Ted A Smith, 46 years of age, Address: Dawn Drive, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/08/2015 @ 10:31 A.M. 


Charges:  Flight From An Officer
                  Stop Sign Violation
                  Resisting An Officer
                  Criminal Trespassing

     An officer responded to a local business on Everett Street in regard to Ted A Smith going onto the property which Smith had been previously removed and was advised not to return. When the officer arrived Smith was located inside of a parked vehicle.  The officer made conact with Smith when Smith 
began shouting at the officer then sped away from the officer. The officer then persued Smith when Smith was observed running several stop signs. A short time later officers were able to stop Smith near the intersection of Freret St. and Federal Ave. Officers ordered smith out of the vehicle and onto the ground when according to reports Smith refused to obey the officers. Smith was taken to ground, handcuffed and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Vicente Sepulvedia, 30 years of age, Address: Roderick Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/08/2015 @ 2:32 P.M.


Charges:  Stop Sign Violation
                  No Drivers License
                  No Vehicle Insurance

     An officer was patroling the area of Victor II Blvd. and Hwy 70 when the officer observed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Vicente Sepulvedia. An investigation revealed that Sepulvedia did not have a drivers license nor did the vehicle have proof of insurance. Sepulvedia was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Heidi M Songe, 39 years of age, Address: Third Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/08/2015 @ 9:16 P.M. 


Charges:  Possession With the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law (Drug Free Zone)

     On 12/08/2015 the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on Third Street residence of Heidi M Songe. Upon doing so Songe was located inside the residence and detained. A search of the residence was conducted when investigators located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence. Reports indicate that the residence was within close proximaty of a local elementary school which violates the uniformed controlled dangerous substance laws. Songe was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

Earl J Mire, 48 years of age, Address: Glenwood Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/09/2015 @ 2:02 A.M. 


Charges:  Speeding
                  Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense

     An officer was partolling the area of Glenwood Street when a vehicle was observed speeding 40 mph in a 20 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Earl J Mire. While speaking with Mire reports indicate it was believed that Mire had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Mire was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for further testing where Mire submitted to the intoxilyzer 5000 with a blood alcohol concentration of .156 grams percent. Mire was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Ronald J Winslow, 25 years of age, Address: Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/09/2015 @ 4:05 A.M.


Charges:  Warrants - 3 Counts of Criminal Neglect of Family

     An officer responded to a local business on Marguerite in regard to a disturbance. The officer arrived and made contact with Ronald J Winslow. A warrants check revealed that the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office held several arrest warrants on Winslow. Winslow was placed under arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jessie H Ridderjelke, 32 years of age, Address: Moblie, Alabama was arrested on 12/04/2015 @ 12:08 P.M.

                 Warrant - Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

     Jessie H Ridderjelke who was incarcerated at the Sulpher Police Department was transported to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to warrants held by Morgan City Police for his arrest. Ridderjelke was booked into the Morgan City Police Dapartment Jail and incarcerated.

Eric S Driskill, 40 years of age, Address: Second Street, Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/05/2015 @ 8:30 P.M.


Charge:  Warrant - Probation Violation

     Eric S Driskill was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department in regard to a warrant held by Morgan City Police for his arrest. Driskill was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Quincy J Johnson, 21 years of age, Address: Orange Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/06/2015 @ 11:37 P.M.


Charge:  Appearing in an Intoxicated Condition

     An officer was patrolling the area of Federal Ave. near Onstead Street when the officer observed a subject walking in the are and stumble several times. Contact was made with the subject who was identified as Quincy J Johnson who according to reports appeared to be in an intoxicated condition. Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jairo Molina, 29 years of age, Address: Mandeville, La. was arrested on 12/07/2015 @ 3:25 A.M. 


Charge:  Warrant - Failure to Appear for Domestic Abuse Battery

     Jairo Molina came into the Morgan City Police Department in regard an active warrant for his arrest held by Morgan City Police. Molina was placed under arrest, booked and incarcerated.

     Alton Kemp was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. Kemp was booked and later released on bail.

Jasmine R. Broussard, Age-25, Address- Maple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 12:05 pm.

   Jasmine Broussard was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail, when a warrant was filed by the Sixth Ward City Court for probation violation. Broussard was booked and remains incarcerated.

   Allen Lennep was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Jail, when the Sixth Ward City Court issued a warrant for probation violation. Lennep was booked and remains incarcerated.

Russell Blanchard, Age-28, Address-Perro Lane, Berwick, La. was arrested on 12/02/2015 @ 2:04 pm.

     Russell Blanchard turned himself in to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant for simple battery. Blanchard was booked and later released on bail.

     Rebecca Demarco was located in the area of David Dr. A warrant check was done Demarco and it was determined that she held active warrants for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and the Sixteenth Judical District Court. Demarco was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ulyses I Bias, 59 years of age, Address: Egle Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/07/2015 @ 1:27 P.M.

                  Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

     An officer responded to an address on Egle Street in regard to a subject that had fallen off of a bicycle. The officer arrived and located a subject sitting on the side of the street next to a bicycle. The subject told the officer he was Kevin Bias. It was believed that the subject had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. The subject was placed under arrest at which time he revealed that his real name was Ulyses I Bias which was later confirmed. Bias was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jovan M Mosely, 35 years of age, Address: Bernarnd Street, Patterson, La. was arrested on 12/08/2015 @ 3:30 A.M.

                 Window Tint Violation

     An officer was patrolling the area of Justa Street when a vehicle was observed on Allison Street with illegal window tint. A traffic stop was conducted which was near a local church when the driver was identified as Jovan M Mosely who appeared to be spraying air freshener inside the vehicle. Mosely got out of the vehicle when he was asked for a driver's license and vehicle papers. Mosely could not produce proper proof of insurance for the vehicle and it was learned that his driver's license was suspended. While speaking with Mosely reports indicate that an odor of marijuana was detected by officers coming from the vehicle and Mosely's person. Small pieces of what appeared to be marijuana were also observed on Mosely's shirt. Mosely began reaching inside his pockets when he was told by officers several times to take his hands from his pockets. Mosely then pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. Officers attempted to conduct a pat down when Mosley ran back to his vehicle. Mosely was able to get back inside the vehicle when officers struggle to get him out. Mosely was able to drive away and fleeing East on Hwy 90 when officers persued him. . The pursuit continued to Hwy 182 then to Hwy 662 then onto Hwy 20 to Bayou Black Drive reaching speeds of 100 mph. Louisiana State Police also assisted with pursuit. Mosely was observed throwing objects out of the vehicle which officers believed to be illegal narcotics. While attempted to complete a turn Mosely lost control of the vehicle when the vehicle slid into a drainage ditch. Mosely got out of the vehicle and began running on foot from officers when but was captured moments later. A search of the vehicle was conducted when officers located suspected marijuana, cocaine and Xanax inside the vehicle. Suspected marijuana was also located on Mosely's person.

Felicia Young, 42 years of age, Address-Joseph St. Morgan City,LA was arrested on 12/03/2015 @ 10:21 am.


Charge: Warrant-Contempt of Court
     
     Felicia Young was located by officer of the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on warrants from City Court of Morgan City for Failure to Appear for a review hearing.  Young was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Pearl Ross, 31 years of age, Address, North Verret St. Morgan City,LA was arrested on 12/03/2015 @ 2:36 pm.  


Charges: Warrant Creation of a Clandestine Lab
                 Warrant Simple Arson
     
      Pearl Ross was arrest on warrants stemming from an investigation by Morgan City Police Department Detectives into a suspected Methamphetamine lab.  Officers were called to U. S. Hwy 90 for a vehicle fire.  Officers arrived along with first responders who located Ross outside of the vehicle.  Ross had sustained injuries from a fire inside the vehicle.  Officers learned from the investigation officers located items used in the creation of Methamphetamine.  Ross did admit to officers that they were attempting to make Methamphetamine when the vehicle caught fire.  Ross was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and released.

Lucius P. Romero, Age-40, Address- North Third St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/01/2015 @ 2:55 pm.


Charge:  Possession of Sch II Methamphetamine
                Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law
                Warrant- Failure to Pay Fines
                 Warrant- Failure to Appear for Remaining After Being Forbidden

     The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division with the assistance of the St. Mary Parish Sheriffs Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on a residence on North Third St. Entry was made and officers located Lucius Romero barricaded in one of the bedrooms. Romero was detained and officers searched the residence. Officers located suspected methamphetamine and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. Romero also held active warrants for the Sixth Ward City Court. Romero was also charged with violation of controlled dangerous substance law because the residence is located within 2000 feet of a elementary school. Romero was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Jarod D. Hope, Age- 25, Address- New Iberia, La. was arrested on 12/01/2015 @ 3:45 pm.

     Jared Hope was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Hope was booked and incarcerated.
