vehicles. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that Bryant was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Bryant was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for further chemical testing where Bryant submitted to the Intozilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .145 grams percent. Bryant was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

 Demarcus S Roy, 24 years of age, Address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/14/2017 @ 5:59am.

Charges:  Domestic Abuse Battery
                  Domestic Abuse Child-Endangerment
                  Possession of Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance (Suboxone)
                  Possession of Marijuana With the Intent to Distribute
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws (Drug Free Zone)

     Officers responded to a residence on Mallard Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived when they located a female who appeared to have been the victim of a battery. The officers were told that the female and Demarcus S Roy were involved in an argument when Roy committed a battery on the female while in the presence of a male child three years of age. Reports indicate that the female ran to a neighbor's residence to contact police when Roy fled the area on foot. A description was provided when officers located Roy in the area moments later. During an investigation, reports indicated that evidence of the alleged battery was uncovered by the officers. Roy was placed under arrest and a search conducted when officers located suspected marijuana which was believed to be packaged for distribution along with suspected suboxone according to reports. The location of the incidence was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws.  Roy was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jean P A Templet, 22 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/09/2017 @ 7:59pm.

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana
                 Stop Sign Violation

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Arenz Street and Sixth Street.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Jean P A Templet. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that Templet's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that he may be involved in illegal drug activity.  A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana. Templet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Angilee Williams, 53 years of age, Address: Louisiana St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/09/2017 @ 10:55pm.

Charge:  Possession of Cocaine

     A patrolling officer observed a female traveling in the area of Railroad Avenue and Ditch Street with no front or rear reflectors.  As the officer approached, the female began to peddle faster as if to avoid the officer.  An investigational stop was conducted and the female identified as Angilee Williams. During the investigation, reports indicated that the officer observed Williams discard a something onto the ground.  The item was retrieved by the officer and was identified as suspected crack cocaine. Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Quincy J Johnson, 23 years of age, Address: Orange St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 8:47am.

Charges:  Simple Burglary
                  Obstruction of Justice
                  Possession of Marijuana
                  Possession of Burglary Tools
                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Officers responded to the area of Sixth Street near Willard Street in regard to a vehicle burglary. Reports indicate that an off duty Morgan City Police Sergeant had observed a subject known to the sergeant as Quincy J Johnson who appeared to be committing a vehicle burglary. The off duty sergeant directed responding officers to Johnson's location at which time Johnson was located and detained for further investigation. During an investigation, reports indicated that evidence of the alleged vehicle burglary was uncovered by the officers. During a search, officers located tools on Johnson which officers believed Johnson utilized for the burglary. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where a more thorough search was conducted. During this search, officer located suspected marijuana on Johnson which Johnson attempted to place into mouth to discard the evidence according to reports.  The location of the incident Johnson was arrested was within the area of a drug free zone. A warrants check revealed that Johnson had an active arrest warrant through the 16th Judicial District Court. Johnson was booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Joseph Saldivar, 23 years of age, Address: Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 1:37pm.

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Redwood Street and Victor II Blvd. A vehicle stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Joseph Saldivar.  During a traffic investigation, reports indicate it was learned that the vehicle did not have state required insurance, Saldivar had a suspended drivers license and failed to change his residential address on the license.  Saldivar was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Djuandranique D Diggs, 26 years of age, Address: Collie St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 2:00pm.

Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/07/2017 for Possession of Marijuana

     Djuandranique D Diggs who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail was booked on an additional warrant obtained by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and remains incarcerated.

Matilda Amos, 23 years of age, Address: Pond Drive Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 4:05pm.

Charges:  Public Intimidation of an Officer
                 Criminal Damage to Property
                  Negligent Injuring

     A correctional officer responded to a cell in the Morgan City Jail in regard to  what sounded like a disturbance. The officer identified Matilda Amos as an inmate involved in the disturbance when the officer attempted to calm Amos. Reports indicate that Amos began yelling at the officer threatening the officer.  Amos then caused damage to a toilet which caused flooding in the cell which later resulted in another inmate being injured according to reports.  Matilda was additionally charged and remains incarcerated.

Garrido A Martinez, 48 years of age, Address: Spruce Street Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 8:56pm.

                 No Drivers License

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Hwy La. 70 near Victor II Blvd with improper rear lights. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Garrido A Martinez.  A drivers license check revealed that Martinez did not have a valid driver license. Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ronald B Jones, 53 years of age, Address: Arcemont Ln. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/16/2017 for 1:13am.

                  Driving While Intoxicated (3rd Offense)

          A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a red light at the intersection Hwy 182 at Myrtle Street.  As the officer approached,  the vehicle was observed traveling out of its designated lane of travel.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Ronald B Jones. During a traffic stop, reports indicated that Jones did not have a valid driver license and that Jones was suspected to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated.  Jones was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further chemical testing where Jones submitted to the Intoxilyzer 5000 yielding a blood alcohol concentration of .180 grams percent according to reports. Jones was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Jason R McCraw, 42 years of age, Address: Pecos St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/15/2017 @ 9:27pm .

Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery Child-Endangerment

     A patrolling officer responded to the Morgan City Police Department to meet with a complainant in regard to a reported domestic abuse child endangerment. The officer spoke with the complainant along with a juvenile male who showed signs of being the victim of a battery along with a female juvenile. The officer was told that the juveniles were at a residence on Pecos Street with Jason R McCraw the reported father of the juveniles. Reports indicate that McCraw was shouting at the juveniles at which time McCraw committed a battery on the male juvenile. The officer was provided a location McCraw could be located at which time the officer along with deputies with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office located McCraw at a local lounge on Hwy 182. During an investigation, reports indicate that evidence of the alleged batter was uncovered by officers. McCraw was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Kala Blanchard was transported from the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office Jail to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th  Ward Morgan City Court. Blanchard was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

     Eric R Gilmore was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police.  The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Detectives of an incident reported on February 3, 2017 of an alleged theft at a local grocery store on La. Hwy 70. Gilmore was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident reported on December 18, 2016 of alleged Non-Consensual Disclosure of a Private Image. Sikes was booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was incarcerated.

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Railroad Avenue and Ditch Avenue with improper tail lights. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Demond C Davis. A driver license check revealed that Davis had a suspended driver license according to reports. Davis was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

      Officers responded to a local hotel on Martin Luther King Blvd in regard to a complaint of illegal drug activity inside one of the rooms. The officers arrived and located a female identified as Devan Washington who was believed to be an occupant of the room. A warrants check was conducted which revealed that Washington had an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial District Court at which time she was placed under arrest.  The investigators conducted a search of the room when they located suspected marijuana, xanax which was believed to be intended for distribution, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of U.S. currency which was believed to be obtained from the sales of illegal drugs according to reports. The location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone. Washington was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

     Officers responded to a residence on Louisa Street in regard of a subject inside the complainants back yard.  The officers arrived when they located the complainant who was an off duty officer who had already detained a subject identified as Donte J Harris. The officers were told that Harris was observed in the rear yard of the off duty officer. The off duty officer identified himself as law enforcement when Harris began to flee from the officer according to reports. A foot chase ensued through several yards when the off duty officer apprehended Harris moments later. Harris was placed under arrest and searched when officers located suspected MDMA (ecstasy) and xanax on Harris according to reports. A warrants check was conducted and it was revealed that the 16th Judicial District Court held arrest warrants on Harris. Reports indicated that the location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone and Harris was suspected to have been intoxicated. Harris was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
