Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws
The Morgan City Police Department recieved a complaint of illegal drug activity going on at a residence on Catherine Street. An investigation was conducted by investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Unit and a search warrant of the residence was obstained. Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department along with assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit exeucuted the search warrant when investigators located Zacharieth Lopez, Elizabeth R Toups, Alix, R Adams and Frank M Adams inside the residence. A search of the residence was conducted when investigators located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. The location of the incident was within the area of a local elementary school in violation of uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Lopez, Toups, Alix and Frank Adams were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Jose M Martinez Morales, 40 years of age, Address: Franklin St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/26/2016 @ 10:29pm.

Simple Criminal Damage to Property
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling in the area of Federal Avenue near Terrebonne Street with no headlights. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver of the vehicle later identified as Jose M Martinez Morlales got out of the vehicle and began running from the officer. A foot chase ensued when Morales jumped a fence of a nearby residence damaging the fence. Morales was later located by officers and arrested. A drivers license check revealed that Morales did not have a valid drivers license. Morales was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Miguel A Galeas, 26 years of age, Address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2016 @ 3:00am.

Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle
A patrolling officer observed a vehicle in the area of Hwy 182 near Cottonwood Street traveling out of its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted when the driver was identified as Miguel A Galeas and the passenger who at first gave officers a false name idnetified as Rudolfo Garcia. Reports indicated that officers observed several open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle. A drivers license check revealed that Galeas did not have a valid drivers license. Both Galeas and Garcia were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Schyler A Stelly, 22 years of age, Address: Gen MacArthur St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2016 @ 2:15pm.
Charge: Warrant - Simple Battery
Schyler A Stelly came into the Morgan City Police Department to visit an inmate incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail. A warrants check revelaed that there was an active arrest warrant for Stelly held by Morgan City Police. Stelly was placed under arrest and booked into the Morgan City Jail.
Thomas J Drawbaugh, 35 years of age, Address: Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2016 @ 5:44pm.
Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery In the Presence of a Juvenile
Officers were dispatched to an address on Louisa Street in regard to a call of a domestic disturbance. Thomas J Drawbaugh was located at the residence and identified as one of the subjects involve in the disturbance. Reports indicated that officers spoke with the victim who had signes of a battery along with a witness to the incident who told officers that Drawbaugh had committed a battery on the victim while the victim held a small child under 1 year of age. Drawbaugh was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
Jesse L Comeaux, 22 years of age, Address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/27/2016 @ 7:15pm.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Levee Rd. in regard to a call of a fight. Officers arrived and located Jesse L Comeaux and Efrain M Zavala who both showed signs of beging involved in an altercation. Reports indicated that officers spoke with witnesses in the area who identified both Comeaux and Zavala as being the subjects involved in the fight. It was believed that Comeaux and Zavala had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Comeaux and Zavala were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
Jamie L Weatherford, 30 years of age, Address: Slarie Ln. Grosse Tete, La. was arrested on 02/27/2016 @ 9:23pm.
Charge: Warrant - Failure to Appear to Pay Probation Fee
Jamie L Weatherford was located by officers in the area of St. Claire St. near First Street where she was arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Weatherford was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
Francisco Trujillo-Alarcon, 27 years of age, Address: Vicksburg, Ms. was arrested on 02/28/2016 @ 9:29am.
Charge: Appearing in Public in a Intoxicated Condition
Officers responed to a local business on Victor II Blvd. in regard to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Officers arrived and located the described vehicle when they oberved a subject inside who appeared to be sleeping. Officers made contact with the subject who was identified as Francisco Trujillo-Alarcon who was believed to have been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Trujillo-Alarcon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Officers reponded to an address on Egle Street in regard to two subjects on the property that had been previously banned off the property. Officers arrived and located George Harvey and Aketa R Francis. Reports indicated that Francis began yelling at officers using profane language. Both Harvey and Francis were placed under arrest when it was reported that Francis committed a battery on one of the officers. Harvey and Francis were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.
