The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/23/2016. 

Johnathan Priestley, 22 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/23/2016 @ 8:30pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Smoking Prohibited in Jail Facility

     Johnathan Priestly who was incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted where Priestley was allegedly smoking inside the jail facility while incarcerated. Priestley was booked on the warrant and remains incarcerated. 

Donald A Chenevert, 46 years of age, Address: Main St. Houma, La. was arrested on 05/24/2016 @ 4:36am. 

Charge: Resisting An Officer by Giving False Information

     An officer was dispatched to a local convenience store on Hwy 182 in regard to a subject trying to sell jewlery inside the store. During the investigation, the officer spoke with a subject who according to reports identified himself to the officer as Gary Brown. As the officer continued the investigation, reports indicate that the subject had given the officer a false name and was later identified as Donald A Chenevert. A warrants check revealed that the Houma Police Department held an active arrest warrant for Chenevert. Chenevert was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/19/2016.

Jacob T Alcina, 28 years of age, Address: Martin Luther King Blvd. Patterons, La. was arrested on 05/19/2016 @ 2:30pm.

Charges:
 Warrant - Possession of Methamphetamine
                  Warrant - Possession of Drug araphernalia
                  Warrant - Theft Under $750.00 

     
Jabob T Alcina was located and arrest in the Morgan City Court in regard to active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants were obtained from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department of an incident that occured on February 4, 2016. Reports indicate that Alcina was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by Probation and Parole. During the arrest, officers located a substance suspected to be methamphetamine along with suspected drug paraphernalia.. The substance was collected as evidence and sent to a criminal laboratory for analysis. Officers also suspected that Alcina may have ingested an unknown amount of narcotics when Alcina was transported to a local medical facility for treatment. During treatment, Alcina allegedly committed a theft inside the medical facility. Upon discovering the theft, the items were recovered and released back to the facility.  Due to Alcina's medical condition, Alcina was not charged with the incident that day. The analysis on the substance was later completed which identified the substance located on Alcina allegedly to be methamphetamine. The warrants were obatained based on this investigation.  Alcina was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Tryalon A Grogan, 24 years of age, Address: Wren St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2016 @ 3:51pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 01/12/16 for Remaining Where Forbidden
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 01/12/16 for Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/05/15 for Remaining Where Forbidden

     Tryalon A Grogan was located and arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Grogan was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Charleston J Grogan, 21 years of age, Address: Wren St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2016 @ 4:15pm.

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 12/01/15 for Simple Battery

     Charleston J Grogan was located and arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Grogan was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Benjamin Cheramie, 45 years of age, Address: Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2016 @ 7:48pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Domestic Abuse Battery

     Benjamine Cheramie was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department Jail in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Cheramie was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Tamera Stevens, 55 years of age, Address: Onstead St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/20/106 @ 2:38 am.

                  Warrant - Issuing Worthless Checks 05/12/2003

     Tamera Stevens was located by officers at an address on Hwy 182 where Stevens was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Stevens was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/17/2016. 

Stacey L Grubb, 35 years of age, Address: Shady Grove Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/17/2016 @ 2:00pm.

Warrant -  Contempt of Court (Violating Conditions of Bond)

     Stacey L Grubb was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Grubb was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Zachary M Crappell, 22 years of age, Address: North First St. Morgan City, La  was arrested on 05/17/2016 @ 2:40pm. 

Charge:  Contempt of Court (Failure to Complete Jail Sentence) 

     Zachary M Crappell was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Crappell was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Devante D Frank, 24 years of age, Address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/17/2016 @ 2:49pm.

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle make an improper turn from Onstead Street onto Federal Avenue. As the vehicle traveled on Federal Avenue, reports indicate that the vehicle was observed crossing into the opposing lane of traffic. A traffic stop was conducated and the driver identified as Devante D Frank. A drivers license check revealed that Frank had a suspended drivers license. Frank was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Frank was booked and incarcerated.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/20/2016. 

Stanley Ruffin Sr., 48 years of age, Address: Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/20/2016 @ 3:10pm. 

Charge:  
Driving Under Suspension

     A patrolling officer observed a subject known by the officer as Stanely Ruffin Sr. operating a vehicle on Sixth Street near General MacArthur Street. It was known by the officer that Ruffin had a suspended drivers license which was verified by the officer. A traffic stop was conducted when Ruffin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Ruffin was booked and incarcerated. 

Jose M Marinez-Moralez, 40 years of age, Address: Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/20/2016 @ 10:48pm.

Charge:  Warrant - Theft (less than $750.00)

     Jose M Martinez-Moralez was located at an address on Brashear Ave. where he was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from the result of an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department of an alleged theft at local convenience store on Federal Ave. reported on March 14, 2016. Matrinez-Moralez was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Cody Gibbs, 20 years of age, Address: Glenwood St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2016 @ 11:23pm. 

Charges:  Simple Battery
                  Entering or Remaining in Places After Forbidden

     An officer responded to an address on South Railroad Avenue in regard to a call of Cody Gibbs causing a disturbance at the location. The officer arrived and spoke with a subject later identified as a victim of a battery along with a witness to the incident. The officer was told that Gibbs who left the area prior to the officer arriving was at the location causing a disturbance when Gibbs allegedly committed a battery on the victim. The officer was also told that Gibbs was barred from the location due to a simular previous incident. Gibbs was located by officers in the area moments later and questioned about the incident. Gibbs was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Gibbs was booked and incarceratated. 

Daniel Scully Jr., 40 years of age, Address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2016 @ 1:49am.

Lee M Boudreaux, 41 years of age, Address: North Verrett St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 05/21/2016 @ 1:49am.

                   Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Aaron J Boudreaux, 40 years of age, Address: North Verrett St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 05/21/2016 @ 1:49am. 

Charges:  Creation of a Clandestine Laboratory
                  Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory
                   Possession With the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
                   Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                   Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws - Drug Free Zone

     Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search was at an address on Belanger Street. The investigators made entry into the residence where they located three subjects identified as Daniel Scully Jr., Lee M Boudreaux and Aaron J Boudreaux. A search of the residence was conducted when according to reports investigators located an active clandestine methamphetamine laboratory, suspected methamphetamine along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia. A professional cleaning company was summond to the residence where the hazardous materials were recovered for disposal. The location of the incident was within the area of a local school in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Daniel Scully Jr., Aaron Boudreaux and Lee Boudreaux were all arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated. 

Myles Morgan, 28 years of age, Address: Front St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/22/2016 @ 1:20am. 

Charge:  Dustrubing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers responded to an address on Front Street in regard to a call of a disturbance. The officers arrived when they were told by the complainant that Myles Morgan who had left the residence moments prior, was causing a distubance. Morgan was located by officers in the area moments later when Morgan was suspected to be under the infulence of an illegal substance and or intoxicated. Morgan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Patrick L Augman, 42 years of age, Address: Edenborn Ave. Metarie, La. was arrested on 05/22/2016 @ 2:40pm. 

Charge:  Theft of Goods

     Officers responded to a local retail-store on Seventh St. in regard to a report of a theft. While reponding, the officers were told that the suspect had fled the area in a vehicle. A description of the suspect and vehicle was obtained through the store video security system when officers located the vehicle moments later. A traffic stop was conducted when according to reports officers identified an occupant of the vehicle Patrick L Augman as the subject to have committed the alleged theft. After a short investigation, the items reported stolen valued at $9.74 were recovered and returned to the business. Augman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Jeremy A Voisin, 29 years of age, Address: M Street Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/22/2016 @ 11:27pm.

                 Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws - Drug Free Zone

April N Voisin, 31 years of age, Address M Street Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/22/2016 @ 11:27pm. 

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws - Drug Free Zone

     Officers conducted a traffic stop on Tupelo Street @ Levee Road on a vehicle the was believed to have been involved in a prior incident of an alleged aggravated second degree battery investigation. The vehicle was detained while Morgan City Police Depatment Detectives obtained a search warrant for the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted when investigators located suspected marijuana and drug paraphermalia inside. The location of the incident was within the area of a marked drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. The driver of the vehicle identified as Jeremy A Voisin and passenger identified as April N Voisin were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Benjamin J Justilian, 18 years of age, Address: Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/18/2016 @ 1:35pm.

     Benjamin J Justilian turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Justilian was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Tammy Prevost, 42 years of age, Address: Chatsworth Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/18/2016 @ 2:00pm. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

Stephanie M Harvey, 37 years of age, Address: Cane St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/18/2016 @ 2:00pm.

Charge:  Disturbin the Peace by Fighting

     Officers responded to the parking lot of the Morgan City Court in regard to a report of a disturbance. Reports indicate that as officers arrived, two females identified as Tammy Prevost and Stephanie Harvey were observed engaged in a physical altercation. Prevost and Harvey were separated by the officers and placed under arrest. The two were then booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Dustin M Lovell, 19 years of age, Address: Sandy Ln. Franklin, La. was arrested on 05/18/2016 @ 11:26pm.

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana
                  Warrant - Violation of a Protective Order on 03/15/2016

Bethany R Crochet, 19 years of age, Address, Belagner St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/18/2016 @ 11:46pm. 

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana

     Officers responded to a local motel on Hwy 182 in regard to an anonymous tip that Dustin M Lovell was occupying a room at the business. It was known by officer that the Morgan City Police Department held active arrest warrants on Lovell. The officers went to the room where they knocked on the door when the officers could hear movement inside. Moments later a female identified as Bethany R Crochet answered the door while other officers on the perimeter of the room observed Dustin M Lovell exit a window at the rear of the room and flee in efforts to evade police. Lovell was captured moments later and arrested. While speaking with Crochet, officers observed what appeared marijuana on a table inside the room. A subsequent search was conducted when more suspected marijuana was located. Crochet was placed under arrest at which time both she and Lovell were transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Terrell D. Mingo, 26 years of age, Address- Bowman St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/16/2016 @ 4:42 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Theft of Goods (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)

  Terrell Mingo was located on Bowman St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office. Mingo was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration. 

Kevin R. Pizano, 31 years of age, Address- Moon Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/16/206 @ 6:18 pm.

                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Illuminating Devices Required
                 No Turn Signal
                 Resistig an Officer

  Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division was patrolling the area of Adams and Second St., when a vehicle was observed turning onto Second St. without using a turn signal.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Kevin Pizano was asked to produce a valid driver's license. Pizano's behavior aroused the investigators suspicion that he may be involved in illegal drug activity. Investigators located suspected marijuana on Pizano and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. During the investigation, investigators learned that Pizano had given them a false name. Pizano was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
