Patsy Durocher, 31 years of age, Address- Missouri St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/11/2016 @ 12:57 pm.


Charge:  Simple Assault

   Officers responded to the area of Fourth St. and Brashear Ave. to meet an individual to gather property from another location.  Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who wanted to retrieve his property at a residence on Missouri St. According to reports, once at the residence, Patsy Dudrocher made threats towards the victim. The victim indicated to officers that he wanted to file charges. Durocher was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Heather V. Welch, 24 years of age, Address- Jones St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/11/2016 @ 7:47 pm.

Charge:  Theft of Goods ($28.17)

   Officers responded to a local retail store on Hwy 182 E in regards to a shoplifter. According to reports, management witnessed Heather Welch conceal items in her purse without paying for them. Welch gave officers consent to search her purse and located  were items belonging to the store. Welch was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Shelia S. Blanchard, 48 years of age, Address- Fairview St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/07/2016 @ 2:53 pm.

Charge:  Theft of Goods
                Possession of Schedule IV (Alprazolam)

  Officers responded to a local business on Seventh St. in regards to a shoplifter in the store. Officers arrived and were told by management that Sheila Blanchard had concealed items in her purse without paying for them. The items totaled $33.20.  Officers also located in Blanchard's purse pills identified as Aloprazolam. Blanchard was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Dontre J. Parker, 19 years of age, Address-Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/07/2015 @ 3:03 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Disturbing the Peace Fighting

   Dontre Parker turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. Parker was booked and incarcerated.

Richard A. Tharp, 37 years of age, Address- Marshall St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/07/2016 @ 1:04 pm. 

Charge: Terrorizing

   Officers responded to a local business on Front St. in regards to a former employee making threats.  Officers arrived and were told by management that Richard Tharp, who was recently terminated, had come to the business made threatening statements and left.  A description of Tharp was given out and officers were able to locate Tharp at his residence. Tharp was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jonathan R. Beadle, 25 years of age, Address- Charlotte Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 04/07/2016 @ 6:35 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Simple Battery

   Jonathan Beadle was located in the City Court of Morgan City and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. Beadle was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Purcell A. Gros, 42 years of age, Address- Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/07/2016 @ 10:54 pm. 

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)
                Warrant- Failure to Appear Possession of Marijuana (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)

   Officers responded to a residence on Sixth St. in regards to an individual that held active warrants. Officers arrived and was told that Purcell Gros was in the residence. A warrant check was done and it was determined that he held active warrants for the 16th Judical District Court. Gros was located in one of the bedrooms, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jose L Lopez, 57 years of age, Address: Wise St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/05/2016 @ 2:11pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Jose L Lopez was arrested in the Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Morgan City Court. Lopez was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kayla M. Francise, 18 years of age, Address- Keith St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/08/2016 @ 12:17 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Disturbing the Peace Fighting

  Kayla Francise turned herself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from the ongoing investigation of the several fight videos uploaded to YouTube.  Francise was booked and incarcerated.

Kayla B. Hurry, 21 years of age, Address- Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 04/08/2016 @ 4:30 pm. 

Charge:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Michael P. Field, 53 years of age, Address- Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 04/08/2016 @ 4:30 pm.

Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

  Officers responded to a residence on Roderick St. in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived they located Kayla Hurry and Michael Fields. Both stated that they had gotten into a verbal altercation. Officers located inside of Hurry's purse items used to smoke illegal narcotics. They also located items to smoke illegal narcotics on Field's person. Both Hurry and Field were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Rebecca J. Demarco, 44 years of age, Address- North Verret Amelia, La. was arrested on 04/08/2016 @ 1:00 pm.

Charge:  Theft (over $750.00)
                Resisting an Officer
                Battery on an Officer

  Officers responded to a residence on Hwy 182 E. in regards to a theft. Officers arrived and according to reports, the victim stated that Rebecca Demarco had stolen items from his residence. A description of Demarrco was given out and she was located on Eleventh St. When officers approached Demarco, she appeared intoxicated. Reports indicated that Demarco admitted to taking the items. While placing Demarco under arrest, she began to pull away from officers. Demarco was handcuffed and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. Once at the police department, Demarco struck an officer. She was additionally charged with battery on an officer.

Kenneth L. Dupuy, 51 years of age, Address- Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/09/2016 @ 10:57 am.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear (Iberville Parish)

  Kenneth Dupuy was located on Myrtle St. A warrant check was done and it was determined that he held an active warrant for Iberville Parish. Dupuy was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Rodney R. Williams, 37 years of age, Address-Clair Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/10/2016 @ 10:00 am.

Charge:  Warrant- Failure to Appear for Arraingment

  Rodney Williams tranported to the Morgan City Police Department by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office for an active warrant he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Williams was booked and incarcerated.

Ronda K. Baines, 48 years of age, Address- Hwy 182 E. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/08/2016 @ 8:27 pm.

Charge: Simple Battery

  Officers responded to a residence on Egle St. in regards to a battery that had been committed on an individual. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim. According to reports, the vicitm stated that Ronda Baines started a verbal altercation which led to her striking him. Reports indicate that witnesses also claim that Baines stuck the victim. Officers located Baines at the residence, placed her under arrest and transported her to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Shoney E Massey, 39 years of age, Address: Vivian St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/05/2016 @ 4:05pm. 

Charges:  Poessession of Methamphetamine
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws

     Officers responded to the parking lot of a local medical facility on Marguerite Street in regard to a call of a subject laying on the ground next to a vehicle. The officers arrived when they located a vehicle with an open door in the parking lot. Witnesses told officers that they had observed a subject laying next to the vehicle and that the subject went into the medical faciclity. While speaking to witnesses, officers could see suspected drug paraphernalia from outside the vehicle. Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives were call to the scene and arrived moments later to assist with the investigation. A search warrant for the vehicle was obtained and a search conducted when investigators located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Investigators went inside the medical facility where they made contact with Shoney E Massey. It was alleged that Massey had driven the vehicle and parked it in the faclitity parking lot. The location of the incident was within the area of a local school in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Massey was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Brodie D Chapman, 38 years of age, Address: Louisiana St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/06/2016 @ 6:45pm.

Charges:  Warrant - Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
                  Warrant - Disturbing the Peace by Loud Obscene Language
                  Warrant - Principal to Disturbing the Peace by Fighting

     Brodie D Chapman turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police. Chapman was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Jalen D Allen, 23 years of age, Address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/06/2016 @ 6:59pm. 

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division observed a vehicle traveling east on Hwy 90 which appeared to be speeding. Reports indicated that the investigators paced the vehicle at 85 mph and that the vehicle crossed out of its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver was identified as Annabel M Garza and the passenger as Jalen D Allen. During the investigation, Garza and Allen's behavior aroused investigators suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. A search of the vehicle was conducted when investigators located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Garza and Allen were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

     Theresa O Coleman turned herself in at the Morgan City Police Department in regard to active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police. Coleman was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Gregory Williams, 56 years of age, Address: Prarie Rd. Franklin, La. was arrested on 04/04/2016 @ 5:22pm.

Charges:  Remaining on Premises After Being Forbidden
                  Warrant - Disturbing the Peace

     An officer responded to a local business on Victor II Boulevard in regard to a suspicious person on the property. When the officer arrived a subject identified as Gregory Williams who matched the description provided was located on the property. Reports indicate that Williams had been banned from the property as a result of a previous incident and was not supose to return. A warrants check revealed that there was an acitve arrest warrant for Williams held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Travis J Morin, 32 years of age, Address: Shaw Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/04/2016 @ 8:27pm.

Charges:  Driving Under Suspension

     An officer conducted a traffic stop on Victor II Boulevard near Veterans Boulevard where the driver was identified as Travis J Morin. The traffic stop was in regard to officers investigating a previous complaint which Morin was alleged to have been involved. A drivers license check revealed that Morin had a suspended drivers license. Morin was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

     Jacob N Klenert, 22 years of age, Address: South Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 04/04/2016 @ 9:44pm.

                  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Jacob N Klenert was located by officers at a local restaurant on Hwy 182 where he was arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Klenert was transported to the Morgan City Police Department Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
