Frederick B Fournet, 27 years of age, Address: Franklin, La. was arrested on 01/25/2016 @ 8:42am.

Charges:  Window Tint Violation
                  Possession With the Intent to Distribute Marijuana
                  Possession of Methamphetamine
                  Possession With the Intent to Distribute MDMA (ecstasy)
                  Transactions Involving Proceeds from CDS Activity
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     A patrolling officer was in the area of Federal Ave. @ Brashear Ave. when a vehicle was observed with window tint violation. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Frederick B Fournet. During the investigation, the driver aroused officers suspicions that he was involved in illegal drug activity.  A search of the vehicle was conducted when the officer located suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, MDMA (ecstasy), durg paraphernalia and proceeds believed to be obtained from the sale of illegal narcotics. The location of the incident was in the area of a local elementary school in violation of the uniformed controlled dangerous substance law. Fournet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated with a bond set at $5,000.

Craig O Robinson, 28 years of age, Address: Cherry St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/25/2016 @ 6:30pm.

Charge:  Warrant - 16th Judicial Dist. Court for Failure to Appear for Simple Assault

     Craig O Robinson was located on Railroad Ave. near Fourth St. where he was arrested on a warrant for the 16th Judicial Dist. Court for Failure to Appear on Simple Assault. Robinson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kaleb Calloway, 19 years of age, Address: Hwy 70 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/21/2016 @ 1:59 A.M.

                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Possession of Oxymorphone
                  Possession of Alprazolam
                  Possession of Legend Drug with out Presription (Auetiopine Fumarate)
                  Resisting an Officer
                  Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institue

     An officer conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 70 due to a traffic violation. During the traffic investigation Kaleb Calloway was identified as a passenger inside the vehicle.  A warrants check revealed that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office held an arrest warrant for Calloway. Calloway was placed under arrest and searched when the officer located suspected drug paraphernalila on Calloway. Calloway was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. During booking reports indicate that officers attempted to conduct a thorough search of Calloway when he refused to cooperate and began fighting with officers. Calloway was eventually tased and the situation brought under control. Calloway was searched when officers located suspected marijuana, oxymorphine, alprazolam, and quetiapine fumarate on Calloway's person. Calloway was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Rocky Sauce, 60 years of age, Address: Gibson, La. was arrested on 01/21/2016 @ 10:32 A.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Rocky Sauce was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant for Probation Violation. Sauce was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

   Kerry A Martin was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Court. Martin was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

James Naverre, 19 years of age, Address: Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/19/2016 @ 4:00 P.M.

     James Naverre was arrested in the 6th Ward Morgan City Court in regard to an active arrest warrant for Naverre held by the Morgan City Court. Naverre was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Travis S Ruffin Jr., 17 years of age, Address: Bernice St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/19/2016 @ 6:57 P.M. 


Charge:  Simple Battery

     An officer responded to the area of Cottonwood Street and Sandra Street in regard to a complaint of a battery. The officer arrived and spoke with the victim and witness of the incident. The officer was told that the victim and witness were traveling on Cottonwood Street when Travis S Ruffin Jr. pulled in front of them and stopped his vehicle. Travis then got out of his vehicle, walked over to the victim's vehicle and began punching the victim several times in the face through an open window. The officer then spoke with Ruffin Jr. who according to reports admitted that he did strike the victim through the window. Ruffin Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. The victim was transported to a local medical facility to be treated for minor inuries sustained during the incident.

Wilson LaChappel, 31 years of age, Address: Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/19/2016 @ 9:45 P.M.


Charges:  Improper Lighting
                  Driving Under Suspension
                  Warrant - Speeding

     An officer was patrolling the area of Front Street near Egle Street when a vehicle was observed traveling with improper tail lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Wilson LaChappel. A drivers license and warrants check was conducted which revealed that LaChappel had a suspended drivers license and that the Morgan City Police Department held an active arrest warrant for LaChappel. LaChappel was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

John Clark, 49 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/20/2016 @ 9:32 A.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Simple Battery



     An officer went to an address on Fourth St. in an attempt to locate John Clark in regard to an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police. Clark was located at the residence, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dwight J Caton Jr., 34 years of age, Address: Mark Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/20/2016 @ 6:40 P.M. 


Charges:  Speeding
                  Possession of Marijuana
                  Driving Under Suspension

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 182 near Duke Street when a vehicle was observed speeding. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Dwight J Caton Jr. During the stop the officer observed suspected marijuana inside the vehicle as Caton Jr. retrieved the vehicle papers from the glove box. A drivers license check revealed that Caton Jr. had a suspended drivers license. Caton Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Bianca F Prince, 24 years of age, Address: Ninth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/20/2016 @ 8:36 P.M.


Charge:  Theft (over $750.00)

     An officer responded to a local business on Hwy 182 in regard to a report of a theft. The officer spoke with the business manager who told the officer that one of the business employees had been taking money from a number of store deposits beginning November of 2015. The total of monies taken from the deposits was estimated around $8,000.00. The officer and managment spoke with employee Bianca F Prince who according to reports admitted taking the money. Prince was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Natasha D Bergeron, 29 years of age, Address: Tournament Blvd. Berwick, La. was arrested on 01/21/2016 @ 01:16 A.M.


Charges:  Failure to Appear to Pay Probation Fee
                  Probation Violation

     Natasha D Bergeron currently incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail was booked in on additional warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court.

Leanna R Gresco, 24 years of age, Address: Hwy 70 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/21/2016 @ 1:59 A.M.


Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                  Driving Under Suspension

     An officer was patrolling the area of Hwy 70 when a vehicle was observed traveling out of the lane of trave several time. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Leanna R Gresco. A drivers license check revealed that Gresco had a suspended drivers license. Gresco was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Ronald W Marcantel, 55 years of age, Address: Eunice , La. was arrested on 01/15/2016 @ 10:03 A.M. 


Charges:  Warrant - Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                  Warrant - Open Container of Alcohol
                  Warrant - Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense
                  Warrant - Vehicular Negligent Injury

Ronald W Marcantel came into the Morgan City Police Department to turn himself in on warrants held by Morgan City Police.  The warrants were varified when Marcantel was placed under arrest, booked and incarcerated.

     Courtney Smtih who was incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail was booked in on a probation violation warrant held by the 6th Ward City Court.

Jazlyn Bourque, 20 years of age, Address: Hwy 182, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/16/2016 @ 2:32 P.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Return Leased Merchandise

     An officer located Jazlyn Bourque at a local business on Hwy 182 in regard to the Morgan City Police Department holding an active arrest warrant for Bourque. Bourqe was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Deparment where she was booked and incarcerated.

Brent Latiolais, 34 years of age, Address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/16/2016 @ 2:42 P.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Return Leased Merchandise

     An officer went to a residence on Hwy 182 in an attempt to locate Brent Latiolais in regard to an active arrest warrant held for Latiolais by Morgan City Police. Latiolais was located, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ricky Hayes, 51 years of age, Address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/17/2016 @ 2:35 A.M.


Charges:  Simple Battery (2 Counts)
                  Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling

     An officer responded to an address on Arizona Street in regard to a complaint of a battery. The officer arrived and spoke with the victim along with the victim's juvenile son 14 years of age. The officer was told that they heard a knock at the door. Reports indicate that the juvenile went to the door when Ricky Hayes walked into the residence pushing the juvenile out of the way. Hayes then grabbed the adult victim by the hair and struck the victim several times then left the residence. A description and possible location was provided to officers when Hayes was located at an address on Railroad Avenue. Hayes told officers that he did go to the residence but denied striking the victim. Hayes was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incacerated.

Jessica B Hue, 33 years of age, Address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/17/2016 @ 2:04 P.M. 


Charges:  Improper Turning
                  Driving While Intoxicated

     An officer responded to the area of Sixth Street in regard to the complaint of a possible intoxicated driver. A description of the vehicle was provided to officers when the officer observed the vehicle making an improper turn at the intersection of Sixth Street and Freret Street. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Jessica B Hue. While speaking with Hue it was believed that Hue had taken narcotics and was believed to be impaired. Hue was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where a urine sample was obtained to be sent for analysis pending results. Hue was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Armando Saucedo-Silva, 48 years of age, Address: Halsey St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/17/2016 @ 2:31 P.M. 


Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery

     An officer responded to an residence on Halsey Street in regard to a compaint of a domestic disturbance. The officer arrived and spoke with the victim who stated that Armando Saucedo-Silva had struck the victim in the face and left the residence.  Reports indicated that marks consistent with a battery were observed on the victim. A description of Saucedo- Silva was provided to officers who was located on Chennault Street moments later. Officers attempted to speak with Saucedo-Sivla about the incident but he refused to speak with officers.  Saucedo-Silva was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Areana C Candanedo, 24 years of age, Address: Park Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/17/2016 @ 7:29 P.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Arraignment on 01/13/2016

     An officer was investigating a complaint on Halsey Street when contact was made with Areana Candanedo. A warrant check revealed that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Officer held an active arrest warrant on Candanedo. Candanedo was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Faibel Garcia, 35 years of age, Address: Fifth St. Morgan City , La. was arrested on 01/17/2016 @ 8:57 P.M. 


Charges:  Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
                  Simple Battery

     An officer responded to an address on Missouri Street in regard to a subject wanting to report an incident involving juveniles. The officer spoke with the complainant who advised that the compainants two juvenile daughters was at a location on Fifth St. when Faibel Garcia grabbed one of the juvenile. Garcia then began having a conversation with the juveniles sexual in content with sexual intensions. A description of Garcia was provided to officers when Garcia was located at an address on Fifth St. moments later. Reports indicate that Garcia was questioned about the incident at which time he denied commiting a battery but told officers he did have a conversation with the juveniles sexual in content. Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dwayne Broussard, 21 years of age, Address: Faith St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/18/2016 @ 10:01 P.M. 


Charge:  Cruelty to a Juvenile

     An officer responded to a local medical care facility in regard to a complaint of child abuse. The officer then spoke with several witnesses about the incident. The officer was told that a male subject later identified as Dwayne Broussard was observed standing outside the facility near a vehicle with a small child approximately 4 months old. Reports indicate that Broussard was observed shaking the child several times cursing at the child and slam the child into a car seat. The vehicle left the area moments later but witnesses provided officers with a license plate. The vehicle was registered to a subject on Faith Street in Assumption Parish.   Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department were called upon and responed to assist with the investigation. Video of the incident was obtained and reviewed by investigators. The Assumption Parish Sherff's Office assited in going to the registered owners residence where contact was made with Broussard. Broussard agreed to come into the Morgan City Police Department to speak with investigators about the incident. Investigators were able to identified Broussard from the video. Broussard was placed under arrest, booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
