Officers responded to the area of Keith Street near Allison Street in regard to a call of a suspicious subject who was walking through several residential yards. The officers arrived and located a subject matching the description provided identified as Brodie Boudreaux. During an investigation, reports indicated that Boudreaux's behavior aroused the officers suspicions that he may be involved in illegal drug activity. Boudreaux was searched when the officer located suspected Alprazolam, Phentermine Hydrocloride and Acetaminophen. The location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Possession of an Open Alcoholic Beverage Inside Vehicle

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Sixth Street and Ditch Avenue. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Erick Deleon. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that the officer observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle and it was learned that Deleon did not have a valid driver license. Deleon was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Criminal Damage to Property

Officers responded to a local grocery store on Marguerite Street in regard to a reported battery and damage to property complaint. The officers arrived and spoke with store employees and witness to the incident. The officer was told that there was a subject inside the store who became irate causing a disturbance. The officer was told that the irate subject committed a battery on an individual and then caused several items from a shelve to fall to the floor damaging the items. The officer was then directed by witnesses to a subject inside the store who matched the description who was detained and identified as James Henry. During an investigation, evidence of the alleged incident was uncovered by the officer. Henry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jose Vasquez, 25 years of age, Address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/25/2017 @ 9:30pm.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Federal Avenue and Leona Street with improper tail lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle identified as Jose Vasquez. A drivers license check was conducted when it was learned that Vasquez did not have a valid driver license according to reports. Vasquez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer observed a subject on Victor II Blvd. traveling without any required safety reflectors. A stop was conducted and the driver of the bicycle identified as Jose T Ainsworth. During a traffic investigation, reports indicated that Ainsworth's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that Ainsworth may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana on Ainsworth. Ainsworth was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

An officer responded to an educational facility on Hickory Street in regard to a reported fight. The officer arrived and spoke with management who told officer that Dasny C Bardales and Siria Martinez-Gutierrez were involved in a physical altercation while on the facility. During an investigation, evidence of the alleged altercation was uncovered by the officer. Both Baradales and Martinez-Gutierrez who were present were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Morgan City Police Narcotics Investigators observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Sixth Street and Marguerite Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants of the vehicle identified as Markell Davis (driver) and Malcomb Williams III (passenger). A drivers license check was conducted which revealed that Davis did not have valid driver license. During a traffic investigation, reports indicate that Davis and Williams III behavior aroused the investigators suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when officers located suspected marijuana. Both Davis and Williams III were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

No Tail Lights
Flight From An Officer

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Hwy 182 near Eleventh Street without any tail lights. The officers attempted to conducted a traffic stop but the vehicle failed to pull over. The officer chased the vehicle for several city blocks when the vehicle stopped in front of a residence on Ditch Avenue and the passenger of the vehicle later identified as Javien J Francis exited and fled on foot. A foot chase ensued by assisting officers when Francis was apprehended moments later. A search was conducted when officers located suspected alprazolam and drug paraphernalia on Francis. A warrants check also revealed that Francis had several active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Carlven Chapman who was also arrested. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana. Both Chapman and Francis were transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

During an investigation, reports indicate that Curtis appeared to be in an intoxicated condition. A warrants check was conducted and it was learned that Curtis had an active arrest warrant held through the 16th Judicial District Court. Curtis was placed under arrest and searched when the officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. An officer responded to a residence on Spruce Street in regard to a complaint of criminal damage to property. The officer arrived and spoke with the complainant who told the officer that David Guzman had damaged two windows of the complainants residence. The officer located Guzman in the area moments. During an investigation, reports indicate that Guzman appeared to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Evidence of the alleged damage to property was uncovered by the officer. Guzman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn at the intersection of Acorn Street and Leona Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants of the vehicle identified as Tysie M Dabney (driver) and Neil J Dupre (passenger). A drivers license check was conducted when it was revealed that Dabney had a suspended drivers license. During the traffic investigation, reports indicated that Dupre and Dabney's behavior aroused the officers suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected methamphetamine which was believed to be packaged for distribution, suspected drug paraphernalia and over $1,700.00 in U.S. currency which was believed to have been obtained from the sales of illegal drugs according to reports. The location of the incident was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Both Dupre and Dabney were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Sydney Holder, 19 years of age, Address: Arenz St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/24/2017 @ 3:21am.

Charge: Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile (Misdemeanor)

Officers responded to a residence on Maple Street in regard to a call of a male subject having sexual intercourse with a female juvenile. As officer arrived, a male subject later identified as Sydney Holder was observed running from the residence. Responding officers conducted a search of the area and located Holder moments later who was detained form further investigation. The complainant told officers that he/she had returned home when they found Sydney Holder having sexual intercourse with the female niece 16 years of age. During an investigation, evidence was uncovered by the officers of the alleged incident. Holder was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle on Brashear Avenue near Fifth Street traveling out of its designated lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the occupants of the vehicle identified as Tyler Kapp (driver) and Lynn P Guidry Jr. (passenger). During a traffic investigation, reports indicated it was learned that Kapp had a suspended drivers license. Kapp and Guidry Jr's behavior aroused that officer's suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of Kapp's persons was conducted when the officer located suspected drug paraphernalia. During a search of the vehicle, the officer located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia where Guidry Jr. was seated. Both Kapp and Guidry were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Officers responded to the area of General Patton Street near Chester Bowles Street in regard to a reported disturbance. The officers arrived when they located a subject in the middle of the roadway with no shirt and acting in an aggressive manner identified as Bryan K Wright according to reports. Officers spoke with several witnesses to the incident who told officers that Wright was observed pacing in the middle of the roadway blocking traffic. A male subject driving a vehicle confronted Wright about blocking the roadway when Wright took off his shirt wanting to fight the motorist according to reports. Wright was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers responded to a residence on Birch Street in regard to removing a subject from the residence. The officers arrived when they spoke to the complainant who was identified as the owner of the residence. The complainant told officers that Christopher Sylvester was at the residence causing a disturbance and that they wanted him removed. Reports indicate that the officers instructed Sylvester that he was have the leave the residence which he refused to do so. Sylvester was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Darden's behavior aroused the officers suspicions that he may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. An officers responded to a local business on Hwy 182 in regard to a call of a shoplifter. The officer arrived and spoke with the business manager who told the officer that there was a subject inside the store that was suspected of taking items from the business and concealing them on his person. The officer located the subject in question identified as Leonard A Yarborough. During an investigation, reports indicate that a search was conducted when the officer located the alleged stolen items on Yarborough. Evidence of the alleged theft was uncovered by the officer. Yarborough was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers responded to Mallard Street in Brownell Homes in regard to a reported disturbance. Officers arrived when they observed a subject known to officers as Dequante Wesley who appeared to be involved in the alleged disturbance. Reports indicate that Wesley was known by the officers to be barred from all Morgan City Housing Authority property and that Wesley also had an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. As the officer approached, Wesley attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by the officer. Reports indicated that Wesley began to fight with the officer as the officer attempted to place him into cuffs when Wesley allegedly committed a battery on the officer. A struggle then ensued when the officer was able to place Wesley into handcuffs moments later. Wesley was transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking where Wesley the officer located suspected cocaine which was believed to be packed for distribution along with suspected MDMA (ecstasy). The location of Wesley's arrested was within the area of a drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Wesley was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Stephanie M Harvey, 38 years of age, Address: Cane St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/20/2017 @ 4:53am.

Charge: Warrant - Unauthorized Use of an Access Card

Stephanie M Harvey was located by officers on Federal Avenue near Egle Street where she was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police of an incident reported on January 24, 2017 of alleged unauthorized use of an access card. Harvey was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
