MCPD Arrest Report 04/06/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 40 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result during the last reporting period beginning on 04/05/2017:

Brionne Bogen, 21 years of age, address: James St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/05/2017 @ 10:05 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to pay citation (Red Light Violation)

Brionne Bogen was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Bogen was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Courtney Smith, 28 years of age, address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/05/2017 @ 2:59 p.m.

Charges: Simple Battery

Patrol officers responded to an alleged battery in the area of Apple St. Officers arrived and Courtney Smith was identified as a suspect in a battery that was committed on a juvenile. Smith was located and according to reports admitted to the battery. Smith was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Shawn Lee 04062017
Shawn Lee, 47 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/05/2017 @ 3:04 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Simple Burglary
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The Morgan City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a local LA 182 business. According to reports the search warrant was in regards to an investigation in which investigators were looking for stolen property from an alleged burglary. During the investigation an arrest warrant was prepared for Shawn Lee for Simple Burglary and Lee was located on the property. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Lee was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Mary A. Landry, 39 years of age, address: Main St. Patterson, La, arrested on 04/05/2017 @ 3:10 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Simple Burglary

Mary A. Landry was located and arrested at the Morgan City Jail on an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division in which Landry was identified as a suspect in an alleged burglary. According to reports during the investigation evidence was uncovered linking Landry to the burglary. An arrest warrant was prepared at which time Landry was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Gage Ford, 25 years of age, address: Maryland St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/05/2017 @ 4:01 p.m.

Charges: Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 No Inspection
                 Proper Equipment Required

Patrol officers responded to the area of Ditch Ave. in regards to a motorcycle driving reckless. Officer arrived to the area and Gage Ford was identified as the suspect. Officers located Ford in the area a short time later and according to reports evidence was uncovered linking him to the allegations. The motorcycle was not property equipped with turn signals or mirrors as required by Louisiana law. It was also determined that Ford did not have a valid inspection either. Ford was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Amanda Lake 04032017
Amanda Lake, 34 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/03/2017 @ 3:59 p.m.

Charges:
Attempted Theft of a Motor Vehicle

Patrol officers responded to a local business on Eighth St. in regards to a female trying to gain entry into a vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke with the alleged victim and Amanda Lake was developed as a suspect. According to reports officers spoke with Mrs. Lake who admitted that she was trying to gain entry into the vehicles with a key. When asked what her intentions were once inside she admitted that she was going to try and start the vehicle with the key in her possession. Lake was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Rickie J. Hayes, 52 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/03/2017 @ 7:12 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Cocaine
                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)
                 Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division while patrolling the area of Mount St. came in contact with a suspicious subject. Rickie J. Hayes was identified and according to reports Hayes was found to be in an intoxicated state. During the investigation investigators located suspected crack cocaine on Hayes’ person. The area where the incident took place is within a Drug Free Zone. Hayes was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charles Robinson Sr., 57 years of age, address: LA 182 Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/03/2017 @ 10:59 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Cocaine
                 Open Container in a motor vehicle

                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)

Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division while patrolling the area of Eleventh St. observed a vehicle without any operable brake lights. A stop was initiated and Charles Robinson Sr. was identified as the driver. According to reports investigators observed an open container in the vehicle. When retrieving the beverage also located next to it was suspected crack cocaine. The area where the incident took place is within a Drug Free Zone. Robinson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Quentin K. Henry was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Henry was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Francisco Perez Jr., 39 years of age, address: Jane Ave. Houma, La, arrested on 03/30/2017 @ 4:09 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Home Improvement Fraud

Francisco Perez Jr. was located and arrested at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. According to reports the warrant stems from an investigation conducted in January of 2017 by detectives in which Perez allegedly collected funds from the victim for renovations on a home and failed to complete the work. Perez was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Thomas R. Cook, 33 years of age, address: Russo St. Berwick, La, arrested on 03/31/2017 @ 12:30 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Theft of a Motor Vehicle

Thomas R. Cook was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. According to reports the warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in which Cook allegedly took a vehicle from a local Morgan City business and failed to return it. Cook was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Jamie M. Williams, 31 years of age, address: Main St. Patterson, La, arrested on 04/04/2017 @ 3:29 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to a residence on Belanger St. in regards to a male subject chasing a female with a firearm. Officers arrived in the area and Thomas Morgan was developed as a suspect and was located and detained without incident minutes after arriving. According to reports officers learned during the investigation that Morgan and Jamie Williams were involved in a altercation. Both subjects allegedly armed themselves during the altercation at which time police were notified. It was also learned that Morgan caused damage to Williams’ vehicle. The alleged firearm was deemed to be an air pellet rifle. Both Morgan and Williams were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Mark Hash, 42 years of age, address: Tammy Dr. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/04/2017 @ 3:52 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Telephone Harassment

Mark Hash was located and arrested at a residence on Tammy Dr. in regards to active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. According to reports the warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in March of 2017 where Hash allegedly continuously makes contact with the victim numerous times consecutively via telecommunications. Hash was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Sabrina Scully, 22 years of age, address: Allison St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/04/2017 @ 5:30 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Contempt of Court

Sabrina Scully was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Scully was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Mary A. Landry, 39 years of age, address: Main St. Patterson, La, arrested on 04/04/2017 @ 8:30 p.m.

                 Warrant: Possession of SCH IV CDS (Clonazepam)
                 Warrant: Possession of SCH IV CDS (Alprazolam)

                 Warrant: Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone)
                 Warrant: Theft between $5,000 - $25,000

After receiving information on a location of the whereabouts of Mary A. Landry she was located and arrested in West Baton Rouge Parish by the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from two separate investigations. According to reports in May of 2016  patrol officers responded to the area of Maple St. in regards to narcotic activity. Landry was developed as a suspect and found to be in possession of several different prescription medications she did not hold valid prescriptions for. The medication was sent off to the crime lab and yielded results of being identified as Phentermine, Clonazepam, Alprazolam, and Suboxone and warrants were prepapred for her arrest. The area where the incident took place is within a Drug Free Zone. According to reports the second warrant stems from an investigation that was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division in March of 2017 in regards to a theft of approximately $25,000 dollars worth of merchandise from a local business. Landry was developed as a suspect and detectives uncovered evidence linking her to the alleged theft and warrants were prepared for her arrest. Landry was transported from West Baton Rouge Detention Center to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Jefferson Barrilleaux, 42 years of age, address: Aucoin St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/04/2017 @ 11:57 p.m. 

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Aucoin St. in regards to a subject unresponsive in the complainant’s yard. According to reports arriving officers located Jefferson Barrilleaux and he was found to be in an intoxicated state. Barrilleaux was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tamario Q. Ulmer, 25 years of age, address: Glenwood St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/31/2017 @ 2:13 p.m.

Devin D. Andrews and Tamario Q. Ulmer was located at the Patterson Police Department and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stems from an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Division on March 24, 2017 where a search warrant was conducted on residence on Glenwood St. in Morgan City. Located during the search warrant was Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, Firearms, and Drug Paraphernalia. According to reports it alleges that the majority of the illicit drugs located was destined for sales and were linked to Andrews. Some Marijuana located was linked to Ulmer. The residence is located in a Drug Free Zone.  Andrews and Ulmer were transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Matthew V. Harrigan, 23 years of age, address: Leona St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/31/2017 @ 4:17 p.m.

Charges: Criminal Trespassing
                 Resisting an Officer
                 Warrant: Theft under $750

Patrol Officers responded to the area of Aucoin St. in regards to a complaint. While on scene officers were in search of a possible suspect and began receiving tips on a possible location. According to reports Matthew V. Harrigan was located hiding in the area and upon coming into contact with officers he fled on foot through residential yards. Harrigan was apprehended and was found to be unrelated to the original complaint. Harrigan held active arrest warrants through the Morgan City Police. Harrigan was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Sang H. Nguyen, 31 years of age, address: Goodwood Circle Houma, La, arrested on 04/02/2017 @ 02:05 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
                Possession of SCH IV CDS (Alprazolam)
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Patrolling officers observed a vehicle traveling on LA 182 without two operable headlights. A stop was initiated in which Clinton J. Roberts and Sang H. Nguyen was identified in the vehicle. According to reports the officers detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle produced Marijuana, Suboxone, Alprazolam, Hydroxyzine Pamoate, and various items of paraphernalia. A large amount of US Currency was located on Roberts. Roberts and Nguyen were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail. Once at the Morgan City Jail officers located more individually packaged bags of marijuana. Evidence was uncovered that the illicit drugs were destined for sales. The area where the incident took place is within a Drug Free Zone. Roberts and Nguyen were booked and incarcerated.

Arnie Brewer, 51 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/02/2017 @ 10:16 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A for court on 03/16/2015

Arnie Brewer was located and arrested at a residence on Fourth St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court in Franklin, La. Brewer was transported to the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Lisa Richard 04022017

Lisa Richard, 39 years of age, address: Elm St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 04/02/2017 @ 6:50 p.m.

Lisa Richard was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division in regards to an alleged theft. According to reports it accuses Richard of taking funds while working in a public position. Richard was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

A patrolling officer observed a vehicle with an improper lane violation in the area of Sixth Street. A stop was initiated and Jorge L. Saucedo-Juarez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. It was learned during the investigation that Saucedo-Juarez did not hold a valid driver’s license and that the license plate displayed was registered to another vehicle. Saucedo-Juarez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

                Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Patrol Officers responded to the area of Railroad Avenue in regards to a vehicle crash. Officer arrived and according to reports located a vehicle related to a vehicle that had struck a utility pole and attempt to leave the area. Wayne Clark was identified as the driver of the vehicle and located. Clark was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Donald J. Rock Sr. was located and arrested on active arrest warrants held by Morgan City Police. The warrant s stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in February of 2017 in relation to a crash investigation in the area of Marguerite St. Rock was identified as a suspect and warrants were prepared for his arrest. Rock was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Justin Bourgeois, 29 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/29/2017 @ 4:29 p.m.

Charges: Simple Criminal Damage to Property 

Patrol officers responded to the area of South Railroad Ave. in relation to property that was damaged. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who identified Justin Bourgeois as damaging property that belonged to them. Bourgeois was located at another residence on South Railroad Ave. and according to reports Bourgeois admitted to damaging the property of the victim. Bourgeois was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division responded to a residence on LA 182 in relation to a complaint involving illegal narcotics. Investigators arrived to the residence and made contact with Ronda Baines, Stephanie Aucoin, Gregory I. Johnson Sr., Ashley F. Vining, and a young juvenile. Permission was granted to conduct a search of the residence and located were items used in the consumption of illegal narcotics. Suspected Hydrocodone which is a SCH III CDS was also located during the search. According to reports during the investigation evidence was uncovered that the four suspects were involved in the illicit use of narcotics just prior to their arrival and this was done in the presence of the juvenile. Also during the investigation it was learned that the suspected Hydrocodone belonged to Aucoin. Baines, Aucoin, Johnson, and Vining were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in relation to a disturbance involving a firearm. Officers arrived and James D. Rowell was developed as a suspect. According to reports officers uncovered evidence that Rowell was outside of the residence producing a firearm while threatening victims and causing a disturbance. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Firearm Free Zone. Rowell was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Douglas Dilsaver Jr 03292017
Douglas Dilsaver Jr., 34 years of age, address: Fig St. Morgan City, La, arrested on 03/29/2017 @ 7:19 p.m.

Charges: Illegal use of Dangerous Instrumentalities
                 Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
                 Violation of a Firearm Free Zone

Patrol officers responded to the area of Fig St. in relation to a discharge of a firearm complaint. Officers arrived to the area and Douglas Dilsaver Jr. was developed as a suspect. According to reports officers uncovered evidence that Dilsaver was involved in a domestic dispute and discharged a firearm during the argument in a residential neighborhood. It was also learned that Dilsaver was a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. The suspected firearm was located and seized. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Firearm Free Zone. Dilsaver was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
