     Tonisheka M Davis was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Davis was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Nicole M Fisher, 44 years of age, Address: Muggah St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 03/23/2016 @ 7:48pm. 

Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Theft by Shoplifting

     Nicole M Fisher was transported from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Jail to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Fisher was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Shanita M. Watts, 38 years of age, Address- Barrow St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/21/2016 @ 6:45 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Contempt of Court

  Shanita Watts was located on Seventh St. A local warrants check was done on Watts and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Watts was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Heidi R. Sams, 37 years of age, Address- Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/21/2016 @ 10:07 pm. 

Charge:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                No turn Signal

  An officer in the area of Second St. observed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal while turning on to Brashear Ave. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Heidi Sams was asked to exit the vehicle. The officer was given consent to search Sams' vehicle and located inside was an item used to smoke illegal narcotics. Sams was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Kyle J Darden, 19 years of age, Address: Flat Town Rd. Jeanerette, La. was arrested on 03/17/2016 @ 5:43pm. 

Charges:  Possession of Marijuana

     Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives conducted a traffic stop in regard to a vehicle making an improper turn at the intersection of Front Street at Onstead Street. Two occupants were located inside the vehicle identified as driver Carlon J Gonsoulin and passenger Kyle J Darden. Gonsoulin and Darden's behavior aroused the detective's suspicions that they may be involved in illegal drug activity. Reports indicated that a search of the vehicle was conducted when detectives located suspected marijuana. Both Gonsoulin and Darden were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.

Desmond J Richard, 34 years of age, Address: Mike Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 03/22/2016 @ 9:31am.

Charges:  Violation of a Protective Order
                  Warrant - Speeding in a School Zone
                  Warrant - Driving Without a Drivers License
                  Warrant - Resisting An Officer by Giving False Information

     An officer responded to an address on Third Street in regard to a complaint that Desmond Richard was at the location and in violation of a protective order. The officer arrived when a vehicle described as Richard's vehicle was observed leaving the area. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver was identified as Desmond J Richard. An investigation was conducted when according to reports it was destermined that Richard was indeed at the complainants residence and in violation of a 16th Judicial District Court Protective Order. A warrants check revealed that Richard also had active arrest warrants with the Morgan City Police Department. Richard was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Gersson S Viniegra, 31 years of age, Catherine St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 03/22/2016 @ 3:30pm.

Vinny P Verret, 28 years of age, Address: Third St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/22/2016 @ 4:20pm.

     Vinny P Verret was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Verret was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

     Brennon N Skinner was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Skinner was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Orlando Flores, 36 years of age, Address-Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/18/2016 @ 7:00 pm.

Orlando Flores turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Flores was booked and incarcerated.

Tyrone F. Thomas, 51 years of age, Address-Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/19/2016 @ 2:16 am.

Charge:  Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense

 Officers were dispatched to a local convenient store on Hwy 182 in regards to an individual that had been previously banned. Information was received that the individual had gotten to a vehicle and was leaving the area. A description was given out and officers located the vehicle in the area of Hwy 182 near Ditch Ave. The driver identified as Tyrone Thomas was asked to exit the vehicle. According to reports, Thomas showed signs of impairment. Thomas given the Standard Field Soberity Test, which he performed poorly. Thomas was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Thomas was ask to submit to chemical test for intoxication. Thomas results were a  .194g % blood alcohol content.

Leonard A. Yarborough, 54 years of age, Address- Fourth St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 03/19/2016 @ 6:00 pm.

                Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

  Officers were dispatched to the area of Hwy 182 and Ditch Ave. in regards to someone having a battery committed on them. When officers arrived, the victim stated that Leonard Yarborough had committed a battery on him and made several threats towards him.  Officers were able to locate Yarborough at a local business on Ditch Ave. According to reports, Yarborough appeared intoxicated. When officers asked about the incident, he became loud and began using profanities. Yarborough was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Johnathon Priestley, 22 years of age, Address- Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/20/2016 @ 1:41 am.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear to Pay Probation Fees
               Warrant- Probation Violation

  Johnathon Priestley was located on Gen. MacArthur St. A local warrant check was done and it was determined that Priestley held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Priestley was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Alex M. Dunlap, 18 years of age, Address-Diane Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 03/16/2016 @ 10:52 am.

  Officers were dispatched to Morgan City High School in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, school officials stated that two students, Caleb Landry and Alex Dunlap had been figting. Both Landry and Dunlap were place under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

  Officers located Payton Bailey in the area of Myrtle St. A local warrants check was done and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. Bailey was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   Officers were dispatched to a local hotel on Hwy 182 in regards to individuals fighting in the parking lot. Officers arrived and located Taquasha Johnson and Skiler Chauvin. Reports indicated that both Johnson and Chauvin admitted to fighting. They were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
