Mylean Phu, 27 years of age, Address: Mallard Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/19/2015 @ 2:41 A.M. 


Charges:  Improper Lane Usage
                 Driving While Intoxicated

     An officer was patroling the area of Hwy 182 near Halsey Street when a vehicle was observed traveling out of the lane of travel several times. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Mylean Phu. During the course of the stop it was believed that Phu had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. Phu was placed under arrest and transpored to the Morgan City Police Department for further testing. Reports indicate that further testing was conducted utlizing the intoxilyzer 5000 resulting a blood alcohol concentration of .081 grams percent. Phu was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Danielle Bennett, 26 years of age, Address: First Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/16/2015 @ 10:39 A.M. 


Charge: Warrant - Second Degree Cruelty to a Juvenile

     Detectives with the Morgan City Police Department executed a search warrant at an address on First Street. Danielle Bennett and Tamra Manning were located at the residence and arrested on warrants held for their arrest by Morgan City Police. The warrants were obtained as a result of an investigation conducted by Morgan City Police Department Detectives. The incidnet was reported on 11/12/2015 which Bennett and Manning were accused of second degree cruelty to a juvenile three years of age.  Both Bennett and Manning were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked, incarcerated and each held on a $500,00.00 bond. The matter is still under investigation.

     Brandon O Nelson was transported to the Morgan City Police Department from the LaFourche Parish Sheriff's Office Detention Center in regard to arrest warrants held for Nelson by Morgan City Police. Nelson was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

Joseph M Price, 43 years of age, Address: Levee Road, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/16/2015 @ 10:24 A.M.

     Joseph M Price was located by an officer in the area of Federal Ave. near Willow Street at which time Price was arrested on warrants for his arrest held by Morgan City Police. Price was transported to the Morgan City Police Depatment Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

John A Clark, 49 years of age, Address: Fourth Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/16/2015 @ 4:14 P.M. 


Charges:  Domestic Abuse Battery
                  Simple Battery

     Officers with the Morgan City Police Department reponded to an address on Fourth St. in regard to a report of a disturbance which resulted in a battery. The officer arrived and located John A Clark along with two female victims on scene. Reports indicate that the victims told the officer that they were at the residence when an argument had taken place between one of the victims and Clark. The victim had repotedly lived with Clark for several years. During the argument Clark pushed the female into a wall then walked over to the other victim when Clark spit in her face. This same information was reported to the officer by several witnesses.  Clark was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Terry M Menard, 56 years of age, Address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/16/2015 @ 6:32 P.M.


Charge: Simple Battery

     On officer responded to an address on Fourth St. in regard to a report of a battery. The officer located Terry M Menard along with the victim and a witness to the incident. The officer was told by the victim and witness that an argument over a beer had taken place between Menard and the victim. Menard then struck the victim several times in the facial area. Reports indicate that marks consistent with a battery were observed on the victim. Menard was then placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Ronald W Johnson, 24 years of age, Address: Bayou Vista, La. was arrested on 11/17/2015 @ 7:32 A.M.

     Ronald W Johnson came into the Morgan City Police Department to turn himself in on an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police.  Johnson was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail and incarcerated.

     An officer patrolling the area of Victor II Blvd observed a vehicle with no brake lights.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Kumaravel Nadar.  Upon speaking the Nadar he could not produce a drivers license.  A computer check showed that Nadar driver's license was suspended and that his vehicle was not insured.  Nadar was asked admited to the officer that he knew his license was suspended.  Nadar was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Micah Soileau, 18 years of age, Address-Joey St Patterson,La. was arrested on 11/12/2015 @ 7:00 pm.


Charges: Warrant-Simple Burglary
                 Warrant-Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
     Micah Soileau was already incarcerated at the Morgan City Police Department Jail; he was booked on Warrants for Simple Burglary and Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.  The arrest comes after an investigation into a vehicle burglary in which a bag with a laptop computer and cash.

                 Joni Madison was arrested at the Morgan City Police Department for warrants from the City Court of Morgan City for failing to comply with her probation.  Madison was booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

     Officers were called to a lounge on Victor II Blvd due to a fight.  Upon officers arrival they learned that a fight took place between two female subject identified as Christine Cantrell and Cindy Sanders.  Officers spoke with both subjects who admitted that they were involved in a fight.  Officer placed both subjects under arrest at which time Cantrell began to attempt to pull away from officer attempting to place her in handcuffs.  After being transported to the Morgan City Police Department Cantrell was found to have suspected cocaine in her clothing.  Sanders was also found to have warrants fromt he St. Mary Parish Sheriffs office.  Both subjects were booked into the Morgan City Police Department Jail.

Chad Carmouche, 36 years of age, Address-Glenwood St. Morgan City,La.  was arrested on 11/12/2015 @ 10:28 pm.

     Chad Carmouche was arrested after detectives conducted a search warrant of his residence.  Chad Carmouche was at the residence during the time of the search warrant and was placed under arrest after an investigation that alleged that Carmouche had used a cellular phone to take photos of a female subject.  Carmouche was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking. Carmouche was also found to be wanted by the 16JDC. The investigation is still ongoing.

Fran Keller, 52 years of age, Address: Napoleonville, La. was arrested on 11/17/2015 @ 7:40 P.M.


Charge:  Warrant - Probation Vilolation

     On 11/17/2015 the 6th Ward Morgan City Court issued an arrest warrant on Fran Keller for  probation violation. Keller who was already incarcerated in the Morgan City Police Department Jail on other charges was booked on the warrant and remaines incarcerated.

Nathaniel A Rollins, 19 years of age, Address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/17/2015 @ 10:53 P.M. 


Charges:  Possession of Synthetic Marijuana (3rd Offense)
                  Possesion of Methamphetamine
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Laws (Drug Free Zone)
                  Resisting an Officer
                  Warrants - (4 Counts) Failure to Appear for Drug Court

     The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Detectives responded to a local motel on Brasehear Ave. in regard to illegal drug activity taking place inside one of the rooms. Detectives arrived and made contact with a female inside of the room. While speaking with the female a noise was heard coming from the closet. The closet was checked and Nathaniel A Rollins was located hiding inside. Reports indicated that Rollins was hiding his hands and was ordered out the closet several times but refused to do so. Moments later Rollins was detained. A warrants check was conducted which revealed that there were four arrest warrants through the 16th Judicial District Court for Rollins. Rollins was placed under arrest on the warrants. A search of Rollins person was conducted when investigators located suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also located suspected methamphetamine in the area where Rollins was hiding which according to reports Rollins said belonged to him. The location the incident had taken place was near a local school which is a drug free zone. Rollins was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lectoria Grogan, 27 years of age, Address: St. Clair Street, Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/18/2015 @ 12:21 A.M. 


Charges:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                  Warrant - Resisting an Officer
                  Warrant - Simple Battery
                  Warrant - Criminal Damage to Property

     Officers responded to Teche Regional Medical Center in regard to a disturbance involving an altercation. Officers arrived and located Lectoria Grogan along with another female individual when officers were told by witnesses that Grogan was involved in the disturbance. Reports indicated that after speaking with Grogan it was believed that Grogan had been drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. A warrants check was conducted which revealed that the Morgan City Police Department held several arrest warrants for Grogan. Grogan was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.

David S. Howell, Age-50, Address-Susan Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/13/2015 @ 11:15 am. 


Charge:  Appearing In Public Intoxicated

    Officers located David Howell in the parking lot of a local hotel. Officers could smell an odor alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and he was unable to maintaine his balance. Howell was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Lee M. Boudreaux, Age- 41, Address- Verret St. Amelia, La. was arrested on 11/13/2015 @ 10:42 pm. 


Charges:  Operation of Clandestine Lab for Manufacture of Methamphetamine
                  Possession of Sch II Methamphetamine
                  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                  Manufacture of Methamphetamine
                  Warrant- Failure to Appear Neglect of Family (St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office)

     The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hwy 182 near Aycock St. on a vehicle observed to have heavy damage to the front windshield. The driver of the vehicle, Kacy Norman was asked to produce a valid driver's license. Officers noticed that Norman appeared very nervous. The passenger in the vehicle, Lee Boudreaux was asked to exit the vehicle. Officers subsequently received get consent to search the vehicle. Items located in the vehicle were suspected methamphetamine, items used to manufacture methamphetamine and item used to smoke illegal narcotics.  During the intial stop, it was determined that Norman had given officers a false name. Both Norman and Boudreaux held active warrants with Sixteenth Judicial District Court. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Shannon M. Zeringue, Age-42, Address- Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/14/2015  2:26 am. 


Charges:  Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated
                  License Plate Light Required
                  Improper Lane Usage 

     A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 and Eleventh St. observed a vehicle swerving in the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Shannon Zeringue was asked to produce a valid driver's license.  While speaking to Zeringue, the officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. Zeringue was asked to perform the standard field soberity test, in which she performed poorly. Zeringue was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the department, Zeringue was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication. Zeringue results indicated a blood alcohol content of .087g %. Zeringue was then charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. She was booked and incarcerated.

James L. Wilson, Age-26, Address- Franklin, La. was arrested on 11/14/2015 @ 7:51 am.

     James Wilson was transported from the Franklin Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the Sixth Ward City Court. Wilson was booked and incarcerated.

Allison F. Lecombe, Age-51, Address- Erath, La. was arrested on 11/14/2015 @ 12:40 pm. 


Charges:  Possession of Marijuana
                  Illegal Use of Controlled Drug in Presence of Persons Under 17 years old
                  Required Periodical Inspections

     A patrol officer in the area of Ditch Ave. and Eighth St. observed a vehicle with a large crack on the driver's side of the front windshield. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Allison Lecombe was asked to produce a valid driver's license. The officer also noticed a small child in the vehicle. While talking to Lecombe, the officer could smell an odor of suspected marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The officer was able to get consent to search the vehicle from Lacombe. The officer located suspected marijuana inside the vehicle and Lacombe was placed under arrest. The child was turn over to a guardian. Lacombe was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Milton Hernandez, Age-30, Address-Willard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/14/2015  10:02 pm.

     A patrol officer in the area of Federal and Brashear Ave. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Milton Hernandez was asked to produce a valid driver's license. A computer check revealed that Hernandez did not have a driver's license. Hernandez was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Charles W. Walker, Age-39, Address- Lafayette, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 12:10 am.

     A patrol officer in the area of Seventh St. and Ditch Ave. observed a vehicle cross the center line. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Charles Walker was asked to produce a valid driver's license. While talking to Walker, the officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath.  Walker was asked to perform the standardized field soberity test, in which he performed poorly. Walker was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Walker was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication. Walker's results indicated a .132g % of blood alcohol content. Walker was then charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Erik Alejo, Age- 41, Address- Willow St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 3:08 am.


Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Willow St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived they spoke to the victim, who stated that her husband, Erik Alejo and her had gotten into a verbal altercation. The verbal altercation led to Alejo slapping her in the face, shoving her to the floor and choking her. Officers obseved marks on the victim's neck and facial area consistent with her statments. Officers located Alejo inside the residence. According to reports, Alejo admitted to choking the victim. Alejo was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Fran M. Keller, Age- 52, Address- Napoleonville, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 11:53 am. 


Charges:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated
                  Warrant- Failure to Appear Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
 
     Fran Keller was located on Victor II Blvd. and appeared to intoxicated. A warrants check was done on Keller and it was determined that she held an active warrant for the Sixth Ward City Court. Keller was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Timothy B. McKinley, Age-32, Address- Taylorsville, MS was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 6:35 pm.

Jeffery L, Mayon, Age- 51, Address- Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 6:35 pm.


Charge: Engaging in a Fistic Encounter

     Officers were dispatched to a residence on Sixth St. in regards to a disturbance. When officers arrived, they came in to contact with Jeffery Mayon and Timothy McKinley. Officers observed both subjects appeared intoxicated. According to reports, both Mayon and McKinley admitted to fighting. Officers did witness McKinley make a verbal threat towards Mayon. Mayon and McKinley were both placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Mary V. McIntosh, Age- 52, Address- Keith St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 4:06 pm. 


Charges:  Appearing in Public Intoxicated
                 Simple Battery
                 Resisting an Officer

     Officers were dispatched to the area of Fourth St. near Everett St. in regards to a disturbance in the roadway.  When officers arrived, they spoke to the victim, who stated that Mary McIntosh had come to her residence and committed a battery on her.  Officers did observe a mark on the victim consistent with her statement. Officers located McIntoch in the area and she appeared intoxicated. Reports indicate that McIntosh admitted to going to the residence and committing the battery. When the officer tried to place McIntosh under arrest, she pulled away, but was subdued. McIntosh was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Agustin C. Gutierrez, Age-32, Address- Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 10:15 pm.

Samuel A. Vargas. Age- 24, Address- Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/15/2015 @ 10:15 pm.


Charge: Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in Motor Vehicle

     A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 near the US 90 Junction observed a vehicle swerving in and out of the lane. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Agustin Gutierrez was asked to produce a valid driver's license. While speaking to Gutierrez, the officer could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. A computer check revealed that Guitierrez did not have a driver's license. Gutierrez was also asked to perform the standard field soberity test, but refused. Open containers of alcoholic beverages were located on the driver side of the vehicle and on the passenger side.  The passenger, Samuel Vargas and Gutierrez were both placed under arrest. Once at the police department Gutierrez was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication, but refused. He was then charged with Operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Kedesha Scott, 20 years of age, Address-Federal Ave, Morgan City,La. was arrested on 11/11/2015 @ 3:27pm


Charge:  Warrant- Principal To Armed Robbery
     Kedesha Scott was located by patrol officers who knew of a warrant for her arrest.  Scott was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.  Scott was arrested on a Warrant for Principal to Armed Robbery which is connected to the ongoing investigation of an armed robbery which occurred on October 30,2015.

Robin Carbins, 28 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City,La was arrested on 11/11/2015 @ 10:14pm


Charges: Appearing in Public in an Intoxicated Condition 
                 Remaining after being Forbidden
     Officers responded to a Hwy 182 business after a complaint of a subject who was not allowed on the property.  Officers identified Robin Carbins as the person and spoke with him after he was found sleeping in the restroom of the business.  Carbins admitted that he had been drinking and according to reports was intoxicated.  Carbins was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

Toby Ledet, 42 years of age, Address-South Railroad Ave, Morgan City,La. was arrested on 11/11/2015 @ 11:04 pm


Charge: Warrant -FTA for Arraignment 
     Officers were dispatched to a Hwy182 business after a subject there was attempting to purchase an alcoholic beverage without an ID.  Officers spoke with Toby Ledet and after a check of local warrants found him to be wanted for Failing to Appear for Arraignment in the City Court of Morgan City.  Ledet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking.

     Eric Howard was located by officers and placed under arrest on outstanding warrants for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Burglary and Warrants from Patterson PD for Theft from a Motor Vehicle.  Howard was placed under arrest and transported to The Morgan City Police Department.  Howard was arrested in connection with an ongoing armed robbery investigation.  The investigation is still ongoing.
