The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/13/2016.

Antoine O Randle, 30 years of age, Address: Wren St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/13/2016 @ 3:35pm. 

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery

     An officer responded to an address on Wren Street in regard to a call of a welfare concern. The officer arrived and spoke with two occupants of the residence, one being identified as the victim of a battery and the other as Antoine O Randle. The officer was told that Randle and the victim were involved in an argument when Randle allegedely commited a battery on the victim. Reports indicate that evidence supporting the statements of a battery was observed by the officer. Randle was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Randle was booked and incarcerated.

Geron Stewart, 17 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/13/2016 @ 4:00pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

     Geron Stewart came into the Morgan City Police Department where he turned himself over to officers in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obstained in regard to an investigation conducted by investigators of an alleged fight Stewart was reported to have been involved on February 24, 2016. Stewart was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Wesley R Bass, 19 years of age, Address: River Rd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/13/2016 @ 8:46pm. 

Charges: Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/23/2016 for No Drivers License
                 Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/23/2016 for No Vehicle Insurance
                 Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/23/2016 for No Seatbelt

     Wesley R Bass was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department Jail in regard to active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bass was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Joseph Embry, 41 years of age, Address: Woodhue Dr. Bullard, Tx. was arrested on 05/16/2016 @ 2:08am. 

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     Officers responded to a local motel on Hwy 182 in regard to subject causing a disturbance. The officers arrived when they located Joseph Embry who matched the description provided. It was told to officers by several witnesses that Embry was shouting out profane language disturbing other occupants of the motel. Officers spoke with Embry when the officers suspected Embry to have been drinking and was believed to be intoxicated. Embry was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Embry was booked and incarcerated. 

Kayla S Boudreaux, 29 years of age, Address: Lizabeth Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/15/2016 @ 10:00am. 

Charges:  Switched License Plate
                  No Vehicle Insurance
                  No Motor Vehicle Inspection Sticker

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Hwy 182 near Indutrial Road when the officer noticed the vehicle had a switched license plate. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Kayla S Boudreaux. During the traffic stop, reports indicated that the vehicle Boudreaux was operating did not have insurance nor did it have a motor vehicle inspection sticker. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Boudreaux was booked and incarcerated. 

Andre D. Wilson, 30 years of age, Address: Chester Bowels St. Morgan City, La was arrested on 05/15/2016 @ 6:27pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Faliure to Appear on September 8, 2016 for Contempt of Court

     Andre D Wilson was located by officers at a residence on Chester Bowels Street where Wilson was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wilson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Wilson was booked and incarcerated. 

Angela D Barrow, 48 years of age, Address: Southeast Blvd. Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 05/15/2016 @ 7:37pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace
 
     Officers responded to the 600 block of Egle Street in regard to a report of a large disturbance. The officers arrived when they observed several people involved in the reported disturbance. According to reports, the officers began to dispurse the crowd when one of the subject involved later identified as a male juvenile ignored the officers warning and continued shouting profanities. The juvenile was placed under arrest when Angela D Barrow approached the officer shouting using profane language. Reports indicate that Barrow was told several times to calm down but also ignored the officers warnings continuing to shout profanities toward the officers. Barrow was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Barrow was booked and incarcerated. 

Stephen P Templet, 40 years of age, Address: Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/16/2016 @ 2:40am. 

Charge:  Warrant - Faliure to Appear on February 25, 2014 for Following Too Close

     Stephen P Templet was located by officers on La. Hwy 70 where Templet was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Templet was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Templet was booked and incarcerated.

James A Davis Jr., 17 years of age, Address: Cardinal St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/16/2016 @ 4:00am. 

Charge:  Warrant - Simple Burglary

     James A Davis Jr. was located by officers in the area of Brashear and Federal Avenue where Davis was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant was obtained from an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Detectives of an alleged burglary of a building on the grounds of a local school on March 18, 2016. Davis Jr. was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Davis Jr. was booked and incarcerated.

Patsy Durocher, 31 years of age, Address: Missouri St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/11/2016 @ 8:03pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Simple Battery
                  Warrant - Driving Under Suspension

     Patsy Durocher was located by officers at an address on Missouri Street where she was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Franklin Police Department. Durocher was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Durocher was booked and incarcerated. 

Teana Rivet, 29 years of age, Address: Stacy St. Bayou Lourse, La. was arrested on 05/12/2016 @ 12:30am.

Charges:  Warrant - Possession of Marijuana
                  Warrant - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Warrant - Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws  

     Teana Rivet was transported from the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office Detention Center to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police. Rivet was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Erik S Driskill, 41 years of age, Address: Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/09/2016 @ 4:30pm.

     Erik S Driskill was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to two active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and one active arrest warrant held by 16th Judicial District Court. Driskill was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Tagger M Rosson, 18 years of age, Address: Dawn Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/09/2016 9:56pm. 

Charges:  Warrant - Theft 
                  Warrant - Theft 

     Tagger M Rosson was located by officers in the area of Hwy La. 70 where Rosson was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department and the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. The Morgan City Police Department warrant was obtained as the result of an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Detectives in regard to an alleged theft reported on April 20, 2016. Rosson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Rosson was booked and incarcerated. 

Michael J Langston, 36 years of age, Address: North Second St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/09/2016 @ 11:47pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

     An officer responded to a local drug store on Brashear Avenue in regard to a call of a suspicios person in the area. A description was provided when the officer located a subject matching the description identified as Michael J Langston.  While conversing with the officer, Langston was suspected to have been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. The officer attempted to allow Langston to call a taxi cab when Langston got belligerent and began shouting loudly causing a disturbance. Langston was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Langston was booked and incarcerated. 

Jahmarcus L Paddio, 19 years of age, Address: Freret St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 1:27am.

Charges:  Warrant - Contempt of Court
                  Warrant - Entery / Remaining Where Forbidden

     Jahmarcus L Paddio was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department Jail in regard to active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Paddio was booked into the Morgan City and incarcerated. 

     The Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division is currently investigating several burglaries of local schools reported in Morgan City within the past month. Several arrest warrants have been obtained during the investigation which resulted in the arrest of three juveniles on 05/09/2016. One male juvenile, 13 years of age was arrested on warrants for 3 counts of Simple Burglary, Theft Under $750.00 and Pricipal to Simple Burglary. A second male juvenile, 15 years of age was arrested on warrants for 2 Counts of Simple Burglary. A third male juvenile, 14 years of age was arrested on warrants for 4 counts of Simple Burglary. The investigation on these incidents continues and more arrest are expected.

The following person was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/12/2016.

Peggy A Fabre, 49 years of age, Address: Francis St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/12/2016 @ 11:48am. 

Charges:  
Warrant - Theft of Goods
                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Peggy A Fabre was located by a patrol officer in the area of Brashear Avenue near Seventh Street where Fabre was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police Department and the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. The warrant for theft of goods was obtained from an investgition conducted by the Morgan City Police Department of an alleged theft reported from a local drug store on May 10, 2016. Fabre was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning on 05/10/2016.

Jose L Lopez, 57 years of age, Address: Wise St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 3:15pm. 

Charges:  
Warrant - Probation Violation

     Jose L Lopez was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Lopez was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Shawn B Durkins, 22 years of age, Adddress: South East Blvd. Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 5:42pm.

Charges:  Improper Turning
                  Driving Under Suspension
                  Warrant - Parole Violation
                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives conducted a traffic stop in regard to a vehicle that was observed making an improper turn near Wren and Canary Street. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Shawn B Durkins who according to reports had a suspended drivers license after a drivers license check. A warrants check revealed that the 32nd Judicial District Courts held two active arrest warrant on Durkins. Durkins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Durkins was booked and incarcerated. 

Scott Reid, 54 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 2:00pm. 

Charge:  Contempt of Court

     Scott Reid was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court during court proceedings for contempt of court. Reid was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Morris V L Garrison, 21 years of age, Address: Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 9:17pm. 

Charges:  Opened Vehicle Door Obstructing Traffic
                  Possession With the Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
                  Possession of Marijuana
                  Transactions Involving Drug Proceeds
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws

Donnell Williams, 19 years of age, Address: Trevino St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/10/2016 @ 9:17pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 01/16/2016 for Possession of Marijuana

     Morgan City Police Department Narcotivs Detecitves observed a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway of Shannon Street near Egle Street. Investigators noticed that the door of the vehicle was opened into the roadway obstructing traffic. An investigatory stop was conducted when investigators spoke with an occupant of the vehicle Donnell Williams and Morris V L Garrison who told investigators he was the driver of the vehicle and had left the door opened. During converstions, investigators observed suspected crack cocaine inside the vehicle when Garrison and WIliams were detained. Reports indicate that Garrison told investigators that the vehicle also contained marijuana. A search of the vehicle was conducted when the investigators retrieved the suspected cocaine and marijuana.
A large amount of US currency was located on Garrison which was believed to have been obtained from illegal narctoics sales. The location of the incident was within the area of  a designated drug free zone in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. A warrants check revealed that the 6th Warrant Morgan City Court held an active arrest warrant for Williams. Both Garrison and Williams were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Danielle Kinkle, 23 years of age, Address: Mercury St. Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 05/06/2016 @ 3:10pm.

     Danielle Kinkle was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Kinkle was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Teligia M Busby, 50 years of age, Address: Main St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/06/2016 @ 4:30pm.

Charges:  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/05/2016 for Possession of Stolen Things
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 05/05/2016 for Theft

     Teligia M Busby was located by officers on Railroad Avenue near Myrtle Street where Busby was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Busby was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Busby was booked and incarcerated. 

Christopher Fryar, 33 years of age, Address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/06/2016 @ 6:28pm.

Charges:  Possession of Methamphetamine
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 03/29/2016 for Stop Sign Violation
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 02/18/2016 for Failure to Yield wtih an Accident

     Christopher Fryar was located by an officer in the area of Hwy 182 near Martin Luther King Blvd. where Fryar was arrested on active arrested warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court and the Patterson Police Department. Fryar was searched when the officer located suspected methamphetamine on Fryar. The location of the incident was within the area of a local church in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Fryar was transported to the Morgan City Jail where Fryar was booked and incarcerated. 

Ross Duhon, 29 years of age, Address: 6th Street Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/07/2016 @ 1:11am. 

Charge:  Simple Battery

     An officer responded to an address on Sixth Street in regard to a call of a battery. The officer arrived when the officer spoke with the victim of the incident who according to reports showed signs of a battery. The officer was told that the victim and Ross Duhon were involved in an argument when Duhon allegedly committed a battery on the victim. The office spoke with Duhon who was at the residence when the officer obtained evidence supporting the alleged battery. Duhon was placed under arrest and tranpsported to the Morgan City Jail where Duhon was booked and incarcerated. 

Tyron T Goudy, 25 years of age, Address: Tiger Dr. Thibodaux, La. was arrested on 05/07/2016 @ 11:34pm. 

Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                  Possession of Marijuana
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws
                  Illegal Carrying of a Firearm While in Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance

     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on Martin Luther King Blvd. make an unsafe lane change without using a turn signal.  A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Tyron Goudy. Goudy was told for the reason of the stop when Goudy's behavior aroused the officer's suspicions that Goudy may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when according to report the officer located suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a firearm. The location of the incident was within the area of a local church in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Goudy was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Goudy was booked and incarcerated. 

Ruben Peredo-Leon, 34 years of age, Address: Degravel Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/08/2016 @ 7:01pm. 

Charges:  Speeding
                  Warrant - Failure to Appear on 06/02/2015 for Driving While Intoxicated
                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     An officer observed a vehicle traveling on Hwy 182 at a rate of speed higher than the posted speed limit.  A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle was identified as Ruben Peredo-Leon. A warrants check revealed that Peredo-Leon had active arrest warrants through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Peredo-Leon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where Peredo-Leon was booked and incarcerated. 

Carlton Cosey, 33 years of age, Address: First St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/08/2015 @ 9:36pm. 

Charges:   2 Counts of Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
                   Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
                   Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
                   Discharging of Firearms Within City Limits

     Officers responded to the area of Maine Street and Fourth Street in regard to a report of shots being fired. An off duty officer who was in the area at the time intervened when the officer was told by witnesses that Carlton Cosey was the shooter and was attempting to flee the area in a vehicle. The officer observed Cosey as the passenger in a vehicle when the officer identified himself as a law enfocement officer and detained Cosey unitl responding officers arrived.  Additional officers arrived on scene and secure the area for further investigation. The officers were told by several witnesses that Carlton Cosey was involved in an argument when Cosey went to a vehicle and obtained a firearm. The officers were told that Cosey pointed the firearm at two individuals then pointed the firearm towards the sky and fired several shots.  Cosey was reported to have put the firearm back into the vehicle and was attempting to flee the area when Cosey was detained by the off duty officer. A search of the vehicle was conducted when officers located a firearm suspected to have been involved in the reported incident.  Reports indciated that evidence supporting the alligations was discorved by the officers during the investigation and that Cosey was reportedly a convicted felon. Cosey was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and remains incarcerated on an $85,000.00 bond.
